There were 19 answers before the censor struck. Most of them expose a paucity of knowledge and logic. Note the common assumption, the implied imbecilic postulate: 'Islam is a religion.'.
#s 1,3,4,6, 12 & 15 advocate banning all religion.

#2 wants to know how we'd do it.

  1. Amend the Constitution to exclude Islam from the umbrella of first amendment protection by declaring that it is not a valid religion, on the grounds of:
  2. Criminalize the operation of Mosques, Masjids & Madrassas; the propagation and practice of Islam.
  3. Revoke the citizenship of Muslims on these grounds:
    • Allah's slaves owe their alliegence to Allah, having submitted their free will
    • Allah's slaves are obligated to make war upon us.
    • Allah's slaves are forbidden to be equal or subordinate to Kuffar, and must be in a superior position.
    • Their oaths of allegiance are null and void.
    • Declaration & prosecution of war against the United States.
  4. Deport Allah's slaves.
  5. Close our borders to Allah's slaves.
  6. Urge other nominally Christian nations to follow suit.
  7. Demand United Nations sanctions against Islam on grounds of incomparability with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
#5 imagines that Islam is equal to Christianity and opposes banning.
#7 Limits banning to "Only those who believe convert or die, is an OK ethos.", not knowing that doctrine is intrinsic to Islam.
#8 Sarcastically invokes extreme misanthropy: "why don't we ban breathing as well while we're at it"
#9 Says: "Provocative question". Is there something wrong with asking provocative questions?
#10 Proposes banning faith based schools and teaching religion therein.
#11 Says: "Notsomuch Islam.. just the terrorists who use Islam to justify their horrendous deeds.
Of course there are plenty of people who use plenty of other religions to justify their stances against humanity. If only it would stop." Evidently she does not know that Islam was created for the purpose of rationalizing rapine and motivating men to participate in it.
#13 Considers the proposal counterproductive. "Ban anything and you create martyrs and encourage it"...
#14 Displays total separation from reality: " Tolerate and ignore all religions, kills em stone dead.".
#16 Says "Not yet'.
#17 Seems to imply that the Jews "hijacked Islam".
#18 Says:"You can't ban any religion. Every person has the right to keep his faith, whether he is Christian, Muslim or Atheist."Evidently he does not comprehend the fact that Islam is a militarized murder cult, not a religion. He postulates a right to believe in a divine right & duty to rob, enslave, rape & kill anyone who does not share that belief. How far he is from rationality!
#19 agrees, adding: "...there is never a good reason for violence." To Muslims, Allah's commands & Moe's exemplary conduct are ample reason for violence!

Now therefore I exhort you to sign the following petitions if you have not yet done so, copy them, paste them into an email, and distribute them as widely as possible. Post these links in your blogs and web sites. Promote them in forums. Spread the word!!!
  1. Outlaw Islam! Amend the U. S. Constitution to exclude Islam from the definition of religion. Copy the blog post with the petition text, signature link, and links to the evidence presented. Paste it into an email and broadcast it widely!!
  2. Ban Islam , written & posted by a Canadian Crusader, this petition asks the World Court to ban Islam. In two weeks, this petition has garnered 108 signatures, many from Europeans. Please sign this petition, copy it, paste it into an email & send it to everyone in your address book. Ask the recipients to pass it on.

There's Always Next Year Girls!

This post is dedicated to my daughter's softball team, the White Tiger Cubs.

My youngest daughter has never been interested in sports. When she HAS shown the slightest inkling, her grades have held her back (she's smart, but hates school and her grades show it).

This year, however, she wanted to play softball and she wanted it badly. So badly, she brought home great report cards, even bringing her science and math grades up from solid D's to A's.

She goes to a charter middle school, so the "league" is very small--in fact, there were only five regular season games. Her team took to the field with no uniforms the first few games, looking more like a sandlot team than a school team. They had very little equipment.

They could play like you wouldn't believe for a bunch of relative beginners. They tied their first game. Not a bad start. Over the weeks, they acquired uniforms and equipment, looking more like a school team. And they won their next four games.

Sure, they made mistakes--lots of them. They didn't let that stop them. They even had practices on days school wasn't in session--and my daughter stomped her feet and screamed til she was blue in the face that she wasn't going to miss a practice (that particular day I wasn't really up to driving). She got to practice, though driving was hell for me that day. If she was that determined to go to practice, I was going to get her there.

The team picked up three sponsors--me, my boss and one of our clients. They now had all the equipment they needed. Every girl had a glove, they had plenty of balls and bats, they had bases (the school had them) and it turned out their sister high school had softball pants. Their jersey's came in. Still, they played their hearts out.

The games took place on days with biting winds, and the parents shivered in the stands.

They learned how to win and how to win graciously. They learned they could have fun and they learned a uniform doesn't necessarily make a player. They learned other teams want to win just as badly. The parents cheered on all the girls--it didn't matter which team the girls were on, the girls were playing in a "baby" league and those girls were trying.

Tonight, the girls learned how to lose. They learned there's no shame when you give it your best shot and lose to a team who wants the win a little bit more. They didn't realize, though, this loss, their one and only, was also the end of their season. Tonight was the beginning of playoffs.

You can chalk it up to the weather--maybe. It was a beautiful day here, mid-70's and neither the girls nor the parents were shivering. I swear everyone had a case of spring fever. Or you can chalk it up to the other team simply wanted the win more. Either way, the girls lost and are out of the playoffs. Their one and only loss.

I have this to say to them, though--Girls, you did GREAT this year. From very humble beginnings, you worked hard and you played hard. You competed well and with honor. Every single one of you has some serious talent and I hope you play again next year. It was an honor seeing your enthusiasm, your good humor, your hard work and your dedication to your team. I salute you girls and hope everyone of you plays again next year.

Well done, ladies, well done. You started with the nickname of "tygers" until you won your first game--then you became "tigers". A name well earned.

The Danish Cartoons

Just because I'm feeling contrary and am tired of all the recumbent "religion of peace" bullshit, I'm posting all 12 of the Danish cartoons that have muslim's turbans in a twist. That, and I'm all for supporting our Danish journalists, those who still have integrity and aren't groveling to appease the barbarians, unlike our own so-called journalists. Call them hate speech if you like, I really don't care. Nor will I remove them if some muslim gets his turban in a twist. Don't like it? Too bad. Free press, baby, and free speech. Go Denmark!

I found the cartoons here at the Assyrian International News Agency and they referenced them as The cartoons depicting Muhammad, first published by the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten last September. They were also referenced by Spree at Wake Up America!
in her piece entitled Danish Police Foil Murder Plot Against Danish Cartoonist of Muhammed Cartoons. Go check out her piece--it's a good one.

Frankly, I don't see a thing offensive with these cartoons--certainly nothing that warrants a death sentence on anyone, nor riots in streets. But then, as a Catholic, I find other things offensive; things like this:

And this:

But then, anyone with an ounce of sense knows Catholics aren't going to riot in the streets and issue death threats against those who offend them. So it's much easier to offend Catholics and Christians--just ask the ACLU and CAIR. They are the two leading components in screaming "offense" if it's ANYONE OTHER than a Christian.

Disgusting. I'm glad the Danes made the arrests and have stood by their journalist as well as stood their ground as the freedom loving country they are.

Myth vs Fact-Part 236

Myth Fact
Islam: Religion of peace. Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 351:

Narrated Al-Miswar bin Makhrama:

That 'Amr bin Auf, who was an ally of Bani 'Amir bin Luai and one of those who fought at Badr in the company of the Prophet , said, "Allah's Apostle sent Abu 'Ubaida bin Al-Jarrah to Bahrain to bring the Jizya taxation from its people, for Allah's Apostle had made a peace treaty with the people of Bahrain and appointed Al-'Ala' bin Al-Hadrami as their ruler. So, Abu 'Ubaida arrived with the money from Bahrain. When the Ansar heard of the arrival of Abu 'Ubaida (on the next day) they offered the morning prayer with the Prophet and when the morning prayer had finished, they presented themselves before him. On seeing the Ansar, Allah's Apostle smiled and said, "I think you have heard that Abu 'Ubaida has brought something?" They replied, "Indeed, it is so, O Allah's Apostle!" He said, "Be happy, and hope for what will please you. By Allah, I am not afraid that you will be poor, but I fear that worldly wealth will be bestowed upon you as it was bestowed upon those who lived before you. So you will compete amongst yourselves for it, as they competed for it and it will destroy you as it did them."

Tafsir

  • Why did Moe send bin Al-Jarrah to Bahrain?
  • What did bin Al-Jarrah bring back from Bahrain?
  • What was the source of the wealth Moe feared would ruin his followers?
At A Newt One, my posting lags. I just posted 40:51, wherein Allah promises victory to his messengers. The reference is to the battle of Badr. Read that post, then answer these questions.

  • Is Islam a religion of peace?
  • What will you do about it??

Has The World Abandoned Israel?

The following series of articles may help answer the question posed in the title of this post.

Israel’s Test
By Jamie Glazov

FrontPageMagazine.com Friday, March 02, 2007

What are the dire threats Israel now faces? Will it be able to equip itself to face them? To explore these questions with us today, Frontpage Symposium has assembled a distinguished panel.

The guests were; Rael Isaac, David Hornik, Caroline Glick, David Keyes and Kenneth Levin.

Read the rest here.

********************

The entire body of the Jewish people today -- in Israel, in Europe, in America, in Australia and New Zealand, and throughout the world -- is in grave danger. Our very existence as a people and as a faith is in jeopardy. The threat to our survival has two components to it: the external siege being waged against Israel and the Jewish people throughout the world by the international jihadist movement, its sympathizers and appeasers; and the internal siege that we Jews, both in Israel and in the Diaspora, including the United States, are waging against ourselves.

We will look first at the external siege -- war that is being waged against us. It has its military, diplomatic, and ideological-propaganda aspects.

The Terrorist Cancer and the Cure for the Middle East
Daniel Greenfield

How do you fight cancer in an infected patient? Conventional wisdom would say that you do it by attacking the cancer cells in the body. When it comes to terrorism however, the West's prescription for fighting terrorism is to attack the healthy cells in the body instead.

If international terrorism is a cancer, the Middle East is practically late stage terminal. Yet the one place in the Middle East that is not producing cancer cells, the Jewish population of Israel, is the one that all the professional diplomats and surgeons busy playing surgeon are so eager to cut out.

The conventional wisdom among diplomats and pundits has it that the one non-Arab and non-Muslim state in the Middle East is the cause of all the Arab and Islamic terrorism. Which is a little like a doctor diagnosing the healthy parts of the body as cancerous and arguing that the cancer would go away if we simply got rid of the last healthy organ in the body.

An intelligent approach to the Middle East would have been to empower the Jewish, Christian, Sufi and Zoroastrian populations of the Middle East, to raise up the minority Assyrian, Kurdish, Armenian, Azeri and Coptic populations consistently persecuted by the Arab, Persian and Muslim majorities who sponsor and conduct terrorism against the West. Instead the United States has consistently disregarded their rights and focused instead on appeasing the region's Arab, Persian Nationalist and Islamic tyrannies.
