The Celebration of Class Warfare

On October 2, 2010 so-called Labor Leaders, Progressives, Socialists, Communists, Code Pink, and other Moonbat Idiots Members of the far-left gathered at the Lincoln Memorial to condemn the United States, Glen Beck, The Tea Party, and the people who attended and supported the Restoring Honor event with the One Nation Rally.

I was not at either event but Robert Ringer was.  These are his observations on the October 2nd rally:
The weather was perfect — 72 degrees and sunny — for the "One Nation Working Together" rally at the Lincoln Memorial on Oct. 2. I was determined to go with an open mind because I wanted to try to understand what would motivate someone to attend an event sponsored by unions and self-proclaimed socialist and communist groups.

The first time I heard about the rally the thought crossed my mind how embarrassing it was that union bosses and their counterparts in a wide variety of extremist, left-wing organizations would put on an event to counter one sponsored by a television commentator, Glenn Beck. It was like a third-grader trying to one-up a popular rival on the playground.

Of course, the organizers would now deny they were responding to Beck’s 8/28 Restoring Honor event, but that in itself would be embarrassing given that they’ve been talking about it being their answer to his hugely successful rally since they first came up with the idea. On Saturday, I only heard bits and pieces of a few speeches, but at least one of the speakers shouted, "Somebody tell Glenn Beck there are more people here than at his event."

The rally started at noon and, as planned, I arrived in Washington just before 2:00 p.m. As I entered D.C. from the Virginia side, the first thing I noticed was that people were walking away from the rally site in droves. Not a good sign for an event that was scheduled to last until 4:00 p.m.

As I stopped at the first light after coming across the Teddy Roosevelt Bridge, I glanced to my left and was surprised to see a number of vacant parking spaces on 23rd Street — something unheard of in a city where you can drive around for an hour in search of a parking spot. I did a quick left onto 23rd and promptly backed into one of the available spaces.

My wife and I then started walking toward the Lincoln Memorial, an easy trek compared to the exhausting walk we had endured for the 8/28 Restoring Honor rally when the closest parking we could find was at the Willard Hotel on 14th Street. As we walked toward the Lincoln Memorial, people wearing T-shirts emblazoned with logos and wording in keeping with the theme of the rally continued streaming by us in the opposite direction.

On arriving at the site the first thing I did was try to estimate the crowd size, which I’ve become pretty adept at. This particular case, however, was unusually difficult because of the nonstop flow of people leaving the event early. At any given time, however, I estimated that the density of the crowd ranged from one-fifth to one-tenth that of the Restoring Honor gathering.

At the Beck rally it was strictly shoulder-to-shoulder, virtually impossible to walk in most places. That crowd was no less than 500,000 — and perhaps as high as 750,000. But one of the many differences with the 8/28 event was that virtually everyone stayed until the rally was officially over. They were there by choice.

To be as fair as possible, I generously factored in the large number of people who had departed two hours or more before I arrived at the One Nation rally and came up with a crowd estimate of between 75,000 to 150,000 — far more than the 30,000 to 50,000 I had guessed might show up. Clearly, I had underestimated the power of union bosses handing down mandates to their rank and file to attend.

But to me the crowd size didn’t really matter, because they were two totally different events. Beck is just one individual — a radio and television personality — who produced a rally (primarily using his own money) with a theme of restoring honor to America and to honor fallen U.S. soldiers. By contrast, the 10/2 event was a political rally sponsored by a wide array of well-funded, far-left organizations.

The big question is not who had the largest crowd; that wasn’t even close. The more important question is why rally organizers like Al Sharpton would be so focused on trying to show the public they could outdraw a media personality.

To the crowd’s credit, though the signs and rhetoric were brazenly anti-freedom and anti-free market, people were generally well behaved, though clearly lacking in enthusiasm. To their discredit, however, trash was everywhere, which I have found to be a trademark of those on the left — especially the environmental crowd.

Again, by contrast, it was hard to find any trash on the ground at Beck’s 8/28 event. There are many conjectures I could draw from this observation, but due to space limitations, I’ll leave that psychological endeavor up to you.

Tabloid-size "newspapers" were all over the place. One was called The Militant, which featured the headline: "Public education is a birth right, not a corporate profit."

Another one, Challenge: The Revolutionary Communist Newspaper of Progressive Labor Party, sported a logo that read "Fight for Communism." Mind you, this was a rally called "One Nation Working Together" — in the capital city of the United States of America!

Then there were the signs:

* "Wages that are rightfully ours."
* "We demand $$$ for jobs and education."
* "The American Dream promises a free education."
* "Black Is Back."
* "Capitalism is failing. Socialism is the answer."

At one of the many tables where books were being sold I wrote down such titles as Bolshevism, What Is Marxism, The Communist Manifesto, Four Marxist Classics and Black Liberation and Socialism. Quite an array of reading material for an event titled "One Nation Working Together."

Then there were the pamphlets, with such patriotic verbiage as:

* "Fight for a Two-Year National Moratorium to Halt All Foreclosures and Evictions."
* "Jobs for All! Public-Works Program Now!"
* "Make the bosses pay for their crisis!"

I could fill a book with what I saw at the rally, but to me the bottom line is this: The Oct. 2 "One Nation Working Together" event was simply a celebration of that age-old disease, class warfare. Unwittingly, the hate peddlers who promoted it provided a public-service by letting us know they are still out there, alive and well. And they are poised and ready to bring down the American way of life — especially freedom and the free-market system.

As I walked back up 23rd Street after my short stay at the rally, the little security guard inside my brain whispered to me, "This was a reminder that America is irrevocably split into those who want to put a stop to the government’s policy of redistributing wealth and those who demand that the government use force to give them even more of other people’s wealth.

The latter group (which I estimate at nearly one-third of the current U.S. population) is fully prepared to sell their souls to a totalitarian regime in exchange for the "stuff" they think they deserve. I’m not sure how they define deserve, but it matters not. What does matter, sadly, is that they are nothing more than pawns in a power game that has existed probably since the Neolithic Age.

These pawns have long been referred to — by everyone from George Orwell to Alvin Toffler to Saul Alinsky — as the Have-Nots. This is what the "One Nation Working Together" rally was all about, nothing more and nothing less. It’s an old theme that will continue to be with us until the last breath of humankind has been extinguished.

And the truth that many people do not want to believe is that there is no solution to the problem. The only hope is containment. Right now, a majority of Americans are poised to push back and try to contain the radical left from bringing down the curtain on capitalism and individual sovereignty. But no matter what happens on Nov. 2, no one should be deluded into believing the war is over. The war will never be over.

Start preparing your mind now for what’s coming after Nov. 2, and teach your children what Ronald Reagan said back in 1964:
"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same."
After what I saw and heard in D.C. on Oct. 2, I can vouch for the Dutchman’s words.
Although many news agencies and networks claim that the picture below is of the 10/2 rally, in reality it is of the 8/28 rally.  The left is losing on all fronts and can only produce lies to feed the people.



On November 2nd the people will tell the leftist elites a loud message.

Barack Hussein Obama and the Code Pink Connection


And what do we have here? Through an email notice from Move America Forward, we find Barack Hussein Obama has ties to Code Pink and through Code Pink, to Hugo Chavez. Isn't that sweet.

Further, this particular connection is a campaign "bundler" for him, has been part of the reason Hollyweird has turned it's back on Hillary and gone to Barack Hussein Obama, and has generally been wreaking havoc for the campaign.

Her name is Jody Evans and she first appeared in reports from the Federal Elections Commission.


Melanie Morgan has a write up at World Net Daily here, entitled "Jeremiah Wright on Estrogen". Very interesting reading. Here's a teaser:
But American voters deserve to know the truth. So here are the words of Obama's reverend of the church of anti-Americanism, Jodie Evans, calling upon Iraqi insurgents and terrorists to resist U.S. troops and use violence to defeat the forces of the United States military:

The elite media might not yet be interested in the scandalous ties between one of the most prominent anti-American activists and Sen. Barack Hussein Obama, but I know someone who is.

On another note, a question arose regarding my previous post on Barack Hussein Obama and the many ways he has lied to the American people. There is speculation regarding whether or not Barack Hussein Obama is even eligible to hold the office of President. It seems his mother may have given birth to him in Kenya and then immediately boarded a plane to go to Hawaii to register his birth. She was apparently not allowed to board a plane immediately prior to his birth due to her advanced pregnancy.

I don't normally like using Wikipedia for reliable reference because it can be edited by anyone. However, I did find this regarding the natural born citizenship of a person born abroad to a one-citizen couple:
Through birth abroad to one United States citizen

In most cases, a person is a U.S. citizen if all of the following are true:

  1. One of his or her parents was a U.S. citizen at the time of the person in question's birth;
  2. The citizen parent lived at least 5 years in the United States before his or her child's birth; and
  3. At least 2 of these 5 years in the United States were after the citizen parent's 14th birthday (see note below).


A person's record of birth abroad, if registered with a U.S. consulate or embassy, is proof of his or her citizenship. Such a person may also apply for a passport or a Certificate of Citizenship to have his or her citizenship recognized.


Note: If born before November 14, 1986, a person is a citizen if his or her U.S. citizen parent lived in the U.S. for at least 10 years and 5 of those years in the U.S. were after the citizen parent's 14th birthday. The newer law does not apply retroactively.


Different rules apply for those born before December 24, 1952.

It would appear to me if he was indeed born in Kenya he may not be a natural citizen eligible for the Presidency. However, again, in a comment thread, I was informed of this:
Article II:
No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.


My husband was stationed in Germany from 1979-1982 and we were informed by the State Department that although any children born to us would be US citizens, they would not be eligible to become President, Vice President, Speaker of the House or Speaker Pro Tempt of the Senate since they would not be born in the US or its territories.
If anyone has anything more concrete to clear this up, I'd appreciate it and you can put it in the comment section.

An announcement that is obviously calling themselves "Funk the War:"

After many previous protests had found the 14th st recruiter “closed” at 5PM, Funk the War found them open, and the door unlocked at nearer to 6Pm and promptly exploited the situation by demonstrating to them first hand how an occupying force behaves.


After a loud commotion inside while outnumbered cops watched, recruiters finally managed to get protesters to leave-but not before literature and full-body length cardboard displays in the street window area were destroyed. In addition, hundreds more “Funk the War” stickers were plastered all over just about everything that would take them. By the time everyone was out it looked like a tornado had swept through the lobby.


One recruiter tried to grab an activist but found himself overpowered by SDS’s superior strength and numbers and had no choice but to give up!


This came on the heels of the whole group marching in K st and Connecticut Ave at the height of rush hour, closing War Profiteer’s Row to cars fro quite a while. The group closed out by going after DC GOP headquarters, but that door was locked and there were too many cops around to break it down.

Pass the word along, contact people you know who live in these areas and let's put patriotic American men and women out there in numbers to counter these people and send them home. If you live in other areas where you see this sort of thing happening, LET US KNOW and we'll make sure the word gets out.

Craziness....


Is it just me or has the world suddenly gone crazier than usual? Just over the past week, week and a half, there have been some outlandish stories.

For example:

Dutch Catholics Label Lent the "Christian Ramadan" to Encourage Self Denial. This was found at the Catholic News Agency here. Personally, I find it highly offensive to pollute Catholicism with the barbaric beliefs of islam--a false religion and societal ideology based upon the hallucinations and machinations of a misogynistic pedophile. There are two quotes that speak to the appeasement of this murderous cult:
"The image of the Catholic Lent must be polished. The fact that we use a Muslim term is related to the fact that Ramadan is a better-known concept among young people than Lent," said Vastenaktie Director, Martin Van der Kuil, told the Daily Telegraph.

Van der Kuil believed the name change would highlight similarities between Christianity and Islam.
This guy needs to go back to school and study up on his faith--there is no similarity between Catholicism and islam. None.

Then we have this little tidbit from BBC 24:

Council Ponders Lighting Turn Off found here. This bit of insanity has this as a lead in paragraph:

Council officials in Leicestershire are looking into plans to switch off some street lighting overnight in a bid to cut costs and fight global warming.
and:
Rural villages have been suggested as possible locations to trial the authority's proposals.
and:
"It's an idea worth pursuing because we're all very keen to cut down on electricity usage nd carbon pollution.
I'm sure the criminals are salivating over all those dark areas to facilitate their crime.

But wait! There's MORE!

Speaking of global warming...

From an AP article, "Mysterious Creatures Found in Antarctica" (here) we see this:
Australian experts taking part in an international program to take a census of marine life in the ocean at the far south of the world collected specimens from up to 6,500 feet beneath the surface, and said many may never have been seen before.
Sounds reasonable so far...however, it quickly goes "south" (pun intended) with this:
The expedition is part of an ambitious international effort to map life forms in the Antarctic Ocean, also known as the Southern Ocean, and to study the impact of forces such as climate change on the undersea environment.
and wraps up with this:
Scientists are planning a follow-up expedition in 10 to 15 years to examine the effects of climate changes on the region's environment.
Yet, in the SAME SECTION of AP news, we find THIS article, "Scientists Find Devil Toad Fossil" here:
But its size - 10 pounds and 16 inches long - isn't the only curiosity. Researchers discovered the creature's bones in Madagascar. Yet it seems to be a close relative of normal-sized frogs who today live half a world away in South America, challenging assumptions about ancient geography.
There's more:
It seems to be a relative of South American horned frogs, known scientifically as Ceratophrys. Popular as pets, they're sometimes called pacman frogs for their huge mouths.
And, the wrap up:

The family link raises a paleontology puzzle: Standard theory for how the continents drifted apart show what is now Madagascar would have been long separated by ocean from South America during Beelzebufo's time. And frogs can't survive long in salt water, Krause noted.

He contends the giant frog provides evidence for competing theories that some bridge still connected the land masses that late in time, perhaps via an Antarctica that was much warmer than today. (Emphasis mine).

No, we're not finished with global warming yet!


I see over at Spree's Wake Up America an article titled "Can Someone Turn Up the Global Warming Please? I'm Freezing Over Here!". This article is chock full of links regarding the false global warming nonsense and how it's being used to fleece the world. We see in her article (Actually, I think HCDL wrote this article--yep a double check shows he did) Jerusalem has snow, the ice sheets have nearlly recovered from their mini-melt that led to such dire predictions, record cold in Asia--in short, an extremely cold winter considering the world is in the middle of a man-made global warming, climate change disaster. Here's a few teasers from his article:

Scare mongering appears to be the case, according to reports from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that reveal that almost all the allegedly “lost” ice has come back. A NOAA report shows that ice levels which had shrunk from 5 million square miles in January 2007 to just 1.5 million square miles in October, are almost back to their original levels.

Moreover, a Feb. 18 report in the London Daily Express showed that there is nearly a third more ice in Antarctica than usual, challenging the global warming crusaders and buttressing arguments of skeptics who deny that the world is undergoing global warming.

and:

Did anyone hear that it's snowing in Jerusalem today, by the way? Not a very interesting news story, unless you factor in the fact that snow is a VERY unusual thing for the area. Five centimeters of snow were recorded in Jerusalem this morning, after a rare second cold front in less than a month's time came through the region, covering not only Jerusalem but the West Bank towns of Bethlehem and Hebron, while the Gaza Strip was covered by heavy rains.

Global warming causes snow in Israel? How very interesting indeed. What else is going on in the world in regards to rising temperatures?

The Daily Express reported yesterday that NOAA research shows that there is a third more ice in Antarctica this year than normal. The ice sheet between Canada and Greenland is higher than it has been in fifteen years. Snow and freezing weather have killed 120 people in Afghanistan. China has suffered snow storms so severe that migrant workers have been left stranded, transportation has suffered shut downs, there have been massive power outages over nearly half of 33 provinces due to coal shortages.

Global warming, right?

The article is great, you have GOT to go visit.


What other insanity? Well, we have Michelle Obama who, while wanting to be First Lady, has decided to follow in the footsteps of the trailer trash First Ladies such as Hillary (not the upper crust First Ladies with CLASS) by showing her true colors as to her feelings about America and how, at age 44, after a privileged life, Ivy League schools, nice home and family, she is only NOW proud of her country. Forget her color--or don't--but don't forget those blacks who came before who paved the way for her to get the education she received and all the accomplishments of Americans AND THIS GREAT COUNTRY in our history. It might have been understandable if 1) she was extremely tired and not paying attention to what she was saying; 2) just didn't think before opening her trap and inserting her foot and 3) she only said it once. HOWEVER--she said it TWICE. She needs better speechwriters. Better yet, she needs to shut up and sit down. If she wants to be a REAL First Lady instead of a trailer trash, big mouth wanna-be, she needs to shut up. Let her husband run his own damned campaign. Or is this their signal of another two-fer presidency? God help us.


Finally, the debacle in Berkley keeps getting better. I've seen this on a couple of blogs, a few emails and heard this on some talk radio shows. It seems the police in Berkley don't understand what "Protect and Serve" means. It seems several of the Code Pink whackos decided to cross the boundary lines into the Move America Forward boundaries. It also seems Code Pink whackos decided to physically assault some of the Move America Forward contingent. What do you expect from traitors, though? Our Move America Forward patriots stood firm and didn't degenerate into the violence Code Pink so obviously wanted. HOWEVER...oh you're going to love this boys and girls...THE POLICE STOOD BY WHILE THESE ASSAULTS WERE TAKING PLACE AND THEN PLACED THE MOVE AMERICA FORWARD PEOPLE UNDER ARREST--RATHER THAN THE CODE PINK ASSAULTERS. Personally, I'd be advising those assaulted to begin legal proceedings against the City of Berkley and the Berkley Police Department for dereliction of duty, false arrest, etc.


These are just some of the highlights of craziness...I'm sure if I wasn't so tired I'd be able to find many more examples of hypocrisy, greed, 180 degree turns and more evidence Berkley needs to be surrounded by a 15 foot high spiked fence with no entrance or exits for the animals in that zoo. CALL TO ACTION: Patriots Converge

Patriots across the Nation have received the following via email...

CALL TO ACTION

Move America Forward, is calling on patriotic Americans from near and far to come to Berkeley, California and join us for a protest of the Berkeley City Council - in response to their recent efforts to silence the Marines and chase all vestiges of the military out of their city. Remember, the City Council called the Marines, "unwelcome intruders" and accused them of commiting acts of "barbarity."

Well now the rest of America will be heard from this Tuesday, February 12th when we organize a giant pro-America rally to protest the Berkeley City Council when they gather for their City Council meeting.

The City Council meeting takes place at 7:00 PM at 2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Berkeley, CA.

Move America Forward is asking people to show up by 5:00 PM if possible - so we have a crowd gathered in time for the media crews, and so we can secure seats for supporters inside the City Council Chambers.

(Note: Since the media will be covering this story all day, we'll have Move America Forward staffers outside the City Council chambers beginning at 5:00 AM. We'd sure like it if some of you could either join us for brief periods of time throughout the day, or join us for our all day pro-troop vigil!)

Again - the pro-troop/anti-Berkeley City Council rally takes place on Tuesday, February 12th, outside of their City Council Chambers. We're asking people to join us by 5:00 PM if possible. The address: 2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Berkeley, CA. You can get a map of the location - HERE.

Berkeley CA Is Toast And Here Is Why

Berkeley clerk to Marine Corps: You're Not Welcome

BERKELEY, Calif. Local officials in this liberal city say it's time for the U.S. Marines to move out.

The City Council has voted to tell the Marines their downtown recruiting station is not welcome and 'if recruiters choose to stay, they do so as uninvited and unwelcome guests.'

The measure passed this week by a vote of 8-1.

Now check this out, here is a letter a businessman wrote to the Mayor of Berkeley. Is this a great country or what?

Dear Mayor Bates,

In that my company is in international resort real estate development, and do business with and am associated with, developers and investors worldwide, I am informing all of my contacts, associates and patrons that we will no longer do any business of any sort with anyone living in the Berkeley area.

In that we/MDG Resorts are currently building a state of the art mega-yacht marina, all of the suppliers of Marina equipment, all owners of Yachts, all suppliers of Yacht materials & supplies, all yacht brokers and all tangential yacht business purveyors will likewise be informed that we will not do any business whatsoever with anyone from the Berkeley area.

Likewise all suppliers of building materials, both interior and exterior, currently associated with any of our several resort developments (Brisamar 300+ villas and 200+ condos: Porto Hussong, 500+ condos, 180 slip mega-yacht marina) both of which I might add have international recognition by virtue of glowing reports in Robb Report, Wall Street Journal, Yacht World, Forbes.

I will likewise inform all of our investors, most of whom are very wealthy yacht owners, casino owners, high net worth international businessmen, of our decision to essentially boycott all products and providers located in, or associated with in any way whatsoever, Berkeley, Ca.

Trust me when I say that having been in the real estate development business for over 35 years, our list of contacts and associates is long and very, very impressive. We, and I personally, are going to recomend that they ALL along with us boycott your city, its purveyors, suppliers, and businesses and CHARITIES of every kind.

You have every right to choose to take the obnoxious anti-military stance you have taken, and as stated, that right was bought for you with the blood of better men than you.

I too have every right to do all that I can to insure that your city suffers consequences arising from that obnoxious, sickening stance.

Our company has just completed an analysis of the funds we have spent during 2007 within the city limits of Berkeley. The number was larger than I expected: $230,716. This amount is broken down in the following categories:

Meals and meeting expenses: $43,807; Printing, copies and imaging services: $36,954. Shipping expenses $18,534; temporary employment $103,954; Office supplies and equipment purchases: $27,467.

Our expenses above in Berkeley increased by about 12% this past year. We have budgeted a similar increase for 2008.

Because of the actions of "CodePink" and the Berkeley City Council we find that we must now exercise our 'freedom to act' and not do business within the City of Berkeley any longer. Over the next five years, the City of Berkeley will lose just from our organization from $1.4 to $1.7 million in business.

We will still grow our business successfully but we will fulfill our service needs, including meals and meeting expenses, at locations OTHER THAN BERKELEY. We are also encouraging our colleagues and business associates to do the same. Many will not be as direct as we are in communicating to you our actions.

While we regret that this action will hurt many worthy individuals and businesses in Berkeley, we are sure to gain a more friendly business environment elsewhere as our business continues to thrive. Gee, ain't freedom and free markets great?

What's More Important-The Message or the Photoshop?

There is quite a brouhaha brewing at another site about this picture. It basically comes down to this: The picture is a photoshop illustration and was revealed as such at "Axis of Right" and "The Two Malcontents".

However. The underlying message is quite accurate.

This group of pale communists (pink being the lighter shade of red) aligns themselves with the likes of Pelosi, ReidCo, Murtha and the looniest nut of them all, Sheehan.

Sheehan, who would jump into bed with Hugo Chavez if given a chance.

These nutbitches think nothing of espousing murder. After all, they supported Pelosi until Pelosi didn't do what they wanted in "shutting down the war".

If it's bad for America and appeases zealot fanatics, which will lead to wholesale slaughter, these bitches are for it.
