Obamination: Civilian Trials for Terrorists

When President Obama signed the "Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011.", he made a statement which merits critical analysis.   Two crucial quotes from that statement  are reproduced below, with my  commentary.

Section 1032 bars the use of funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act for fiscal year 2011 to transfer Guantanamo detainees into the United States,[...] Section 1032 represents a dangerous and unprecedented challenge to critical executive branch authority to determine when and where to prosecute Guantanamo detainees, based on the facts and the circumstances of each case and our national security interests.  The prosecution of terrorists in Federal court is a powerful tool in our efforts to protect the Nation and must be among the options available to us.  Any attempt to deprive the executive branch of that tool undermines our Nation's counterterrorism efforts and has the potential to harm our national security.

President Obama complains that republicans defunded transfer of unlawful enemy combatants to the mainland for trial in civilian courts. He asserts that authority to decide where and how to prosecute those detainees is critical.

The President and Attorney General decided to try Khalid Sheikh  Mohammad in a civilian federal court in New York City.  The resulting uproar over issues of security, expense and psychological trauma to the survivors compelled  reconsideration of that idiotic and treasonous decision, which was delayed until after the general election for partisan political considerations.

The rights and privileges of citizens apply to citizens, they do not apply to unlawful enemy combatants who plotted attacks in the safety of sanctuaries provided by states with regimes inimical to the U.S.   The presumption of innocence, right to counsel, swift trial, confrontation of witnesses and discovery are intended to maximize individual liberty.  They are the best means we have of preventing the protector from morphing into a predator.

K.S.M. and his co-defendants are not charged with jay walking, petty theft or consumer fraud.  They plotted an act of war designed to maximize civilian casualties, inflict extreme economic damage and strike the first blow in a war to destroy this nation.  They authored and signed a confession of their guilt in which they revealed why they acted as they did and took pride in the act. Their confession was submitted to a military tribunal and is part of the record.  I have extracted the quote below from the opening paragraphs of that document of damnation, adding emphasis to make the obvious stand out so that even LibTards can perceive it.

In the Name ofAllah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
The 9/11 Shura' Council
Many thanks to God who revealed the Torah, the Bible, and the Quran, and may God praise his
messenger, the prophet Mohamed, so that he causes mercy to the two realms. Also, may God praise
the prophet's household, his entire companionship, and his followers until judgment day.
With regards to these nine accusations that you are putting us on trial for; to us, they are not
accusations. To us they are badges of honor, which we carry with pride. Many thanks to God, for his
kind gesture, and choosing us to perform the act of Jihad for his cause and to defend Islam and Muslims.
Therefore, killing you and fighting you, destroying you and terrorizing you, responding back to your
attacks, are all considered to be great legitimate duty in our religion. These actions are our offerings to
God. In addition, it is the imposed reality on Muslims in Palestine, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, in the
land of the two holy sites [Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia], and in the rest of the world, where
Muslims are suffering from your brutality, terrorism, killing of the innocent, and occupying their lands
and their holy sites. Nevertheless, it would have been the greatest religious duty to fight you over your
infidelity. However, today, we fight you over defending Muslims, their land, their holy sites, and their
religion as a whole.

How in Hell can any American citizen know this without cursing and disrespectfully  demanding the immediate death & damnation of the signatories to that document?  The citizen who can refrain must be deemed a traitor to the nation and to the human race.

Trial in federal court?  Trial in a military tribunal?  Hell No!!! Tie them and dump them from a helicopter into the holding tank of a hog farm.  As for those who want to try them, tar, feathers and a ride out of the country on a rail.

With respect to section 1033, the restrictions on the transfer of detainees to the custody or effective control of foreign countries interfere with the authority of the executive branch to make important and consequential foreign policy and national security determinations regarding whether and under what circumstances such transfers should occur in the context of an ongoing armed conflict.  We must have the ability to act swiftly and to have broad flexibility in conducting our negotiations with foreign countries.

The President just declared catch & release to be a vital national interest.  What receiving nation has a program to incarcerate or execute those unlawful combatants?  Which of them will not release the miscreants to return to the battlefield?

The President and Attorney General must be impeached and removed from office for treason.

Campaign to Impeach President Obama

I assumed that President Barack Hussein Obama would finish his first term in office before the commencement of any campaign to impeach him. I expected that he would be half way through his first term before it would happen. I was wrong. Today I opened an email from the Impeach Obama Campaign, a program of the Policy Issues Institute . The email explained why the President should be impeached and urged me to click this link to read the Articles of Impeachment and give my assent to them.

Floyd Brown, the email's author, has Impeachment campaign experience. Judging by the email, a great deal of passion is invested in this campaign, but not enough proof reading.

The campaign is distilled down to two articles of impeachment, which accuse President Obama of the following listed impeachable acts.

  • unlawfully exercised the authority of his office to take private property for public use in violation of the Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution, which guarantees to the People that “private property shall not be taken for public use without just compensation,” and without “due process of law”;
  • unlawfully interfered with the management of private companies for the purpose of achieving government control of them, in violation of the Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution.
  • unlawfully interfered with the economic rights of the People by imposing unreasonable impairments in the fulfillment of their intended contractual obligations, and their ability to enter into such contracts, and attempting to change our fundamental economic system, where there is no significant or legitimate public purpose to do so.
  • unlawfully engaged in a conspiracy to suppress evidence of the true place of his birth. This obstruction of justice has resulted in a violation of the Constitutional provision that a President of the United States must be a natural born citizen.
  • Unlawfully refused his assent to the Laws of the United States, and exercised false powers of veto that are contrary to Constitution.
The first three charges, associated with the "bail out" & "stimulus", seem to be substantial and provable. The two charges in the second article seem more problematic. I can't imagine that the House of Representatives, with its solid Democrat Party majority, will accept the charge of conspiring to suppress evidence of his place of birth. I fail to make the connection with the last charge and any current event.

I entertain serious doubt that the impeachment campaign can bear full fruit, but, if it flowers into a full campaign with substantial popular support, it may weaken the Obama administration sufficiently to save some of our liberties. I have therefore added my endorsement and suggest that other Conservatives read the Articles of Impeachment and consider signing on to them.

Obamination: Ramadan Treason

President Obama's Ramadan message includes the usual boiler plate treason. I have selected some exemplary dissembling for refutation.
  • "These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common"
The implication is both overly broad and false. Islam does not share any principles with Western Civilization. Next time, list them and submit proof that Muslims share them. I won't hold my breath while I wait for that list and evidence.
  • lslam's role in advancing justice, progress,. tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings
Nothing could be further from the truth. Reliance of the Traveller, Book O, Chapter 9, Paragraphs 8 &9 charge the Caliph with the duty of attacking Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians & Pagans at least once in every year. Those laws are based on Surahs At-Taubah & Al-Anfal of the Qur'an. Exactly how does that advance justice, tolerance & dignity?

Chapter 11, Paragraph 5, says of dhimmis:
  • 2- are distinguished from Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);
  • 3- are not greeted with "as-Salamu 'alaykum";

  • -4- must keep to the side of the street;

  • -5- may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims' buildings, though if they acquire a tall house, it is not razed;

  • -6- are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays;
  • -7- and are forbidden to build new churches.

Exactly how do those laws advance justice, tolerance & dignity?

  • "For instance, fasting is a concept shared by many faiths - including my own Christian faith - as a
way to bring; people closer to God, and to those among us who cannot take their next meal for
granted. And the support that Muslims provide to others
    recalls our responsibility to advance
opportunity and prosperity for people everywhere. For all of us must remember that the world we
want to build - and the changes that we Want to make - must begin in our own hearts, and our
    own communities."
Note the clause which I emphasized: Islamic law forbids giving Zakat to Kufar. Refer to Reliance of the Traveller H8.24.
  • It is not permissible to give zakat to a non-Muslim, or to someone whom one is obliged to support (def: m12.1), such as a wife or family member.
President Obama conflates charity & universal benevolence with Socialism and at the same time, mixing domestic policy with foreign.
  • "Beyond America' borders. we are also committed to keeping our responsibility to build a world
that is more peaceful and secure. That is why we are responsibly ending the war in Iraq."
The invasion of Iraq could only increase peace & security by rendering Iraq unIslamic. Iraq & Afghanistan will be threats to peace & security so long as their people and governments are Islamic. By leaving Iraq with Islam still in place, we decrease peace and security below the level pertaining before the invasion.
  • 'That is why we are isolating violent extremists while empowering the people in places like Afghanistan
    and Pakistan."
"Violent extremists" is a shibboleth designed to draw our attention away from the fatal fact of intrinsic violence in Islam.. Islamic Jihad, terrorism & genocide result from intrinsic scriptural doctrines & traditional example, not from 'extremists'. The difference between 'extremists' and 'the people' is zeal. Violence is a function of intensity of belief & zealotry. We can't isolate them because we can't identify them. Besides, zealotry can increase spontaneously or as a result of aggressive sermons at the local Mosque.
  • "That is why we are unyielding in our support for a two-state solution that
recognizes the rights of Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace and security."
Israelis are Palestinians. Palestinians are Jews . The so called Palestinians President Obama refers to are undifferentiated Arabs seeking to reconquer Israel demographically and militarily. State or no state, so long as there are Muslims within rocket range of Israel, Israel will not obtain peace or security no matter what she does. Israel's existence is an offense to Muslims because her land was conquered by Caliph Umar in 638. Allah promised Muslims victory and dominance over the region. By reclaiming her land, Israel proves Allah to be an impotent idol. Muslims can't tolerate that! Muslims will continue to attack Israel until they are successfully in reconquest or Israel ushers them into hell. There is nothing we can do about it.
  • " And that is why America will always stand for the universal rights of all people to speak their mind, practice their
    religion
, contribute fully to society and have confidence in the rule of law."
I emphasized the problematic phrase in that sentence. Islam requires Jihad, genocide & terrorism. It is not possible to fully practice Islam without engaging in them until their world conquest is completed. If they have a right to practice Islam, then we have no right to live; no human dignity.
  • All of these efforts are a part of America' commitment to engage Muslims and Muslim-majority
nations on the basis of mutual interest and mutual respect.
Idiocy & treason are in the emphasized phrase. Islam has no respect for Kufar. To Muslims, we are rebels against Allah, and they are duty bound to defeat us and gather us together into Hell, the worst of living creatures. We have no mutual interest with Muslims! Their interest is world conquest, ours is peace, security and prosperity. We have nothing in common.
  • "And at this time of renewal, I want to reiterate my commitment to a new beginning between America and Muslims around the world,"
How about a new beginning between lambs and lions? When will lions quit eating lambs? That is when Islam will quit Jihad. Two classes of people say otherwise: damned fools and traitors. Islam is a predatory institution; we need to call it what it is. We need to call those who deny that fatal fact what they are. Intellectual honesty and moral clarity require us to do that.
  • From around the world, we have received an outpouring of feedback about how America can be a partner on behalf of peoples' aspirations.
Islam is about enrichment and empowerment through the profession of piracy. Islam seeks total world domination by conquest. That is their only aspiration. Any occidental who seeks to facilitate Islamic world conquest is a traitor! Why Jihad? Because that is how Moe derived his income! Read 8:1, 8:41 & 8:67 and get a clue. The fatal fact of mercenary motivation is confirmed by hadith: When Allah made the Prophet wealthy through conquests, while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand .

Lest We Forget...

South Carolina voters came out and voted for Barack HUSSEIN Obama in overwhelming numbers. It was, however, a divisive vote, with the majority of his voters being black. Okay--he at least inspired people to get out and vote and that's a good thing.

However...lest we forget...

This is a man who wants to have tea with tyrants--and these tyrants at least have the wherewithal to fake some sort of respect by wearing a lapel flag. Where's Obama's? It's MIA because he doesn't feel the need to show any kind of respect or patriotism to the country he wants to lead.

Then, of course, there is this--at least Hillary fakes her respect by properly placing her hand over whatever substitutes for a heart in the area most commonly associated with the human organ (her membership in the species homo sapiens is questionable). Where are Obama's hands?

Tea with tyrants and no respect for the symbols of the country he wants to lead. Forget his drug use, how about his muslim ties? Oh, I heard his little apologetics speech, but that doesn't settle the question. Particularly in light of his constant appeasement of islam in the name of "getting along".

This man is dangerous, folks. Pull your heads out and don't be fooled. Dorian Gray sold his soul to look appealing all his life as well.

And yes, like my friend Snooper, I question all of the democratic candidates patriotism--as well as the patriotism of the entire party.

Barack Obama Strikes Back

Cross posted from Wake up America

Yesterday we discussed how the Clinton's continue to dig holes for themselves, (this one by trying to be subtle and using Obama's race, which offended many in the black community) then when trying to do damage control, end up digging it a little deeper.

Now we see, via Huffington Post, a memo that Amaya Smith, SC press secretary for Obama has sent out, listing items of the Clinton's and/or Clinton "surrogates" have, indeed, used the race issue in the same breath as they deny that they would ever use such tactics:

Subject: MUST READ: Key S.C. figure takes issue with Clintons

SHUCK AND JIVE

Clinton Supporter Andrew Cuomo, Referring To Obama, Said "You Can't Shuck And Jive At A Press Conference. All Those Moves You Can Make With The Press Don't Work When You're In Someone's Living Room." Clinton-supporting New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said the thing that's great about New Hampshire is that you have to go out and meet people rather than "shuck and jive" through press conferences there. Cuomo said of New Hampshire on an
Albany radio station: "It's not a TV-crazed race. Frankly, you can't buy your way into it. You can't shuck and jive at a press conference. All those moves you can make with the press don't work when you're in someone's living room." [Newsday, 1/11/08]

MARTIN LUTHER KING / LYNDON JOHNSON COMPARISON

Clinton, Criticizing Obama For Promising "False Hope" Said That While MLK Jr. Spoke On Behalf Of Civil Rights, President Lyndon Johnson Was The One Who Got Legislation Passed: "It Took A President To Get It Done." Clinton rejoined the running argument over hope and "false hope" in an interview in Dover this afternoon, reminding Fox's Major Garrett that while Martin Luther King Jr. spoke on behalf of civil rights, President Lyndon Johnson was the one who got the legislation passed. Hillary was asked about Obama's rejoinder that there's something vaguely un-American about dismissing hopes as false, and that it doesn't jibe with the careers of figures like John F. Kennedy and King. "Dr. King's dream began to be realized when President
Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act," Clinton said. "It took a president to get it done." [Politico, 1/7/08; Video]

Clinton Introducer Said JFK Gave Hope, But Was Assassinated. Clinton introducer: "If you look back, some people have been comparing one of the other candidates to JFK and he was a wonderful leader, he gave us a lot of hope but he was assassinated and Lyndon Baines Johnson actually did all his work and got the republicans to pass all those measures." [HRC, Dover, NH,
1/7/08] AUDIO ATTACHED

NELSON MANDELA

Bill Clinton Implied Hillary Clinton Is Stronger Than Nelson Mandela. "I have been blessed in my life to know some of the greatest figures of the last hundred years. [...] I go to Nelson Mandela's birthday party every year and we're still very close. [...] But if you said to me, 'You've got one last job for your country but it's hazardous and you may not get out with life and limb intact and you have to do it alone except I'll let you take one other person, and I had to pick one person whom I knew who would never blink, who would never turn back, who would make great decisions [...] I would pick Hillary.'" [ABC News, 1/7/08; Audio]

DRUG USE

Clinton's NH Campaign Chair Raised The Youthful Drug Use Of Obama And Said It Would "Open The Door To Further Queries On The Matter." Clinton's Campaign Issued A Statement Distancing Themselves From Shaheen's Comments And Shaheen Issued A Statement Saying That He "Deeply Regret[s] The Comments." The Democratic presidential race took on a decidedly nasty and personal turn, with the New Hampshire co-chair for Clinton, raising the
youthful drug use of Obama. Shaheen said Obama's having been so open -- as opposed to then-Gov. George W. Bush, who refused to detail his past drug use during his 2000 presidential campaign -- will "open the door to further queries on the matter. It'll be, 'When was the last time? Did you ever give drugs to anyone? Did you sell them to anyone?'" Shaheen said. "There are so many openings for Republican dirty tricks. It's hard to overcome." By the end of the day, Clinton campaign spokesman Phil Singer had issued a statement asserting that "these comments were not authorized or condoned by the campaign in any way." And Shaheen himself issued a statement: "I deeply regret the comments I made today and they were not authorized by the
campaign in any way." [ABC News, 12/12/07]

Mark Penn, In Trying To Defend His Campaign Over Bill Shaheen's Obama Drug Use Comments, Used The Word "Cocaine," Drawing A Rebuke From Edwards Adviser Joe Trippi. Mark Penn, defending the Clinton campaign in light of Bill Shaheen's comments about Obama's drug use, repeatedly referenced Obama's cocaine use. Edwards adviser Joe Trippi accused Penn of dropping the word "cocaine" deliberately. Mark Penn said "Well, I think we have made clear
that the -- the issue related to cocaine use is not something that the campaign was in any way raising. And I think that has been made clear. I think this kindergarten thing was a joke after Senator." Joe Trippie responded and said "I think he just did it again. He just did it again. ...
This guy's been filibustering on this. He just said cocaine again."
[Politico, 12/13/07; Video]

FAIRY TALE

Donna Brazile Lashed Into Bill Clinton For Comparing Obama To A "Fairy Tale" And Said "It's An Insult... As An African-American" And That His Tone And Words Are "Very Depressing." Donna Brazile lit into Bill Clinton over his insulting comments of Obama, where he called him a "fairy tale" and said "I could understand his frustration at this moment. But, look, he shouldn't
take out all his pain on Barack Obama. It's time that they regroup. Figure out what Hillary needs to do to get her campaign back on track. It sounds like sour grapes coming from the former commander in chief. Someone that many Democrats hold in high esteem. For him to go after Obama, using a fairy tale, calling him as he did last week. It's an insult. And I will tell you,
as an African-American, I find his tone and his words to be very depressing. ... I think his tone, I think calling Barack Obama a kid, he is a United States senator." [Politico, 1/8/08]

Amaya Smith
South Carolina Press Secretary
Obama for America

John Edwards has even jumped into the mix, coming down on Obama's side, yet again:

In a sign of how the issue was churning the waters, Mr. Edwards, also speaking at a church in South Carolina, expressed pride in Mr. Obama while criticizing Mrs. Clinton for what some have seen as her suggesting that President Lyndon B. Johnson deserved more credit than Dr. King for the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

“As someone who grew up in the segregated South, I feel an enormous amount of pride when I see the success that Senator Barack Obama is having in this campaign,” said Mr. Edwards, who grew up in North Carolina. He added: “I was troubled recently to see a suggestion that real change came not through the Rev. Martin Luther King, but through a Washington politician. I fundamentally disagree with that.”

The Clinton's have a long history of attacking, sometimes in a subtle manner and other times not so subtle, then crying that they are victims... people used to fall for it, they aren't anymore because that game gets old after a while.

Spokeswoman for Barack Obama, Candice Tolliver, had this to say "A cross-section of voters are alarmed at the tenor of some of these statements. There’s a groundswell of reaction to these comments — and not just these latest comments but really a pattern, or a series of comments that we’ve heard for several months. Folks are beginning to wonder: Is this really an isolated situation, or is there something bigger behind all of this?"

If this were just Obama and his campaign saying this, it would be chalked up to politics as usual, but many in the black community have come out and publicly taken offense.

Jesse Jackson has taken issue with their remarks and this tactic and said in a statement "Following Barack Obama’s victory in Iowa and historic voter turnout in New Hampshire. the cynics unfortunately have stepped up their efforts to decry his uplifting message of hope and fundamental change."

Jim Clyburnone, of the leading Democrats in South Carolina and a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, that expressed "disappointment" in the Clinton campaign.

Representative Bakari Sellers a 23-year-old legislator says he is angry about Clinton's remarks "I think those comments were insensitive. I think they showed a lack of concern about the struggles of African-Americans. I thought those comments were inappropriate."

South Carolina's largest newspaper, The State:

Sharp criticism of Barack Obama and other comments about Martin Luther King Jr. — all from people associated with Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign — have generated resentment among some black S.C. voters.

The gloves are off, the fight has just begun and this issue isn't going anywhere fast, it is going to stay front and center and it appears that it is going to get much nastier before all is said and done.

The days where the Clinton's get a free pass, are over, and rightly so.

Way to go Obama YOU MORON!

While I was doing some housekeeping on the site tonight, a

fellow blogger, Snooper, came across with this story. I found it here, at the ABC Blotter:

Legal experts and security officials met with Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf Thursday, as the government weighed whether to invoke a state of emergency for what it said were mounting "external and internal" threats, officials said.

Tariq Azim, minister of state for information, said talk from the United States about the possibility of U.S. military action against al-Qaida in Pakistan "has started alarm bells ringing and has upset the Pakistani public." He mentioned Democratic presidential hopeful Barak Obama by name as an example of someone who made such comments, saying his recent remarks were one reason the government was debating a state of emergency.

The rest of the story gives the usual leftist spin this is a power ploy by Musharraf to keep control of the populace by invoking martial law under the guise of protecting the people from terrorists already in Pakistan.

Maybe, maybe not.

Whatever Musharraf's motivations are, (define "IS"), the fact is a presidential wannabe is mentioned specifically as one of perhaps many direct causes for internal unease in a shaky ally country. BY NAME. BECAUSE OF HIS IRRESPONSIBLE STATEMENTS in a cat fight with the queen pu**y herself.

He has less experience in the ways of schoolyard bullies (not to mention worldwide madmen) than my kids. But he wants to "lead" (read: CONTROL) this country.

He can't control his outbursts. But he wants to "lead" this country.

He doesn't think about the drivel coming out of his mouth regarding who he'll meet with. But he wants to "lead" this country.

He reacts to a cattle prod wielded by billary without thinking of the consequences of his actions and/or words. But he wants to "lead" this country.

He obviously doesn't understand the new media--your words are forever recorded against you, good or bad, for all of posterity. And those words carry consequences--sometimes reverberating around the world.

But he wants to "lead" this country.

He wants to have tea with the worst dictators of all time, associating himself with them in people's minds. He expects to be able to lie down with these dogs and not have the fleas attach themselves to him when he gets up. He expects the masses of those countries, those that have felt the boots upon their necks, NOT to make the connection he considers these dogs as "friends"--and by being their "friend" he most likely will work to annihilate them--thereby negating any hope of winning the hearts and minds of these masses in any attempt at foreign policy.

But he wants to "lead" this country.

His brand of "leadership" we don't need. We are trying to win hearts and minds, help blossoming countries along the way to the freedoms they so richly deserve. It won't be possible if he's elected for his words will, WILL come back to haunt him.

As will his actions in having a hand in Pakistan's current panic of a threat from the US.

And he wants to "lead" the country.

God help us if the voters are stupid enough to vote him in.
