Obamination: Labor Day

Obamination: Labor Day

Remarks by the President at Detroit Labor Day Event

GM Plant Parking Lot

Detroit, Michigan

1:30 P.M. EDT

THE PRESIDENT:  Thank you, Detroit!  (Applause.)  Thank you, Michigan!  (Applause.)  Oh, this is a --

AUDIENCE:  Four more years!

THE PRESIDENT:  Thank you.  (Applause.)  Thank you, everybody.  It is --

AUDIENCE:  Four more years!  Four more years!  Four more years!

THE PRESIDENT:  Thank you, everybody.  Thank you.

AUDIENCE:  Four more years!  Four more years!  Four more years!

THE PRESIDENT:  Thank you.  Thank you, everybody.  I can tell Ghana got you fired up.  (Applause.)  Thank you, Ghana, for that introduction.  Thank you all for having me.  It is good to be back in Detroit.  (Applause.)  I'm glad I was able to bring a friend -- a proud daughter of the Teamsters, your Secretary of Labor, Hilda Solis, in the house.  (Applause.)

We’re thrilled to be joined by so many other friends.  I want to acknowledge, first of all, two of the finest senators in the country -- Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow are in the house. (Applause.)   Outstanding members of the congressional delegation -- John Bingham, John Conyers, Sandy Levin, Gary Peters, and Hansen Clarke.  (Applause.)

The president of the Metropolitan Detroit Central Labor Council, our host, Saundra Williams.  (Applause.)  AFL-CIO president, Rich Trumka.  (Applause.)  President of the Michigan AFL-CIO, Mark Gaffney.  (Applause.)  And some proud sons and daughters of Michigan representing working people here and across the country -- SEIU President Mary Kay Henry, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa, UAW President Bob King, Utility Workers President Mike Langford.  (Applause.)  We are proud of them and we're proud of your congressional delegation who are working every single day with your state and local elected officials to create jobs and economic growth and prosperity here in Michigan and all across the country1.

I am honored, we are honored, to spend this day with you and your families -- the working men and women of America.  This day belongs to you.  You deserve a little R&R, a little barbecue -- (laughter) -- little grilling -- because you’ve been working hard.  (Applause.)  You’ve been working hard to make ends meet.  You’ve been working hard to build a better life for your kids.  You’ve been working hard2 to build a better Detroit.  (Applause.) But that’s not all I’m going to talk to you about.

I also want to talk about the work you’ve been doing for decades:  Work to make sure that folks get an honest day’s pay for an honest day’s work3.  (Applause.)  Work to make sure that families get a fair4 shake.  The work you've done that helped build the greatest middle class the world has ever known.  (Applause.)  I’m talking about the work that got us a 40-hour workweek and weekends, and paid leave and pensions, and the minimum wage5 and health insurance, and Social Security and  Medicare6 -- (applause) -- the cornerstones of middle-class security.  That's because of your work.  (Applause.)

If you want to know who helped lay these cornerstones of an American middle class you just have to look for the union label. (Applause.)

That’s the bedrock this country is built on.  Hard work.  Responsibility.  Sacrifice.  Looking out for one another.  Giving everybody a shot, everybody a chance to share in America’s prosperity7, from the factory floor to the boardroom.  That’s what unions are all about.  (Applause.)

And that’s something that’s worth keeping in mind today.  We’ve come through a difficult decade in which those values were all too often given short shrift.  We’ve gone through a decade where wealth was valued over work8, and greed was valued over responsibility9.  And the decks were too often stacked against ordinary folks10 in favor of the special interests11.  And everywhere I went while I was running for this office, I met folks who felt their economic security12 slipping away, men and women who were fighting harder and harder just to stay afloat.  And that was even before the economic crisis hit, and that just made things even harder.

So these are tough times for working Americans13.  They’re even tougher for Americans who are looking for work –- and a lot of them have been looking for work for a long time14.  A lot of folks have been looking for work for a long time here in Detroit, and all across Michigan, and all across the Midwest, and all across the country.  So we’ve got a lot more work to do to recover fully from this recession.

But I’m not satisfied just to get back to where we were before the recession; we’ve got to fully restore the middle class in America.  (Applause.)  And America cannot have a strong, growing economy without a strong, growing middle class and without a strong labor movement15.  (Applause.)

That’s the central challenge that we face in our country today.  That’s at the core of why I ran for President.  That’s what I’ve been fighting for since I’ve been President.  (Applause.)  Everything we’ve done, it’s been thinking about you. We said working folks deserved a break -- so within one month of me taking office, we signed into law the biggest middle-class tax cut in history16, putting more money into your pockets.  (Applause.)

We said working folks shouldn’t be taken advantage of -- so we passed tough financial reform that ended the days of taxpayer bailouts17, and stopped credit card companies from gouging you with hidden fees and unfair rate hikes, and set up a new consumer protection agency with one responsibility:  sticking up for you. (Applause.)

We said that if you’re going to work hard all day to provide a better life for your kids, then we’re going to make sure that those kids get the best education possible.  So we helped keep teachers on the job18.  (Applause.)  We’re reforming our public schools, and we’re investing in community colleges and job-training programs.  (Applause.)  And we ended wasteful giveaways that went to the big banks and used the savings to make college more affordable for millions of your kids19.  (Applause.)

We said that every family in America should have affordable, accessible health care20.  (Applause.)  We said you shouldn’t be discriminated against because you’ve got a preexisting condition21. We said young adults without insurance should be able to stay on their parents’ plans.  We got that done -- for you.  (Applause.)

And here’s what else we said, Detroit.  We said that American autoworkers could once again build the best cars in the world.  (Applause.)  So we stood by the auto industry22.  And we made some tough choices that were necessary to make it succeed.  And now, the Big Three are turning a profit and hiring new workers, and building the best cars in the world right here in Detroit, right here in the Midwest, right here in the United States of America.  (Applause.)

I know it.  I’ve seen it.  I’ve been to GM’s Hamtramck plant.  (Applause.)  I’ve been to Chrysler’s Jefferson North Plant.  (Applause.)   I’ve seen Detroit prove the cynics and the naysayers wrong.

We didn’t just stop there.  We said American workers could manufacture the best products in the world.  So we invested in high-tech manufacturing and we invested in clean energy23.  And right now, there’s an advanced battery industry taking root here in Michigan that barely existed before.  (Applause.)  Half of the workers at one plant in Detroit were unemployed before a new battery company came to town.  And we’re growing our exports so that more of the world buys products that are stamped with three simple words:  “Made in America.”  (Applause.)

So that’s what we’re fighting for, Michigan.  We’re fighting for good jobs with good wages.  We’re fighting for health care when you get sick.  We’re fighting for a secure retirement even if you’re not rich.  We’re fighting for the chance to give our kids a better life than we had.  That’s what we’re doing to restore middle-class security and rebuild this economy the American way -- based on balance and fairness and the same set of rules for everybody from Wall Street to Main Street.  (Applause.) An economy where hard work pays off and gaming the system doesn’t pay off, and everybody has got a shot at the American Dream.  That’s what we’re fighting for.  (Applause.)

On Thursday, we’re going to lay out a new way forward on jobs to grow the economy and put more Americans back to work right now.  I don’t want to give everything away right here, because I want you all to tune in on Thursday -- (applause) -- but I'll give you just a little bit.  (Applause.)

We’ve got roads and bridges24 across this country that need rebuilding.  We’ve got private companies with the equipment and the manpower to do the building.  We’ve got more than 1 million unemployed construction workers25 ready to get dirty right now.  There is work to be done and there are workers ready to do it.  Labor is on board.  Business is on board.  We just need Congress to get on board.  Let’s put America back to work26.  (Applause.)

Last year, we worked together, Republicans and Democrats, to pass a payroll tax cut27.  And because of that, this year the average family has an extra $1,000 in their pocket because of it.

AUDIENCE MEMBER:  Thank you!

THE PRESIDENT:  But that’s going to expire in a few months if we don’t come together to extend it.  And I think putting money back in the pockets of working families is the best way to get demand rising, because that then means business is hiring, and that means the government28 -- that means that the economy is growing.  (Applause.)

So I’m going to propose ways to put America back to work29 that both parties can agree to, because I still believe both parties can work together to solve our problems.  And given the urgency of this moment, given the hardship that many people are facing, folks have got to get together30.

But we’re not going to wait for them.  (Applause.)  We’re going to see if we’ve got some straight shooters31 in Congress.  We’re going to see if congressional Republicans will put country before party32.  (Applause.)  We’ll give them a plan33, and then we’ll say, do you want to create jobs34?  Then put our construction workers back to work rebuilding America35.  (Applause.)  Do you want to help our companies succeed36?  Open up new markets for them to sell their products37.  You want -- you say you’re the party of tax cuts?  Well then, prove you’ll fight just as hard for tax cuts for middle-class families as you do for oil companies and the most affluent Americans38.  (Applause.)  Show us what you got.  (Applause.)

The time for Washington games is over39.  (Applause.)  The time for action is now.  No more manufactured crises40.  No more games.  Now is not the time for the people you sent to Washington to worry about their jobs41; now is the time for them to worry about your jobs.  (Applause.)

Now, let me say a word about labor in particular.  Now, I know this is not going to be an easy time.  I know it’s not easy when there's some folks who have their sights trained42 on you.  After all that unions have done to build and protect the middle class, you’ve got people trying to claim that you’re responsible for the problems middle-class folks are facing.

AUDIENCE:  Booo --

THE PRESIDENT:  You’ve got Republicans saying you’re the ones exploiting working families.  Imagine that.

Now, the fact is, our economy is stronger when workers are getting paid good wages and good benefits.  (Applause.)  Our economy is stronger when we've got broad-based growth and broad-based prosperity.  That’s what unions have always been about -- shared prosperity.

You know, I was on the plane flying over here, and Carl Levin was with me, and he showed me a speech that Harry Truman had given on Labor Day 63 years ago, right here in Detroit -- 63 years ago.  And just to show that things haven't changed much, he talked about how Americans had voted in some folks into Congress who weren’t very friendly to labor.  And he pointed out that some working folks and even some union members voted these folks in.  And now they were learning their lesson.  And he pointed out that -- and I'm quoting here -- “the gains of labor were not accomplished at the expense of the rest of the nation.  Labor’s gains contributed to the nation’s general prosperity.”  (Applause.)

What was true back in 1948 is true in 2011.  When working families are doing well, when they're getting a decent wage and they're getting decent benefits, that means they're good customers for businesses.  (Applause.)  That means they can buy the cars that you build.  (Applause.)  That means that you can buy the food from the farmers.  That means you can buy from Silicon Valley.  You are creating prosperity when you share in prosperity.  (Applause.)

So when I hear some of these folks trying to take collective bargaining rights away, trying to pass so-called “right to work”43 laws for private sector workers --

AUDIENCE:  Booo --

THE PRESIDENT:  -- that really mean the right to work for less and less and less -- when I hear some of this talk I know this is not about economics.  This is about politics.

And I want everybody here to know, as long as I’m in the White House I’m going to stand up for collective bargaining.  (Applause.)

AUDIENCE:  Four more years!  Four more years!  Four more years!

THE PRESIDENT:  That’s why we’ve reversed harmful decisions that were designed to undermine those rights.  That's why we passed the Fair Pay Act to stop pay discrimination.  (Applause.) That's why we appointed people who are actually fulfilling their responsibilities to make sure that the offices and factories and mines workers that clock in each day, that they're actually safe on the job.

And we’re going to keep at it.  Because having a voice on the job and a chance to organize and a chance to negotiate for a fair day’s pay after a hard day’s work, that is the right of every man and woman in America -- not just the CEO in the corner office, but also the janitor who cleans that office after the CEO goes home.  (Applause.) Everybody has got the same right.  (Applause.)

And that’s true for public employees as well.  Look, the recession had a terrible effect on state and local budgets -- we all understand that.  Unions have recognized that; they’ve already made tough concessions.  In the private sector, we live in a more competitive global economy44 -- so unions like the UAW understand that workers have to work with management to revamp business models, to innovate so we can sell our products around the world.  We understand that the world is changing; unions understand that the world is changing.  Unions understand they need to help drive the change, whether it’s on the factory floor, or in the classroom, or in the government office.  (Applause.)

But what unions also know is that the values at the core of the union movement, those don’t change.  Those are the values that have made this country great.  (Applause.)  That’s what the folks trying to undermine your rights don’t understand.  When union workers agree to pay freezes and pay cuts -- they’re not doing it just to keep their jobs.  They’re doing it so that their fellow workers -– their fellow Americans -- can keep their jobs. (Applause.)

When teachers agree to reforms in how schools are run at the same time as they’re digging into their pockets to buy school supplies for those kids, they do so because they believe every child can learn.  (Applause.)  They do it because they know something that those who seek to divide us45 don’t understand:  We are all in this together.  That’s why those crowds came out to support you in Madison and in Columbus.  We are one nation.  We are one people.  We will rise and we will fall together.  (Applause.)

Anyone who doesn’t believe it should come here to Detroit.  It’s like the commercial says:  This is a city that’s been to heck and back.  (Applause.)  And while there are still a lot of challenges here, I see a city that’s coming back.  (Applause.)
You ask somebody here if times are tough, they’ll say, yeah, it’s tough, but we’re tougher.  (Applause.)  Look at what we’re doing to overcome.  Look at what we’re doing to rebuild and reinvent and redefine what it means to live in this great city.  Look at our parents who catch the first bus to work, and our students who stay up late to earn a degree.  Look at our workers on the line at Hamtramck and Jefferson North who are building the best cars in the world.  Look at our artists who are revamping our city, and our young people who are thinking up new ways to make a difference that we never dreamed of.  Look how we look out for one another.  (Applause.)

That’s why we chose Detroit as one of the cities that we’re helping revitalize in our “Strong Cities, Strong Communities” initiative.  (Applause.)  We’re teaming up with everybody -- mayors, local officials, you name it -- boosting economic development, rebuilding your communities the best way, which is a way that involves you.  Because despite all that’s changed here, and all the work that lies ahead, this is still a city where men clocked into factories.  This is the city that built the greatest middle class the world has ever known.  (Applause.)  This is the city where women rolled up their sleeves and helped build an arsenal for democracy to free the world.  (Applause.)  This is a city where the great American industry has come back to life and the industries of tomorrow are taking root.  This is a city where people, brave and bold, courageous and clever, are dreaming up ways to prove the skeptics wrong and write the next proud chapter in our history.  (Applause.)

That’s why I wanted to be here with you today.  Because for every cynic and every naysayer running around talking about how our best days are behind us -- for everybody who keeps going around saying, “No, we can’t" --

AUDIENCE:  Yes, we can!

THE PRESIDENT:  -- for everybody who can always find a reason why we can’t rebuild America, I meet Americans every day who, in the face of impossible odds they’ve got a different belief.  They believe we can.  You believe we can.  (Applause.)

Yes, times are tough.  But we’ve been through tough times before. I don’t know about you, but I’m not scared46 of tough times.  (Applause.)  I’m not scared of tough times because I know we’re going to be all marching together and walking together and working together and rebuilding together.  And I know we don’t quit.  (Applause.)  I know we don’t give up our dreams and settle for something less.  We roll up our sleeves -- and we remember a fundamental truth of our history:  We are strong when we are united.  (Applause.)  We’re firing all cylinders.

The union movement is going to be at the center of it.  And if all of you are committed to making sure that the person standing next to you, and their kids and their grandkids -- that everybody in this city and everybody in this country can unleash his or her potential, if you work hard and play by the rules, you will get a fair shake and get a fair shot.  That’s the country I want for my kids47.  (Applause.)  That’s the country you want for your kids.  That’s the country we’re going to build together.  (Applause.)

Thank you very much, Detroit.  God bless you.  And God bless the United States of America.  (Applause.)

  1. So the President takes pride in the government officials who work every day to create jobs and economic growth--what a great job they have done!  Gov. Jennifer  Granholm told us we would be "blown away" after her second term. She was so right.
  2. They've been working hard to build a better Detroit? They've been working hard to destroy Detroit, and they are succeeding.
  3. Try to define an "honest day's pay" or an "honest day's work"; how do you measure those terms?  Like "fair", those are loaded expressions with no real meaning.
  4. Define "fair", what does it mean? How do you measure and evaluate it?
  5. The minimum wage is a drag on the economy, raising prices and keeping many people unemployed.  Health insurance as an employee benefit came about because of government wage-price controls, an unjust and foolish interference in the free market. Health and pension costs are major factors in legacy costs which are bankrupting corporations and local governments across the nation.
  6. Social Security & Medicare are Ponzi schemes, designed, maintained and expanded for the purpose of buying votes. They are major contributors to the federal government's money woes.
  7. Prosperity is not America's, it belongs to those who produce goods and services in high volumes, at low cost and make a profit. Prosperity is not something to be shared, it is something to be earned. Unions are all about extorting the maximum possible wages & benefits for the least possible work. They strangulated the golden goose, raising prices and killing opportunity for the rest of us.
  8. Wealth is the result of work; accumulated surplus.  Without accumulated surplus, there is nothing to invest in growth, innovation and productivity.
  9. Union & partisan political greed was valued over responsibility, making major contributions to the ruination of the economy
  10. Decks were stacked against ordinary folks in the '70s, when escalating union demands pushed prices beyond the reach of ordinary folks.
  11. Special interests: UAW, AFL, CIO, SIEU & Democrat Party.
  12. "Economic security:' a phrase used only by liars. Security does not and can not exist in the real world.
  13. Prices are up, wages are down, hours are down; all because union goons strangled the golden goose and government inflated the currency.
  14. I have been looking for work since the government and a large corporation screwed me out of business in '80. I was gainfully employed for about three of those years. Unions and government policies drove the jobs out of Michigan. You made things tougher for us, and you promise more of the same. No thanks!
  15. I found 12 instances of "class" in this spew of malicious malarkey. Middle class, my ass!  Barack & Michele  have been living like  jetset, beautiful people; limousine liberals in the lap of luxury for the last two years, on our dimes.  We do not need classes, we need productivity; we need opportunity. We need to get the government out of the way and tear down the blockades it has erected in the path of progress. And we need to stop the inflationary spiral generated by union goons and their whipsawing strikes. Instead of uniting the nation, Obama is dividing us with class warfare. Its time to wise up and tell him to shut up; tell him to do the best thing he can for the country: to resign.
  16. Brag about signing a tax cut into law, while bitterly bitching about tax cuts "for the rich".  Its called class warfare, and there is no place for it in an honest society. That kind of demagoguery  is for tin horn dictators, not Presidents. Obama wanted Shrub's tax cuts to sunset; he demands tax increases. With his forked tongue, he speaks out of both sides of his mouth.
  17. So you ended tax payer bailouts?  Tell us about that... while you brag about saving a few jobs at Chrysler & G.M. How about the automobile dealers and their employees who are now unemployed because they contributed to the wrong party?
  18. You tried to keep a few teachers on the job so that their union dues would keep flowing into your campaign treasury. We are the losers in your game of circle jerk. You are going to be the pivot man November 6, 2012 if we have any say in the matter.
  19. You ended "wasteful giveaways", Like TARP?  Which was bigger, the subsidy to student loans or TARP?  Is it easier or harder to obtain and pay back a student loan now?
  20. "Accessible, affordable health care",  but every promise you made was a damned lie, and more of your lies are being exposed every month. You can not possibly keep any of those promises you made, and blessed near everybody knows it.  Your entire program is conter productive, in the worst possible way.
  21. "Preexisting condition": got cancer, get insurance. Died already, get life insurance just before your funeral; buy flood insurance after the hurricane hits. Same principle, different applications; all of them impossible in the real world.
  22. To make the industry succeed, you need to get rid of the legacy costs. That means exorbitant wages & benefits and work rules. You also need to eliminate idiotic regulations and impossible fuel economy demands.
  23. You "invested" in "clean energy"; how many windmill firms did you invest in?  How many of them went bankrupt? How many of them shipped jobs to China?  Aren't you a great investment broker; so successful! Why don't you take over for Warren Buffet?
  24. :"Roads and bridges", yeah, right. You have been singing the same tune since you took office. "Shovel ready jobs", how did that turn out for everybody?  With forty million people out of work, you will solve the problem with road building projects that will employ a few thousand. Of course those few thousand will be union members whose dues will blow right into your campaign chest.
  25. Construction workers are out of work because government policies and human greed built a construction bubble, which burst. The game of musical chairs is over, the housing market is bust. Carpenters & brick layers are going to build reads & bridges. Yeah, right.
  26. Public works projects are not the solution to the unemployment problem. The interest on the federal debt is mounting rapidly. When interest rates rise, we are going to be in deep excrement. Putting America back to work requires the prospect of making a profit and predictable risks. Those require eliminating your health care plan, energy and environmental plans and taxes. They also require eliminating artificial barriers todomestic oil & gas exploration, production and refining.     Eliminating Obama Don't Care. Cap & Trade, fuel economy & emissions standards and the drilling ban ain't enough. You must also remove the threat of tax increases. That means permanently ditching the death tax and permanently extending Shrub's tax rate cuts. if you won't do those things, resign and clear the way for someone who will.
  27. Only those currently employed are directly benefiting from that temporary tax cut. Does that $1000 offset the increased cost of gasoline, food, clothing and electricity for those directly benefiting from it?
  28. Growing government does not equate to a growing economy. Resources wasted by government can not be productively invested. Money borrowed by profligate government can not be invested in productive enterprises.  If you want to grow the economy, put the government on a strict diet.
  29. To put us back to work, you must be put out of work, along with the left wing Congressmen and Senators who vote for your destructive policies.
  30. Hardship has nothing to do with it. Rational and honest statesmen must resist your counter productive policies with all the force they can muster. They must learn to say "HELL NO!!!". If the Republicans do not tell you to go to Hell, we will tell them in the next election. There will be a RINO hunt.
  31. Those RINOs who accede to your unreasonable demands shoot themselves in the foot and the nation in the back. We will see to it that they have Conservative, competent, articulate and well financed primary opponents.
  32. Putting the country's welfare before party is up to the Democrats. Republicans, with the exception of the RINOs, already do that.
  33. It is obvious that your plan is more of the same poison that is killing us.
  34. Republicans want to see job creation, that is why they reject your job destroying, counter productive idiotic schemes.
  35. "Rebuilding America" is a code phrase for destroying the Constitution, replacing it with Communism. We are not stupid enough to accept that.
  36. "Help our companies succeed" is a code phrase for crony capitalism, also known as National Socialism. How did that work out for Germany?
  37. "Open up new markets" means one of two things: foreign trade or legislation to mandate purchasing those products. Trade requires balance, meaning that when we export, we also import. It works both ways, so in the long term, there will be no real gain. The other meaning translates to fascism. No thanks!
  38. Your class warfare tactic sticks out like a sore thumb. Time to cut it off.  It is high time for you to resign in disgrace. "Show us what you got": We call your bluff: show us your entire jobs plan, put it out on the table, in the open  immediately, instead of dribbling it out in a series of campaign tours.
  39. "Washington games"?? The arrogance of that statement is astounding. The gamesman in chief says the time for game playing is over.
  40. Excuses?? "Inherited from Bush"! "Earthquake". "Tsunami". "Arab spring". The arrogance of this narcissist can not be topped. It is time for him to go!!!
  41. How in Hell can you say that while you are campaigning for re-election? You are worried about your sinecure, not our jobs. Your counter productive policies are destroying jobs and wrecking the country. Obama is the new synonym for hypocrisy.
  42. "Sights trained on you"? Whatever happened to the new emphasis on "civility"?  We have  been told to "go straight to Hell" and had war declared upon us  by your surrogates,. without condemnation from you.
  43. The right to work means not being coerced into feeding fat cat union thugs and your campaign treasury as a minimum requirement for employment.  God blessed right, I am all for it. We want to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
  44. The golden goose is dead; no more golden eggs. Unions played a primary role in the death of the goose. Does anyone remember why Jimmy Carter was a one term President?
  45. Who seeks to divide us? "The wealthy:,,,"private jet owners"... "billionaires"; you have been busy telling your congregants whom to hate. Obama: the great divider.
  46. You do not fear tough times because you desire them. Creating economic chaos is part of the Cloward-Piven strategy for the Communist takeover.
  47. You want for your kids a country so deep in debt that it can never get out, perpetually refinancing at ever higher rates of interest so that all the tax revenue will go to debt service. That may be your only success.

Obamination: 9/11 Disservice

Political correctness may be defined as irrational persistence in the belief that "it is possible to pick up a turd by the clean end".  Ten years ago, the "Magnificent Ninteen", armed with box cutters, hijacked four commercial passenger aircraft and flew them three of them into occupied office structures.

The immediate tactical objective of that attack was to maximize grief, suffering, psychological impact, insecurity, distrust, physical destruction and economic damage to America.  The extended tactical objective  was to  instill a sense of defeat, insecurity & helplessness; to effect the maximum possible negative impact on our will and ability to mount an effective counter attack and defense.

The strategic objective is to effectively eliminate what they perceive as the greatest obstacle to total global conquest & domination and the establishment of permanent Islamic hegemony.

The attack was not planned, funded facilitated and executed by a single nation state or alliance of nation states.  It was  planned and executed by  believing Muslims, in the name of Allah.   When they slit the throats of the flight crews, they  shouted the takbir.  "Allah hu Akbar" says it all.  We do not need any investigation, we do not need any evidence, we do not require interrogations, trials or witnesses.  The proof stands out clearly in Islam's cannon of scripture, tradition, exegeses & jurisprudence.

President Barack Hussein Obama, in his weekly address, made no mention of or allusion to the fatal facts stated above.  He pretended that the G'd'd Abomination was the result of amorphous natural forces, equivalent to an earthquake or hurricane.  In fact, it was an attack by  enemies of the human race; deracinated zombies Hellbent on a course of maximal destruction by what they believe to be Allah's imperatives, threat & promise.

As a wise man said "Its Islam, stupid!". Not Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, 'extremists', 'radicals' neither was it terrorists. "Its Islam, stupid!"

Allah commands Muslims to conquer the entire world. The conquest imperatives are contained in Al-Anfal 39 & At-Taubah 29. "Fight them until" resistance ceases and "only Allah is worshiped", "altogether and everywhere".  "Fight those who"... until they "pay the jizya" and "feel themselves subdued".  What could possibly be re obvious?

Moe confirmed the imperatives, declaring that he was "ordered to fight the people" and "commanded to fight with men", the terminal condition in both cases being effective conversion & submission to Islam.

The imperatives are codified in Shari'ah, most clearly in Reliance of the Traveller, Book O, Chapter 9, Paragraph 8:  "The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians "... . Jihad is defined as "war against non-Muslims", a "communal obligation" upon Muslims, "meaning upon the Muslims each year".  Hedaya confirms the fact that jihad is undertaken on Islamic initiative, it is offensive, not defensive: "The destruction of the sword  is incurred by infidels, although they be not the first aggressors" [Volume II, Book IX, Chapter `, Page 141]

The outcome is predicted in exegesis: Tafsir Ibn Kathir leaves no doubt.

Ten years ago, Shrub lied about the identity of the enemy who attacked us, presumably because his family is deep in the pockets of Saudi Arabia and he did not want to face well justified demands for the extermination of Islam.

Ten years later, Obamination  persists in the same deception, presumably because he is a Muslim.  He makes reference to ending the fighting in Iraq and withdrawing from Afghanistan, but none to why we invaded them.  Both nations base their laws on Shari'ah, the same Islamic law that mandates yearly attacks against disbelievers. We lost those wars wasting  billions of dollars and priceless lives & limbs. Victory requires stamping out Islam.

Thanks and a tip of the hat to Atlas Shrugs for bringing Obanination's spew of feces to my attention.  But I am not in complete agreement with Pamela Geller: "The call for service on September 11th is inappropriate and sacrilegious. September 11th is a national day of mourning. Not service, remembrance for those who died in a surprise military strike against the United States of America conducted by the military wing of the global jihad, resulting in the largest loss of life in American history.".

September 11 should be a national day of cursing, neither service and not mourning.  We should be united in raising our voices to God in supplication for the immediate death & eternal damnation of those who planned, financed, facilitated, executed, enjoyed, celebrated and sympathized with the attack.  We should be united in prayer for the eternal damnation of Muhammad and the complete and permanent eradication of the war cult he founded.

Turds do not have clean ends. Islam does not have clean ends.  It was created by Moe for his own personal emolument through the perpetuation of war, generating a continuing flow of spoils and tribute.  Islam is mercenary, it can not be rendered beneficent.  Islam is aggressively violent, it can not be rendered passive.  For the disgusting details, see: Islam's Mercenary Mission and What's Wrong With Islam/Muslims?.

Obaminatio's spew is below, followed by my commentary on the major points.

Remarks of President Barack Obama
Weekly Address
Saturday, August 27, 2011

In just two weeks, we’ll come together, as a nation, to mark the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.  We’ll remember the innocent lives we lost.  We’ll stand with the families who loved them.  We’ll honor the heroic first responders who rushed to the scene and saved so many.  And we’ll pay tribute to our troops and military families, and all those who have served over the past ten years, to keep us safe and strong.

We’ll also recall how the worst terrorist attack in American history brought out the best in the American people.  How Americans lined up to give blood.  How volunteers drove across the country to lend a hand.  How schoolchildren donated their savings.  How communities, faith groups and businesses collected food and clothing.

We were united, and the outpouring of generosity and compassion reminded us that in times of challenge, we Americans move forward together, as one people.

This September 11th, Michelle and I will join the commemorations at Ground Zero, in Shanksville, and at the Pentagon.  But even if you can’t be in New York, Pennsylvania or Virginia, every American can be part of this anniversary.  Once again, 9/11 will be a National Day of Service and Remembrance.  And in the days and weeks ahead, folks across the country—in all 50 states—will come together, in their communities and neighborhoods, to honor the victims of 9/11 and to reaffirm the strength of our nation with acts of service and charity.

In Minneapolis, volunteers will help restore a community center.  In Winston-Salem, North Carolina, they’ll hammer shingles and lay floors to give families a new home.  In Tallahassee, Florida, they’ll assemble care packages for our troops overseas and their families here at home.  In Orange County, California, they’ll renovate homes for our veterans.  And once again, Michelle and I look forward to joining a local service project as well.

There are so many ways to get involved, and every American can do something.  To learn more about the opportunities where you live, just go online and visit Serve.gov.  Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost; a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.

On this 10th anniversary, we still face great challenges as a nation.  We’re emerging from the worst economic crisis in our lifetimes.  We’re taking the fight to al Qaeda, ending the war in Iraq and starting to bring our troops home from Afghanistan.  And we’re working to rebuild the foundation of our national strength here at home.

None of this will be easy.  And it can’t be the work of government alone.  As we saw after 9/11, the strength of America has always been the character and compassion of our people.  So as we mark this solemn anniversary, let’s summon that spirit once more.  And let’s show that the sense of common purpose that we need in America doesn’t have to be a fleeting moment; it can be a lasting virtue—not just on one day, but every day.

Americans move forward together, as one people.

That crap belongs in a campaign speech, not in a remembrance of innocent lives lost in a violent attack by believers in Islam.  For a politician who constantly divides the nation by race and economic status to mention togetherness, implying unity is the Acme of arrogance. "Move forward" implies the Socialist agenda of economic destruction & redistribution. That phrase belongs in a paid campaign commercial; it is entirely unrelated to the event being commemorated.

every American can be part of this anniversary

Those of us who are old enough to remember the Abomination can not avoid remembering the horrific events of that day. The image of jumpers evading the flames and smoke, hurtling toward the pavement below is indelibly imprinted on our memories. Likewise the image of the collapsing towers.

Far from being an empty clause, it is another appeal to unity: unity in voting to re-elect the worst President in American history. It belongs in a paid campaign commercial, not in a commemoration of innocent lives lost.

National Day of Service and Remembrance

There is no rational connection between service and remembrance. This clause, like its precedents, is polemical; unrelated to the topic at hand. "Service" fits right in with "sacrifice" and "eat your peas". I happen to like peas, I will eat as many as I can get my hands on when they are fresh. I had a bowl of pea soup for breakfast. I do not like the Socialist agenda of tax increases, which Obamination is promoting with his spew of excrement.

reaffirm the strength of our nation with acts of service and charity.

How did FDR reaffirm the strength of our nation after Pearl Harbor?  "Service and charity" devolves into tax increases. It is entirely out of place in a speech remembering the Abomination.

Michelle and I look forward to joining a local service project as well.

Mr. President, do a national service, right now: resign!  Resign!!  Resign!!!

emerging from the worst economic crisis

No, we are plunging deeper into the abyss as a direct result of the Socialist agenda behind your outrageous policies.  That phrase, like so many others, belongs in a paid campaign commercial.

taking the fight to al Qaeda

Al-Qaeda is a sub set of the enemy, not the enemy. Islam is the enemy. The war won't be over until Islam no longer exists; until there are no more Muslims.  When every Muslim is dead or apostate, then the war will be ended in victory, not before.

ending the war in Iraq and starting to bring our troops home from Afghanistan

We have not won; we have lost and are losing because those nations are populated and governed by Muslims under Islamic law, the same law that mandates annual attacks on disbelievers.

rebuild the foundation of our national strength

The Declaration of Independence & Constitution are the foundation of our national strength; you are eroding and evading them. The clause actually refers to the economy, which you are deliberately destroying. Those words belong in a paid campaign commercial, not in a speech about the Abomination.

character and compassion of our people

This phrase and the clause it belongs to devolve into the theme of including the enemy under the umbrella of protection afforded by the Bill of Rights. "The right to peacefully practice Islam."  Islam can not be practiced peacefully because "Jihad is ordained for you."  and Muslims are not permitted to pick and choose from the Qur'an

sense of common purpose

Common purpose? Communism! The phrase belongs in a paid campaign commercial.

not just on one day, but every day

So why bring it up now, in the context of remembering the G'd'd Abomination?  A proper remembrance involves the 3000 who lost their lives and the thousands who suffered injuries, many of whom are disabled.  A proper remembrance involves acknowledgment of the cause of those deaths & injuries and the identity & content of the ideology which motivated it.  A campaign speech pushing the Socialist agenda is entirely out of place in that context.

Obamination: Desecrated Medal Presentation

President Obama converted a Medal of Honor presentation into a campaign speech. You can read the whole thing here, I am interested in the perverse part.

The President began his remarks on that note:

I think we can all agree this is a good day for America.  Our country has kept its commitment to see that justice is done. The world is safer; it is a better place because of the death of Osama bin Laden.

Today, we are reminded that, as a nation, there’s nothing we can’t do —- when we put our shoulders to the wheel, when we work together, when we remember the sense of unity that defines us as Americans.

commitment

As I recall, that commitment was expressed by President G.W. Bush nearly ten years ago. It was a malignantly false commitment which ignored the true enemy to focus on a false front which serves to shield the true enemy from being identified and confronted.  Hunting down U.B.L. and his co-conspirators might offer psychological satisfaction, but solves nothing in the real world. It is like swatting  a few wasps and leaving the rest of the nest  alive to mount further attacks.

justice

If a mob boss commissions a hit which is performed by a made member and you prosecute, convict and hang the made member, letting the mob boss go free, is that justice?

safer

In a multi front war, we are not made significantly safer when one general is eliminated, leaving his colleagues and their subordinates in place.  Generals can and will be replaced.  We will only be safe when the true enemy is dead or permanently disabled.

better place

The improvement is sub marginal. No single person is the be all and end all of Islamic conquest of which terrorism is one tactic.  The improvement is so small that it can not be measured.

President Obama, like Presidents Carter, Clinton & Bush seek to divert attention from the real enemy, deflecting it onto a sham front group. Al-Qaeda means "the base".  The base is Ummah al-Islamiyya: that subset of humanity enslaved by Allah.

The Ummah is motivated by Allah's threat and promise.  The threat is implied in Surah At-Taubah 38-39. If you do not march forth in Jihad, Allah will punish you with a painful torment.  The threat is expressed more concretely in Surah An-Naba' 21-30.

The promise is made in many verses, particularly Surah As-Saff  10-13. The reward of mujahideen is described in Surah An-Naba 31-38.   The threat & promise motivate believing Muslims to wage war for the ostensible purpose of imposing Islam on the entire world.

It all begins with creation; since Allah created the world, he has exclusive possession and sovereignty. Only Allah has the right to be worshiped; only Allah has the right to rule.  He delegated  the regulation of temporal affairs to Muhammad and his successors. Their role is to impose Allah's dominion on the entire globe.

It is called "holy fighting in Allah's cause", which is to make Islam dominant.  The primary characteristic that confers holiness on it is not embezzling the spoils.  Turn to Surah At-Taubah 111 to learn what believers do: they fight in Allah's cause, killing others and being killed.  So long as the face of the earth is polluted by believers in Allah's threat & promise, we are not safe, war is being prepared or actively waged against us.  We will not be safe until they quit believing or quit living.

If you seek to make the world a better, more peaceful and safer place, then identify the enemy: Islam and begin to fight it on the ideological plane.  Expose Allah as Satan and Muhammad as a genocidal warlord, murderer and rapist.

Document the Qur'an, Sunnah & Sira; display it to the Ummah so that they can see exactly what they are enslaved to, worship and emulate. Those who retain a scintilla of vestigial morality will eventually  apostatize, the recidivist residue we must deal with more forcefully.

nothing we can’t do

That exemplifies over generalization: asserting that, because we can, after ten years of hard effort, track down and kill one terrorist leader, solve every imaginable domestic and international problem by increasing taxes and throwing money with random abandon.

That clause converted a medal of honor presentation into a campaign speech, the ultimate indignity to two heroes who should be honored, not co-opted as campaign props.

Poverty, unemployment, economic decline & stagnation, inflation, etc. are not members of the set of soluble problems.  Anthropomorphic climate change is neither real nor subject to control by any means at our disposal.

The solutions proposed by Obama are not solutions, they are fundamental causes of the problems. Socialism is the problem, not the solution!

Obamination: Long Form Birth Certificate??

When I first went on line today, Yahoo News was displaying an article about President Obama's  supposed "long form birth certificate".  I immediately downloaded the  http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/rss_viewer/birth-certificate-lo..." style="font-weight: bold;">pdf for a close examination.

Regular readers of my posts will anticipate skepticism, and with good reason. I confess that I never believe Obama; I do not trust him or any other power hungry left winger.

The certificate is presented in the form of a large piece of security paper with the certificate, printed on security paper, superimposed upon it. The fun part: the patters match, indicating that both were printed on the same printer. That aroused my suspicion.

On close examination, I noticed one principal anomaly:  white rectangles around  the text and signatures; not only the typescript but even the printed form headings have white perimeter shadows.

Was the document pieced together from text printed on plain paper  or were the shadows artifacts of the scanning process?  To find out, I cropped  part of the blank security paper from the top of the image and printed it.  I then wrote and printed on the copy and scanned it at 300 dpi resolution.

Surprise!  No shadows. Perhaps resolution was a factor, so I tried scanning it at 100 and 600 dpi.  The only change was the size of the scanned image. There were no white shadows at any resolution.

The next anomaly I noticed was a flying capital in the birth place of Obama's mother. The K in Kansas is printed above the base line, only the lower half is present and the character is less bold than the rest of the word.  I found five more capital Ks in the document, all of them printed correctly. Were they all printed with the same typewriter at the same time?

In 18a & 19a, the signatures of the mother and physician are remarkably similar, having the same slant, the first was signed with a bolder pen.  Were they written by the same hand switching pens?

At the bottom of the image, the following text appears, apparently rubber stamped: "I certify this is a true copy or abstract of the record on file in the Hawaii State Department of Health. "

On further examination, I discovered an anomaly in the form's block 5a.  In the screenshot, there is a red oval around the area of interest. Note the vertical line separating 5a from 5b. Notice that it is much thinner and lighter than the vertical separator between 6a & 6b appearing below. Note the bottom line of the box near the junction, its thickness and vertical position deviate, a sure sign of a form made by hand with Photo Shop or similar software, not a genuine form printed by professionals.

If it is a true copy, why does it lack the embossed seal of the registrar?  If it is an abstract, why was an attempt made to give it the appearance of an original printed form, which it probably is not?

If  this form was the genuine article, why spend $1,000,000 in court to avoid displaying it to a Judge? Why not show it and save the million?

Obamination: State of the Union: Bipartisan Compromise?

State of the Union: Prepared Remarks

Because of the length and drek density of the Obamination, I will spread my disrespectful discourse over several blog posts. The first eight paragraphs of the prepared remarks allude to and tangentially rehash the blood tinged partisan acrimony that has hung like a polluted haze in the atmosphere in the weeks following the 'Tucson Massacre.  I take that as my starting point.

"It’s no secret that those of us here tonight have had our differences over the last two years. The debates have been contentious; we have fought fiercely for our beliefs. And that’s a good thing. That’s what a robust democracy demands. That’s what helps set us apart as a nation."

The last two years?  As if only President Obama has had opposition, and contention is monopolar.  Does anyone remember what the nattering nabobs of negativism said about Nixon, Goldwater, Reagan, Bush Clinton & Shrub?  Assertions of warmongering extremism cost Goldwater his hope of election.  Does anyone remember the vitreol spewed at the judicial nominees of Reagan,  Bush & Shrub?

A book and movie about assassinating Shrub and an on the air rant about marching on Congressman Henry Hyde's home and stoning him to death stand out as examples of partisan hate speech.  But now they accuse those who voice principled criticism of Obama's policies & actions of inspiring the detestable act of a madman whose political leanings are closer to those of Obama than of his critics.  Indeed, a crisis is a terrible thing to waste, and Obamination won't let one pass unexploited.

A fight for beliefs?  Yeah, right.  The mission of political parties is to obtain, retain and expand political power, which they translate into cash flow for themselves and their allies.

Beliefs?  What beliefs?? Candidates are packaged, branded, promoted & marketed, usually without making clear declarations of political principles. The concept of pandering to the left in the primaries & caucuses before "moving to the center" in the general election and following a defeat in the mid term elections should be sufficient to disabuse any thinking mind of the 'fighting for our beliefs'  shibboleth.

"Now, by itself, this simple recognition won’t usher in a new era of cooperation. What comes of this moment is up to us. What comes of this moment will be determined not by whether we can sit together tonight, but whether we can work together tomorrow."

Cooperation = bipartisanship = Republicans surrender their 'principles' and "go along to get along".  Mixed seating is a matter of symbolism: symbolic of a fallacy.  When one side wants more of the poison that made the nation ill and the other wants a cure, there is no  practical compromise.  If a husband wants to use hydrochloric acid to clear a drain and his wife wants to use sodium  hydroxide, mixing the two may poison them both by releasing chlorine.  Some things should not be compromised.  "Work together" is another expression of the same dishonest concept.

"I believe we can. I believe we must. That’s what the people who sent us here expect of us. With their votes, they’ve determined that governing will now be a shared responsibility between parties. New laws will only pass with support from Democrats and Republicans. We will move forward together, or not at all – for the challenges we face are bigger than party, and bigger than politics. "

Expectations?  Sixty percent of the electorate cast their votes for congressional candidates who they believed were most likely to assist in the repeal of Obama Don't Care.  Governing responsibly involves simple and direct solutions, not 2700 pages of convoluted bafflegab.

We face the threat of a greater depression; the total ruination of the economy.  We face the threat of national insolvency; the prospect of eroded faith & credit. We face the threat of rationing of medical tests & treatments;' of bureaucrats making  arbitrary life or death decisions. We face increased costs and prices that will make medical goods and services beyond the reach of a growing mass of citizens.  We face the prospect of more businesses closing as insurance premiums become unbearable.

New laws should only pass on their merits, not based on which party proposes or opposes them. Content, substance & effects, including unanticipated consequences and diseconomies must be considered above partisan advantage through emotive nomenclature & propaganda.

Obamination: Iftar al-Taqiyya

I was disgusted but not surprised by what I heard on the news broadcast about President Obama's remarks at the White House Iftar.  I went in search of a transcript but did not find it at the White House web site. It turned up at a propaganda site for foreign consumption: America.gov.  My intention is to refute the treason lie by lie.  I will put  the lies in block quote format interspersed with my comments at full margin.  Use the link above if you want to read the whole screed uninterrupted.

And these events celebrate the role of faith in the lives of the American people. They remind us of the basic truth that we are all children of God, and we all draw strength and a sense of purpose from our beliefs.

"...We all draw strength and a sense of purpose from our beliefs."  How beneficent, peaceful and spiritual.  Muslims draw a sense of purpose from their belief.  President Obama does not want us to examine that purpose.  Because I am an equal opportunity offender, I will reveal it to you as I found it in the Hilali & Khan Noble Qur'an.
The Muslim's purpose is to fight in Allah's cause; to make Islam dominate the entire world.  Their purpose is to conquer us.  Sweet, beneficent & spiritual indeed.

These events are also an affirmation of who we are as Americans.  Our Founders understood that the best way to honor the place of faith in the lives of our people was to protect their freedom to practice religion.  In the Virginia Act of Establishing Religion Freedom, Thomas Jefferson wrote that “all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of religion.”  The First Amendment of our Constitution established the freedom of religion as the law of the land.  And that right has been upheld ever since.

Freedom of religion, a foundational virtue of America; how noble of President Obama to affirm it.  President Obama applies it to Islam, accepting the common fallacious assumption that Islam is a religion.  In fact, Islam is a "deen"--way of life which encompasses all aspects of human life, including faith.  Islam's faith component serves two purposes: it prevents us from perceiving the reality of Islam's mission and it motivates Muslims to fight, kill and be killed in world conquest.

We see Muslims raising their butts to the moon and hear them howling.  How sweet, they are praying to their god,  Islam must be a religion, beneficent, anodyne; an equally valid pathway to the sublime.   But what are they really doing?  Each time they pray, they recite the first Surah, which includes these verses.
  • 1:6. Guide us to the Straight Way

1:7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians).
They are cursing us. Five times each day they remind Allah of our going astray and earning his anger.  Nay more. They are declaring war upon us.  "Guide us to the straight way" Note the title of Ibn Kathir's Tafsir:  Guidance. Moe had a most interesting application for that word.
  • "May peace be on him who follows the guidance..."
  • "...Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:-- "Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master."... Sahih Bukhari 4.52.386
What happens to those who do not follow the guidance?  Moe sent an extortion letter to Persia, whose Emperor rejected it. Caliph Umar sent his army.

Indeed, over the course of our history, religion has flourished within our borders precisely because Americans have had the right to worship as they choose — including the right to believe in no religion at all.

Islam does not  honor freedom of religion.  Where Islam conquers, pagans & atheists must be slain or enslaved if not converted.  "People of the Book"  must be subjugated and make annual extortion payments for the privilege of living as less than second class citizens.  Conquered Christians living in dhimmitude are not permitted to build or repair churches, display crosses, ring bells or pray aloud in public.  Muslims who abandon Islam must be executed.

a nation where the ability of peoples of different faiths to coexist peacefully and with mutual respect for one another stands in stark contrast to the religious conflict that persists elsewhere around the globe.

"Mutual respect", another virtue lacking in Islam.  Our blood & property are not sacred to Muslims; we have no rights until we become Muslims.
  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
    Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."
Here comes the setup; wait for the but clause.

Now, we must all recognize and respect the sensitivities surrounding the development of Lower Manhattan.  The 9/11 attacks were a deeply traumatic event for our country.  And the pain and the experience of suffering by those who lost loved ones is just unimaginable.  So I understand the emotions that this issue engenders.  And Ground Zero is, indeed, hallowed ground.

Can you  imagine the feelings of the spouses and children whose loved ones went to work and never returned?  How did the survivors of victims of Flight 93 feel when they heard that cockpit voice recording?  I cursed Islam until my throat was too sore to continue, and I did not have any friends or family directly involved.

But let me be clear.  As a citizen, and as President, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country.

How in Hell can they have a right to wage war against us ?  How in Hell can they have a right to enslave & rape our widows and orphans?  Jihad is part of Islam. It involves killing. Moe gave tacit approval to rape  captive women.

What is their "religion"?  In this hadith, I will emphasize the critical parts for clarity. Read it slowly, then re-read it for full comprehension.
  • Sunan Abu Dawud Book 23, Number 3455:
    Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.
What would they abandon?  What would they return to?  What is their "religion"?
Participation in jihad is a "religious obligation" classified as fard al-kifaya; binding upon all eligible male Muslims until a sufficient number have responded to the call.  It is not possible for Muslims to practice Islam  without engaging in or supporting  jihad until the entire world is conquered.
  • O9.1 "...If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.
The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year...." http://www.crusadersarmory.co.cc/RelianceO9-1.html
And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances.

What do they do in that "place of worship" , five times each day?  And why in that location?  When Muslims conquer an area, they first tear down the local temple and replace it with a Mosque as a symbol of supremacy & triumph.  Why is Hagia Sophia a Mosque?  Why is there a Mosque on the Temple Mount?

This is America.  And our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable.  The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country and that they will not be treated differently by their government is essential to who we are.  The writ of the Founders must endure.

Can religious freedom be extended to those who do not grant it?  Can those be welcome here who assert a divine mandate to conquer us?   The Founders did not anticipate modern transportation & emigration.  They had no reason to expect Muslims to come here. Now they are here as an enemy fifth column, using our Constitutional rights as a weapon against us.

And let us also remember who we’re fighting against, and what we’re fighting for.

No American President has  correctly identified the enemy who attacked us nine years ago and continues to p;lot attacks against us.  That enemy is Islam, the same enemy that sacked our merchant marine between 1791 & 1815.  Its name is Islam; no elected official will acknowledge that fact.  They are cowardly traitors.   We are fighting for life & liberty which we hold dear and Islam denigrates & denies to its victims.

.Our enemies respect no religious freedom.

Lives must be mixed with truth to maximize their effects. There is the little bit of truth in Obama's slew of lies.

Al Qaeda’s cause is not Islam — it’s a gross distortion of Islam.

Al Qaeda is al-Ikhwan al-Muslimeen, as is HAMAS.
  • Article One:

The Islamic Resistance Movement: The Movement's programme is Islam. From it, it draws its ideas, ways of thinking and understanding of the universe, life and man. It resorts to it for judgement in all its conduct, and it is inspired by it for guidance of its steps.
  • Article Eight:

Allah is its target, the Prophet is its model, the Koran its constitution: Jihad is its path and death for the sake of Allah is the loftiest of its wishes.

Its Islam, stupid! Why in Hell is it called the "Muslim Brotherhood"?  Al-Qaeda & HAMAS, etc.  are Islam, not separate, independent  entities.

These are not religious leaders — they’re terrorists who murder innocent men and women and children.

Was Moe a religious leader?  He founded Islam, was he a religious leader or not?  He said that killing children would profane a holy war because they are part of the spoils.  He also gave tacit approval to killing them in night raids. "They are from them." They are terrorists; what was Moe? "...I have been made victorious with terror..."

And the reason that we will win this fight is not simply the strength of our arms — it is the strength of our values.  The democracy that we uphold. The freedoms that we cherish.  The laws that we apply without regard to race, or religion, or wealth, or status.  Our capacity to show not merely tolerance, but respect towards those who are different from us –- and that way of life, that quintessentially American creed, stands in stark contrast to the nihilism of those who attacked us on that September morning, and who continue to plot against us today.

How in the eternal Hellfire can anyone respect or tolerate Islam?  Only by ignorance, or by being part of that damnable cult!   It is Islam, stupid; perpetual war, denial of rights and dignity; subjugation of minorities and women. It is Islam, stupid.  We were attacked by 19 Muslims, motivated by the promise of eternity in the celestial bordello.  Allah purchased them for that purpose, with that promise.  Fools, morons and the willfully blinded can not connect the data points.

But time and again, the American people have demonstrated that we can work through these issues, and stay true to our core values, and emerge stronger for it.  So it must be — and will be — today.

Islam does not share our values, it contravenes them.  Islam is here to conquer us, not to assimilate. It is an enemy, not  part of our tradition.

And tonight, we are reminded that Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity.  And Ramadan is a reminder that Islam has always been a part of America.

Shi'ia, Sunni & Sufi all have something in common.  What is it?  Allah's imperatives.  What did Allah command them to do?  What did Moe say he was commanded to do?   How does that relate to 9/11?  What part of America was Islam when Thomas Jefferson was President?  Why did  he say "Millions for defense. But not one cent for tribute. "? Without the attacks of  the Barbary Pirates, we might not have a Marine Corps.  That is a substantial contribution, ain't it.

Muslim American clerics have spoken out against terror and extremism, reaffirming that Islam teaches that one must save human life, not take it.

Snake Excrement!!!  No cleric has condemned Allah's Gd'd imperatives, nor will they.  To condemn these is to sign your death warrant.
Show me, by God, one fatwa from one qualified  Muslim cleric, specifically & explicitly abjuring those ayat!!!`

No cleric has condemned Moe's Gd'd bragging about victory through terrorism.
Show me, by God, one fatwa from one qualified  Muslim cleric, specifically & explicitly abjuring those ahadith!!!  They have not and they will not because those ayat & ahadith are part of Islamic law.  Instead they blather about how Islam forbids killing innocents, relying on our definition of innocent, while remembering their own.  Islam holds that only Muslims are innocent, all others are rebels against Allah, deserving to be killed.  They love to quote 5:32 but never quote 5:33 and they will never tell you about Ibn Kathir's Tafsir of 5:33 which exposes the key definition: "waging war against Allah"  = disbelief.

And Muslim Americans serve with honor in our military.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, S.O.A. & Sgt. Asan Akbar  for example?

For in the end, we remain “one nation, under God, indivisible.”  And we can only achieve “liberty and justice for all” if we live by that one rule at the heart of every great religion, including Islam — that we do unto others as we would have them do unto us.

Liberty & justice are not advanced by allowing their sworn enemies to occupy us as a fifth column and erect symbols of their triumph over our battlefields.  Islam attacks, it kills, it enslaves; it does not live and let live.  It has no golden rule.   President Obama is one of them, not one of us.
