I feel awful that the Demonrats continue to play politics with our soldier's lives and bravery! What has this Nation become? Why do so many Americans continue to sit back with their heads in their neighbors asses while they bravely fight a determined enemy?

As a single father of two, I am absolutely terrified about the future of our country and our way of life. No, it's not the economy! It's not health-care! It's not taxes! It's not my job! It's not gas prices! It's not our enemy's civil liberties. It's Islamo-fascism stupid!

If that makes me a bigot or a racist, then so be it, I don't give a flying shit! We see across the globe, islamists doing what they can do to destroy human lives. How many more innocent people need to be slaughtered at the hands of the 7th century throwbacks?

I am sick and tired of all the seditious rhetoric spewing from the mouths of politicians! I am about to break! Am I alone here? When will America Rise up? Yes, we see many patriots standing up to defend the defenders. Is that enough though? I feel that it is not enough!

Throughout our great history, Americans have given their lives and blood for the freedom of untold millions. The best of America now volunteers to bravely go where most Americans don't have the spine to go! How can we ever win this war when our political leaders continue to undermine their noble efforts? Our enemy spends day and night planning our demise while our political leaders act like this is some sort of game.

We need a revolution in this country, and I don't mean a Ron Paul revolution! What is it going to take? Please, someone tell me!

For one, I give a shit. The future is looking bleeker all the time and with 4 grandsons, I fear what they will be facing when they come of age.

Too many Americans have been lulled asleep over the last 4 decades and we are now exacting the price, which will be paid by our children and grandchildren once the suicide bombers begin here.

Most of the country has no idea what we are facing, seeing the war as a distant news report and falling for the touchy feely leftist crap that will get a lot of Americans killed. The left doesn't know what it is playing with either. They, like the Bolsheviks at the end of WW1, think they can disrupt it all and waltz into power, not realizing the Islamofascists hate them more than they do us.

How do we wake them up? I haven't a clue. All I know is my guns are cleaned and loaded and I'm stocking up on ammo and if they succeed in banning firearms, mine goes into hiding, I will not give them up!

The worst part of advocating a revolution is that we will have to fight the very ones we support today. Good soldiers follow orders and that means we oppose them. Better a revolution at the ballot box, if we can wake up enough people. Maybe 4 years of Hillary or Obama will wake them up, but 8 years of Bill didn't, so I have little hope.

I do know this though, who ever comes to harm my kids or try to take my guns are in for a surprise. The 5 rifles that I own are not hunting rifles. Every couple months I purchase a case of 500 rounds of 5.56mm. I have been doing that since 9/11. That is allot of rounds! I just wish the ammo for my BMG-50 was as cheep as the 5.56 rounds. At $5.25 a round, I do not have nearly as many 50 cal rounds as my other rounds... Locked and Loaded Here!!!

Seriously, XXXX, I feel your pain. While we are aware and activated, our fellow citizens around us seem to be blind to existential danger looming over us like the sword of Damocles. Our blood boils as we listen to the lies spouted by our elected leaders and those seeking to replace them in high office.

Thus it always has been and always will be. Its part of life. All we can do is persevere in sounding the alarm. Perhaps the next mass casualty attack will wake them up.

I share that angst. I share that frustration. Those of us that have been in The Suck are light years ahead of the individuals that are more concerned over who is going to be the next American Idol or the winner of some dumb-ass non-reality show. They are overly concerned about the guest appearance of a favorite actor or actress on the evening late shows or some other equally inane and mundane silly mind-numbing trap. They pay more attention to some dhimmi on the nightly or morning news show to do their thinking for them or some pollster that wouldn't know their ass from a knot in a dead tree to do the same thing.

I don't let people do my thinking for me and every day of my life I challenge people from all walks of life to actually stop being afraid to think for themselves. I tell them to take no man's word at anything until you check the story or circumstance out themselves.

While the West sleeps, creeping Sha'ria Law befalls Europe in a bloodless coup. If that fails, there is always the United Nations. If that fails, there is always multiculturalism. If that fails, there is always another avenue to explore. (via our friend Ray Robison)

A senior intelligence official said Tuesday evening that the testimony was based in part on new evidence that Qaeda operatives in Pakistan were training Westerners, most likely including American citizens, to carry out attacks. The official said there was no indication as yet that Al Qaeda had succeeded in getting operatives into the United States.

The testimony, in an annual assessment of the threats facing the United States, was the latest indication that Al Qaeda appears to have significantly rebuilt a network battered by the American invasion of Afghanistan after the Sept. 11 attacks.

While things are getting tight for al Qaeda at home, they appear to have kick-started the greatest threat to us, the ability to infiltrate the west with crazy jihadis who look and act just like us.

Move America Forward, is calling on patriotic Americans from near and far to come to Berkeley, California and join us for a protest of the Berkeley City Council - in response to their recent efforts to silence the Marines and chase all vestiges of the military out of their city. Remember, the City Council called the Marines, "unwelcome intruders" and accused them of commiting acts of "barbarity."

Well now the rest of America will be heard from this Tuesday, February 12th when we organize a giant pro-America rally to protest the Berkeley City Council when they gather for their City Council meeting.

The City Council meeting takes place at 7:00 PM at 2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Berkeley, CA.

Move America Forward is asking people to show up by 5:00 PM if possible - so we have a crowd gathered in time for the media crews, and so we can secure seats for supporters inside the City Council Chambers.

(Note: Since the media will be covering this story all day, we'll have Move America Forward staffers outside the City Council chambers beginning at 5:00 AM. We'd sure like it if some of you could either join us for brief periods of time throughout the day, or join us for our all day pro-troop vigil!)

THE LUDICROUS FALLACY OF THE 'UGLY AMERICAN'

Of the many things I have been called by unhinged, hysterical leftwingers, few names cause me to chuckle more than "The Ugly American". The title (like everything else liberals believe) has no basis in any historical reality.

The name was gleaned from a 1958 novel by Eugene Burdick and William Lederer. The book was intended to show that America was losing the war against communism because of our loud, boorish arrogance and inability to understand other cultures. Like all the other dogmas of liberalism, it is based purely in fantasy- fantasy that history would expose.

That The Ugly American was a novel should end the discussion. An argument is exposed as inadequate if it must rely on fictitious events to support it. Much speculation has been made about who the characters in the book (and later, in the movie) represented, but it is so much nonsensical blather.

Let's look at the facts.

First, War is as old as civilization itself. Since Cain first slew Abel, mankind's barbarity has been a matter of sad fact. In fact, as time has gone by, the ability of man to torture, maim, brutalize and slay his fellow man has only been brought to more grotesque perfection while the world continues to fall into an ever more cold and callous slumber.

Second, America was not losing the war against communism. In fact, we won the war against communism. That is an objective historical fact, leftist revisionism notwithstanding.

Third, America was certainly not losing the war in Southeast Asia. At least, not by any standard by which war has ever been measured before. That America was losing the war in Vietnam is a work of pure liberal fiction.

America lost the Vietnam war, not to the communists, but to the American Government. That is a fact and it is indisputable. In an article published in Front Page Magazine, Bui Tin, a former North Vietnamese Col. admitted that the North Vietnamese were not achieving military victories, only political ones.

Question: How did Hanoi intend to defeat the Americans?
Answer: By fighting a long war which would break their will to help South Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh said,"We don't need to win military victories, we only need to hit them until they give up and get out."

The American protester was essential to the enemy efforts.

It was essential to our strategy. Support of the war from our rear was completely secure while the American rear was vulnerable. Every day our leadership would listen to world news over the radio at 9 a.m. to follow the growth of the American antiwar movement. Visits to Hanoi by people like Jane Fonda, and former Attorney General Ramsey Clark and ministers gave us confidence that we should hold on in the face of battlefield reverses. We were elated when Jane Fonda, wearing a red Vietnamese dress, said at a press conference that she was ashamed of American actions in the war and that she would struggle along with us.

The Vietnamese army knew they could not defeat the Americans. Only the Americans could do that.

If Johnson had granted [Gen. William] Westmoreland's requests to enter Laos and block the Ho Chi Minh trail, Hanoi could not have won the war.

The enemies of America resurrect the ghost of Vietnam to protest American intervention at any time, in any place. The lesson of Vietnam, they insist, is that an occupier cannot win against a well entrenched insurgency. That lesson, also, is a work of fantasy. When liberals make idiotic claims like this, they only betray their own blind ignorance of history.

The fact is that insurgencies rarely succeed. A student of history would know this, a student of fantasy would not. America did not lose the Vietnam war because of the Ugly Americans over there, it lost because of the [sic] beautiful people here. Namby Pamby sissy types took the streets of America by storm and it was the American citizen, not the American soldier, that could not counter it.

Myths about invincible guerrillas and insurgents are a direct result of America's collective misunderstanding of its defeat in South Vietnam. This loss is generally credited to the brilliance and military virtues of the pajama-clad Vietcong. The Vietnamese may have been tough and persistent, but they were not brilliant. Rather, they were lucky - they faced an opponent with leaders unwilling to learn from their failures: the United States. When the Vietcong went toe-to-toe with U.S. forces in the 1968 Tet Offensive, they were decimated. When South Vietnam finally fell in 1975, it did so not to the Vietcong, but to regular units of the invading North Vietnamese Army. The Vietcong insurgency contributed greatly to the erosion of the American public's will to fight, but so did the way that President Lyndon Johnson and the American military waged the war. It was North Vietnam's will and American failure, not skillful use of an insurgency, that were the keys to Hanoi's victory.

America lost the Vietnam war because-and only because- she lost the will to fight it. Due to the efforts of traitors and lairs like John Kerry and Jane Fonda, public opinion was turned against that effort. It was a death by a thousand cuts. Make no mistake, America surrendered in a war it was winning over there because it could not put down an insurgency back here.

Leftists have attempted to capitalize on America's humiliation in Vietnam by co-opting a Novel's fantasy of The Ugly American into a pseudo reality. Remember, The Ugly American was a Novel that takes place in a fictional place called Sarkhan. The foreign policy of the America haters works great in imaginary places. It is in the realm of reality on earth that it is somewhat wanting.

The fantasy of The Ugly American provides a convenient model for moral cowards that are jealous of America and willing to scapegoat her for their empty, meaningless lives. These hysterical cowards envision an America that has been a friend of despots and tyrants but history has been quite unkind to their pathological delusions. For, from Poland to Nicaragua, from Grenada to Iraq, more of the world's people are free and safe, fed, clothed, educated and receiving medical care, as a result of the American Soldier, than because of the combined efforts of all the other nations in the history of the world.

Now, it is no secret that I have had a great deal of fun over the years, poking my enemies with the proverbial stick. I have derived what is probably an unhealthy level of enjoyment by driving unhinged leftist baboons into volcanic fits of rage, by using their own rabid bigotry against them.

It is true that I do not mind being hated by these wild-eyed, spoiled and petulant little dorks. In fact, I relish it. For, I have yet to find one who can articulate a doctrine of how the world is that goes any deeper than "It's America's fault".

You may call me an ugly American when I say that we can bomb whoever we want, whenever we want, wherever we want, then sit back gleefully and watch leftist moonbats meltdown. Even though I say such things only to be incendiary, and entertain myself and, even though they certainly don't reflect my real views, you could make the case that it is an ugly thing to say. That's fair enough. I'll accept the charge.

Just don't expect an apology.

For me, true ugliness is not manifested in words purely intended to incite wrath from those who are mentally unbalanced to begin with. To me, true ugliness is manifested in cold indifference to the suffering of innocent people.

You see, for me, people are real. Real pain, real suffering and real anguish are part of the human experience of oppressed people living under the iron fist of tyranny. People live under no more horrid tyranny and brutality than those burdened with the yoke of 7th century Islamic Sharia law.

For the christophobes and the America and Israel haters, all religions are equal and American and Israeli imperialism is the source of all the world's ills. Meanwhile, back on planet earth, reality tells a very different story, for Sharia oppression and Islamic barbarism are as old as the religion of peace, itself. Once again, a student of history can quickly attest to the truth of what I claim, while a student of fantasy will merely kick and scream in protest.

Unlike the coalition of the callous, we do not have the luxury of living in a world where other people simply don't matter. When they look upon an oppressed people, the narcissists merely rationalize that their plight is-in some way- the result of some past American sin. This, inexplicably, renders the victim unworthy of relief or rescue.

In the world in which we live, it is simply unconscionable to view human beings as no more than pawns in a giant blame the imperialist Americans game.That is what I call ugly.

When I hear the blame America crowd calling the Iraq war immoral and demanding we pull out, I feel ill. When they compare the so-called Immoral war in Iraq with the so-called immoral war in Vietnam, I laugh.

Immoral war in Vietnam? More immoral than victims abandoned in Saigon? More immoral than the killing fields?

It is too easy for the pseudo-intellectuals to stand on the sideline, in a perpetual state of craven condemnation of American foreign policy abroad. They have that luxury because they never have to accept the consequences of their vapid stupidity. Fools such as these empty headed losers cannot understand the difference between education and intelligence, and are fully lacking in the ability to see the world as it really is.

The one thing liberal elitists are good at is being wrong. They were wrong about Chamberlain and Carter's pacifism just as surely as they were wrong about Reagan's peace through strength and their opposition to the Vietnam war.

Never, ever, have they been as provably wrong as they have been in Iraq.

They predicted the fall of Iraq would not be accomplished without tens of thousands of American dead. They were wrong. They pithily argued that the handover of power wouldn't happen, they were wrong. They claimed the elections would be stopped- wrong again.

More elections, a parliament, a prime minister, a Constitution....

wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

Finally, when things were going poorly, came the surge. Yet again, the apostles of failure predicted sure defeat.

Humiliating defeat after humiliating defeat after humiliating defeat. Have they learned? Of course not. They drone on in ever more bitter, ever more caustic fits of neurotic rage and feigned condescension.

.....but we know the truth, don't we?

They, not us, are the ugly ones. Yes, we are arrogant and boorish to them. Yes, we do push them down and kick sand in their faces but we all know they deserve it, so few say anything about it.

After all, these cowards are willing to consign a person...a nation....an entire race to poverty, oppression and misery just to reinforce an arrogant, self-serving hatred towards a nation they are jealous of. Ugly Americans? There is no such thing. We overthrow ugliness and we suffer not the crap of the cowardly pigs who would stand in our way.

Federal authorities say a high-level Muslim Pentagon aide, who led a campaign to
silence a Pentagon intelligence analyst for taking a hard line against Islam, is
running an "influence operation" on behalf of U.S. Muslim groups fronting for
the radical Muslim Brotherhood.

Hesham H. Islam, a special assistant to Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England, recently criticized Maj. Stephen Coughlin, one of the military's leading authorities on Islamic war doctrine, for making the connection between the religion of Islam and terrorism.
After Islam lodged complaints, Coughlin's contract with the chairman of the
Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon was not renewed.
Islam also was upset with briefings Coughlin recently prepared for the U.S. military warning that major U.S. Muslim groups were fronting for the Muslim Brotherhood, a worldwide jihadist movement based in Egypt.
Islam, who was born and raised in Egypt, is heavily involved with one of the groups the Islamic Society of North America, which U.S. prosecutors last year named as a member of the U.S. branch of the Muslim Brotherhood and an unindicted co-conspirator in a major terror-funding case.
Islam has persuaded his boss, England, to conduct various outreach with ISNA, including hosting the group's leaders in the Pentagon and speaking at its annual convention.

Muslim, Muhammed, Wikipedia Controversy

A group of Muslims have started a petition against Wikipedia because on the Muhammed entry page, there is a 15th century illustration in a copy of a manuscript by Al-Bīrūnī, depicting Muhammad preaching the Qur'ān in Mecca.

The petition can be found here and it states "In Islam pictures or Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and other holly figures are not allowed, but on wikipedia they has published some pictures that are showing not only a body with white face but an image that has a complete face.. that is even not allowed by SHITAT fact of Islam.
i request all my brothers and sisters to sign this petition so we can tell wikipedia to remove them.

The petition also lists the url of the offending picture, which they list as this.

The petition was started last night and as of right now has over 83,000 signatures. The controversy seems to have just began.

People have been going in and editing the page, removing the pictures and the Wikipedia management has had to fully protect the page, disallowing anyone to edit it.

They have also created a Talk:Muhammad, where people can discuss this controversy and where the reasons for disallowing editing of the original page is explained:

* Roughly speaking, persistant vandalism of the page has forced us to disabling editing for anonymous editors and new accounts. Accounts older than four days can still edit normally. The page is fully protected now (i.e., not even fully registered ordinary editors can edit), presumably because of a petition currently circulating against Wikipedia protesting the inclusion of images. —Steve Summit (talk) 21:19, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Full discussions are being had on the removal of the pictures, censorship as well as some insisting that Wikipedia has to follow the Muslim law not allowing images of Muhammed to be shown.

Following that discussion, Wikipedia had to create another page just for those that are requesting the images be removed instead of have an actual discussion and that can be found at Talk:Muhammad/images#Image_solution

The warning given at the end of the original Talk:Muhammad page is "Discussion of the use of images is going on at Talk:Muhammad/images. This section has been moved there and can be found at Talk:Muhammad/images#Image_solution. Any new posts to this section will be removed. gren グレン 22:03, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

On the Muhammed FAQ page, the Wikipedia management tries to explain that their neutrality is sometimes mistaken for hostility.

Wikipedia has made it very clear that the images will not be removed and had provided a way for users to change their settings so that any pictures of Muhammed that offend them can be hidden from their view.
