The President of Iran sent Christmas greetings to Pope Benedict and published the same on his blog. The English text appearing on his blog is essentially unreadable gibberish, probably a poor machine translation. The text below was obtained by running that text through Babel's translator. He was messenger of peace , devotion and love based upon monotheism and justice . He was raised in His Mother's hand Virgin Mary ( peace upon her ) that Almighty God stood her as impeccable and exalted her above the Women of the world . The Mother and the Son that in the Divine Sight are reputable and prestigious . And they are positioned by God The All Wise - at sublime level .

There 's no doubt , after God the Peerless Creator , the Beneficent , the Merciful created the human beings , did not forsake them on their own . By sending and assigning the emissaries prophets and messengers - along with the righteous individuals , and on top of that , by providing and utilizing the mankind With the gifts of intellect and human nature , they are guided in the right path in order to achieve the complete perfection . The human generations one after another were not created to live in anguish , intimidation , skirmish , aggression , oppression , and misery . And without enjoying amity and fraternity atmosphere - replete of love and justice depart this life and leave it for the next generations .

The philosophy of human creation is : reaching the pinnacle of bliss , construction of immaculate life , efflorescence of all potentialities and talents , implementation of justice and Devotion across the world amongst all human beings . This is one of the definite Divine promises that when the world is filled with oppression and enmity by the tyrants and oppressors , it will become full of Justice by the reappearance of the promised Savior . All the Divine Prophets clearly anounced this fact .

Unfortunately during the history , some egoistic and tyrant individuals existed that stood against the convocations and the sermons of the Divine Prophets . And these tyrants and oppressors were the causation of all the adversities and the originator of all wars and animosities .

Today 's status quo of the world is obvious of everyone . In Palestine , Iraq , Afghanistan , Africa , and South America and even in Europe and North America , due to the interests of despotic dominant rulers ' Parties and clans and also for up their pockets , the dignity , benevolence , peace and tranquility of the human beings been taken to abattoir and Slaughtered . And then, lie and deception are positioned for honesty and truth .

Many peoples are exasperated from the present situation of the world . And they come to the conclusion that the existed procedure , method and technique can not provide tranquilly and peace to the mankind .

Frankly , if Jesus Christ the Messiah ( peace upon Him ) was present today , how would He react ? And whom would He stand with and against ?

If Jesus Christ ( peace upon Him ) was present today , he would order encounter against those who would propagate corruption , obscenity and perversion , And try to nullify and exterminate the merits and the rights of women and diminish their position position that virgin Mary ( peace upon Her ) is their role model and sample .

If Jesus Christ ( peace upon Him ) was present today , He would order contention against those who try to discharge the world from morality , Spirituality , intellectuality , justice , and peace . And accordingly , the true followers of the Divine Prophets would follow their steps in regard to strengthening the morality , intellectuality , spirituality , peace and justice in The world .

Although last year was accompanied with many injustices , aggressions , and many violation of rights , but the calls and outcries of begging and imploring from God and Demanding justice were louder . Day by day , nations would realize the power of faith and godliness . They would go for peace and justice more than before and give positive answer to the Divine prophets ' sermons and would tell to their Creator Almighty God ' Here am I ! '� Praise the Lord !

The same way that Jesus Christ ( peace upon Him ) invited the people to goodness and perfection , and also avoid them from evil , atrocity and Aggression , His true followers the same . With the belief in God and the Hereafter , they are frontiers in righteousness .

Certainly , the implementation of the Divine Prophets ' commands and directions would reform and improve our lives in this world and would safeguard afterlife conjunctionally .

We believe that the beloved Jesus Christ the Messiah ( peace upon Him and His Mother ) would also reappear for the fulfillment of the promises of All the Divine prophets . And together the invited of the nations would bring all the beauties and goodness for humanity of the world . And we are getting close to that date .

While commemorating the birthday of the Prophet of amity , love and devotion Jesus Christ , the Messiah ( peace upon Him and His beloved Mother ) And congratulating the new year , I beg God the Merciful , the All-Wise year of bliss , and health and year replete Of , abundance , success , and affection for everyone , specially the Christian of Iran and the world .

Sahih Muslim Book 026, Number 5389:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the narrowest part of it.

• This is one of the definite Divine promises that when the world is filled with oppression and enmity by the tyrants and oppressors , it will become full of Justice by the reappearance of the promised Savior . All the Divine Prophets clearly anounced this fact .

Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it." Abu Huraira added "If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): -- 'And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. Abu Dawud Book 37, Number 4310:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace_be_upon_him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.

Justice is Islam, established by fighting, which results in death & dispossession of all who oppose it. And Jesus Christ is to return to participate in it, yeah, right.

Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."

Who is doing that? Who is burning books; won't allow the Holy scriptures to enter their domain? Who sentences a gang rape victim to 200 lashes? Who demands the death of anyone who converts to Christianity? Who demands total world conquest? Who is fomenting war & terror in Asia, Africa & Europe?

Benazir Bhutto Reported Dead: UPDATED with Reactions

[Updates below] Reactions & Al-Qaeda tries to take credit for Bhutto's death.

NYT, SkyNews, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, and Washington Post are all reporting that Benazir Bhutto has been assassinated and a deadly suicide bombing attack that has killed at least 20 people.

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was assassinated Thursday in a suicide bombing that also killed at least 20 others at a campaign rally, a party aide and a military official said.


"At 6:16 p.m. she expired," said Wasif Ali Khan, a member of Bhutto's party who was at Rawalpindi General Hospital where she was taken after the attack.

Evidently she was shot in the neck and chest and as she was getting in a car to leave the rally, the initial reports are claiming. Her husband later told media she was in surgery.

Pakistan is already in a state of emergency declared by Musharaff earlier in the year and there had already been an assassination attempts on Bhutto at a rally in October and again yesterday, police stopped a would-be bomber with explosives around his neck.. There is also speculation that this assassination might postpone the parliamentary elections scheduled for January.

According to ABC, early reports were that Bhutto was safe, but reports have now come out that she is dead.

The Washington Post is reporting that at a different rally, a sniper opened fire on supporters of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, leaving four dead and five injured.

MSNBC reports that Musharaff had forced Bhutto to cancel a previous rally, citing security fears and that security at this rally was tight, "hundreds of riot police manning security checkpoints with metal detectors around what was Bhutto's first campaign rally since returning from exile two months ago."

Not tight enough obviously.

The New York Times give a bit of history regarding Benazir Bhutto:

Ms. Bhutto, 54, returned to Pakistan to present herself as the answer to the nation’s troubles: a tribune of democracy in a state that has been under military rule for eight years, and the leader of the country’s largest opposition political party, founded by her father, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, one of Pakistan’s most flamboyant and democratically inclined prime ministers.


But her record in power, and the dance of veils she has deftly performed since her return -- one moment standing up to General Musharraf, then next seeming to accommodate him, and never quite revealing her actual intentions -- has stirred as much distrust as hope among Pakistanis.


A graduate of Harvard and Oxford, she brought the backing of Washington and London, where she impresses with her political lineage, her considerable charm and her persona as a female Muslim leader.


But with these accomplishments, Ms. Bhutto also brought controversy, and a legacy among Pakistanis as a polarizing figure who during her two turbulent tenures as prime minister, first from 1988 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1996, often acted imperiously and impulsively.

Daily Mail has pictures of Bhutto right before the attack and many photos of the carnage afterwards.

This will do nothing to stabilize Pakistan and will, in fact, destabilize it further as accusations fly and fingers start pointing.

The Pakistan Spectator is reporting clashes between police and supporters:

In Rawalpindi, right in front of Rawalpindi General Hospital where Late Benazir Bhutto died and her dead body is present right now, workers of People's Party are sitting and weeping loudly. In other areas of Rawalpindi like Faizabad, Saddar and Murree Road, angry crowd is burning shops and vehicles and shouting slogans against the terorists.


On Dusht Road, Peshawar, angry crowd has blocked the main road.


All the roads leading to capital Islamabad have been barricaded and blocked and there are reports of collision of police with protesters.

Pakistan is a nuclear power which makes this type of instability a very dangerous situation for the international community as a whole. This also could spark a complete civil war in Pakistan.

Photos of the streets on television news shows protests, rioting and they are saying Bush has been informed and more than 40 other people are being reported as injured.

[Update #2] Hat tip to Hot Air for pointing us toward this article reporting that al-Qaeda is tying to lay claim to Bhutto's murder.

A spokesperson for the al-Qaeda terrorist network has claimed responsibility for the death on Thursday of former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto.


“We terminated the most precious American asset which vowed to defeat [the] mujahadeen,” Al-Qaeda’s commander and main spokesperson Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid told Adnkronos International (AKI) in a phone call from an unknown location, speaking in faltering English. Al-Yazid is the main al-Qaeda commander in Afghanistan.


It is believed that the decision to kill Bhutto, who is the leader of the opposition Pakistan People's Party (PPP), was made by al-Qaeda No. 2, the Egyptian doctor, Ayman al-Zawahiri in October.


Death squads were allegedly constituted for the mission and ultimately one cell comprising a defunct Lashkar-i-Jhangvi’s Punjabi volunteer succeeded in killing Bhutto.

I found at New Media Journal, a reference to a Yahoo News article about the Ulama's Christmas greeting. The text of the greeting is reproduced below, followed by a quote from a statement about the sanctity of innocent lives. After quoting the documents, I will dissect them and expose the deceptions therein contained.

"Abraham and his kin" includes the Jews, of whom Allah said "They are the worst of creatures." ; do the Ulama sincerely bless those whom Moe has cursed or are they unaware of 9:30?

This greeting contravenes Moe's explicit command concerning greeting Kufar.

Sahih Muslim Book 026, Number 5389:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the narrowest part of it.

• Peace be upon Jesus Christ who says: Peace is upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I am resurrected (Chapter of Mary; the Holy Qur’an; 19:34) [Ref. preceding ayeh 33.]

1. PBUH: why? PBU Moe is explained.
   • 33:56. "Allâh sends His Salât (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy, etc.) on the Prophet (Muhammad ) and also His angels too (ask Allâh to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salât on (ask Allâh to bless) him (Muhammad ), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islâmic way of greeting (salutation i.e. As­Salâmu 'Alaikum)" .[TheCommand to Say Salah upon the Propht] Clearly, Moe had some doubt concerning his own salvation and was seeking reinforcement, knowing that he was a sinner. Is there any doubt about Jesus Christ's eternal destination?
2. On what day did Jesus die? 4:157. And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allâh," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ]:
   
   4:158. But Allâh raised him ['Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allâh is Ever All ­Powerful All Wise.

• uphold and treasure every single human life and especially the life of every single child. Indeed, it is worthy of note that this year Muslim scholars issued a historic declaration affirming the sanctity of human life—of every human life—as an essential and foundational teaching in Islam upon which all Muslim scholars are in unanimous agreement

Is that so? Every human life is sacred to Islam, especially the children? In Sahih Muslim, Muslim Book 019, Number 4294, we read: "do not kill the children". But in Book 019, Number 4321 we read: "It is reported on the authority of Sa'b b. Jaththama that the Prophet of Allah (may peace be upon him), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said: They are from them."

What is the reason for the injunction and for the exception, if life is sacred? In Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 512 we read: "Then the inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives." Does that give you a hint? What did they do with captives? See 8:67 & 47:4. What happened to Safiya? What happened to the adolescent boys of the Banu Qurayzah tribe? But all human life is sacred, particularly the children, right?

If all human life is sacred to Islam, why did Moe say: "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Clearly, our lives ain't sacred to Muslims until we submit to Islam!!

• The sanctity of human life: God has forbidden the killing of innocents whether
  they be Muslim, Christian, or otherwise. All who take life without legitimate
  justification commit a major crime and an atrocity before God.

Who is innocent? 5:33 establishes the punishment for making mischief against Allah: 5:33. "The recompense of those who wage war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter. " Who incurs that penalty? Ibn Kathir lets the cat out of the bag in his tafsir of this ayeh: "Wage war' mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways. Mischief in the land refers to various types of evil. " You are subject to the penalties imposed by 5:33 for disbelief!!! If you do not believe in and obey Allah and his Messenger, you ain't innocent. Whenever a Muslim's lips are moving, his pen is writing or his fingers are on a keyboard, look out for the weasel words!!!

To: The Secretary General of the United Nations, US Ambassador to the United Nations and EU Ambassador to the United Nations:

We, the undersigned, are concerned that the UN has been subverted for decades into an instrument to persecute a member state, Israel. This violates charter guarantees of equality for all states and detracts from the ability of the UN to function as a fair and impartial mediator in the Middle East. Precious Secretariat resources for human rights are diverted into one conflict and one problem out of many. We insist that Israel be given equal treatment with all countries at the UN.

The UN Human Rights Commission, even after reform, issues endless condemnations of Israel, supported by notorious human rights violators such as Libya, Cuba, Iran, and Syria.

Israel is the only state that for decades was not part of a regional group and could not participate in UN bodies and consultations, and its membership is still restricted.

One of the seven Secretariat divisions for the entire world is a separate Division for Palestinian Rights. There is no separate division for any country or any other issue. There is no division for women's rights or basic freedoms, and no separate divisions for Tibet, Cyprus, West Sahara or other crisis areas.

Notorious examples of UN sponsored anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic NGO activities abound. They include the odious Durban conference that condemned Zionism as "Racism." A conference in Cairo supported the Hamas government and tried to torpedo efforts to force the Hamas to recognize Israel and participate in conflict resolution.

The Division for Palestinian Rights (DPR) and the committees it controls conduct an unrelenting campaign against Israel. The DPR fosters Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) that promote racism and attempts to impede peace efforts. These activities and related anti-Israel initiatives have damaged the credibility of the UN as a force for peace and a neutral mediator.

We call on the UN to abolish the Division for Palestinian Rights and the associated Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Human Rights Practices Affecting the Palestinian People and Other Arabs of the Occupied Territories (SCIIHRP) and the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP).

Likewise, we call on the UN to complete the reform of the UN Human Rights Commission and correct its anti-Israel bias, and to allow the integration of Israel into the UN as an equal member which can serve in all UN institutions and committees.
