Stop the Ground Zero Rajab!!

ACLJ's litigation against the Ground Zero Mosque project is going forward, with oral arguments tomorrow.     This is not really an issue of desecration of sacred soil, neither is it an issue of sensitivity.  It is an issue of supremacism. Islamic doctrine holds that Islam must be superior; it must be in a dominant position. 

    Park 51 is not a 'community center', nor is it strictly a mosque; it is a rajab: a fortification built on a site of conquest as a symbol of supremacy and a staging area for further expansion through military expeditions

Rub Salt in the Wound: Reissued!!!

Iftar AssWholliness: Bloomberg's Excrement

When ABC Radio News came on, they broadcast a sound byte which sent me on an urgent mission to the bathroom. The sound byte was from Mayor Bloomberg's Iftar.  I found Bloomberg's  prepared remarks at The Page.  I am not going to reproduce Mark Halperin's article here,  I will quote the most  egregious excrement out of context & out of sequence; if you want to read it all in context, use the link above.

    Here is the sound bite that pissed me off.

“Islam did not attack the World Trade Center – Al-Qaeda did. To implicate all of Islam for the actions of a few who twisted a great religion is unfair and un-American. Today we are not at war with Islam – we are at war with Al-Qaeda and other extremists who hate freedom."

Islam did not attack

    When the hijackers slit the throats of the flight crews, they pronounced the takbir, praising the demon whose name is Allah.  Allahhu Akhbar means "Allah is greater.". They murdered the flight crews in Allah's name, that makes it an Islamic act.

Al-Qaeda did

    Al-Qaeda is only a name, an artificial subdivision of the Muslim Brotherhood.  The Muslim Brotherhood is only a name, an artificial subdivision of  Ummah al-Islamiyya.  I refer damned fools, liars, doubters, deniers & dissenters to the Charter of HAMAS, which defines the Falestinian branch of  al-Ikhwan-al-Muslimeen.
   

• Article One:

  The Islamic Resistance Movement: The Movement's programme is Islam. From it, it draws its ideas, ways of thinking and understanding of the universe, life and man. It resorts to it for judgement in all its conduct, and it is inspired by it for guidance of its steps.

    Who is the Brotherhood's target?  Who is its model? What is its constitution?  What is its highest aspiration?  How in Hell does that differ from Islam! Al-Ikhwan-al-Muslimeen, HAMAS & al-Qaeda are Islam, nothing more, nothing less.  Their ideology is Islam's ideology.

    What the Hell did they say?  In whose name did they slit throats?    What did he command them to do?

• 9:5. ... then kill the Mushrikûn (see V.2:105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush....
• 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 

    Allah commanded Muslims to  wage war against us until we are subjugated and make annual extortion payments. What did Moe say?

• Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
  Narrated Anas bin Malik:
  Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have." [Emphasis added.]

    Why did Moe say that he was ordered to fight the people?  Who gave him that order?   What is the practical application of that order? How is it implemented?

• ...Allah commanded His Messenger to fight the People of the Scriptures, Jews and Christians, on the ninth year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army to fight the Romans and called the people to Jihad announcing his intent and destination. The Messenger sent his intent to various Arab areas around Al-Madinah to gather forces, and he collected an army of thirty thousand.... [The Order to fight People of the Scriptures until They give the Jizyah]
• 09.1 Jihad is a communal obligation (def: c3.2). When enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others...
• ...If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims. The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: 09.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year.... [Emphasis added.]
• "The least that the imam must do is that he allow no year to pass without having organised a military expedition by himself, or by his raiding parties, according to the Muslims' interest, so that the jihad will only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse."
• o9.8 Thc caliph (025) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice,
  and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim  poll tax (jizya, def: 01 L4)-which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (0: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the  non-Muslim poll tax (0: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High, "Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax  out of hand and are humbled" (Koran 9:29),...

    Why is neglecting jihad sinful?  Why is jihad required in every year?  Why  did Al-Shafi'i rule that jihad must be performed annually, if possible?

    Jihad is fard al-kifaya; communally binding until a sufficient number have responded to the front. (Undat al-Salik o9.1)  Full mobilization is only required (fard ayn) when Dar ul-Islam is invaded.  Those few are the believers [8:2, 49:15 ] who have been purchased by Allah as slaves to fight in his cause, kill and be killed.

    I showed you Allah's imperative, Moe's confirmation, and their codification in Shari'ah.  What was twisted?  It is Islam, stupid; it ain't Judaism and it ain't Christianity. It ain't al-Qaeda. It is Islam, stupid!

    The founder of Islam revealed the Jihad imperatives.  The founder of Islam exemplified compliance with them and bragged that he was "made victorious with terror".  Moe is the standard.  What Moe preached and practiced is normative Islam, not extremism!

    They hate kufr: rebellion against Allah (disbelief).  They hate everything not Islamic.

    The Burlington Coat factory took a direct hit; part of one aircraft projected through the tower and penetrated the roof,  passing through two floors.   That makes it part of ground zero.

    Terror is not an enemy, it is a tactic.  Islam is fighting us and we need to fight Islam.  Freedom is our highest value, not a tactic, neither is it a weapon.  If we desire to remain alive and free, then we must retaliate and eliminate the enemy which attacked us in the 19^th century and resumed attacking us in the 20^th .

    Freedom must be reciprocal.  Islam does not reciprocate, it enslaves.  We  are not obligated to give our enemy a staging ground and weapons from which and with which to attack us.

"...And above all of that, we are Americans, each with an equal right to worship and pray where we choose...."

    The First Amendment's free exercise clause is meant to protect legitimate religions, not war cults.  Islam sanctifies conquest, genocide & terrorism.  How in Hell can there be a right to perform genocidal conquest, which is a "religious obligation" in Islam?  If there is a right to practice Islam, then Muslims have  a right to kill us, rape our widows and enslave our orphans. If such rights exist, our rights are abrogated.

Ground Zero Declaration Challenges Muslims human rights,ground zero,mosque,Park 51,Feisal Abdul Rauf

The Ground Zero Declaration came to my attention through a Google Alert that led to a post by Ali Sina at Faith Freedom.org.     The brainchild of Billy Rojas and Centroids, the declaration  begins by affirming the Declaration of Independence & Bill of Rights.

    After the affirmation, it lists four prticular items: freedom of religion, equal protection, human dignity and peaceful assembly & free speech.

    In that fourth item, it specifies freedom to criticize religions, which will stick in Islam's eye like a sharp grain of sand.  

    The next section carries an interesting heading: "The Problem With Cordoba House".  The concluding sentence of that section is particularly interesting.  "Allowing Muslims to build an Islamic center so near the scene of Islam-inspired death implies that neither we nor they have truly learned the painful lessons of 9/11."

    The next section, "What We Want", leads off with a most direct sentence.  "If Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is serious about promoting a new Reformed Islam that divorces itself completely from the ideology that brought down the World Trade Center, we ask him and his colleagues to officially:"

There follows an enumerated list of three things no Muslim can do  without incurring the penalty of apostasy and a demand that the Ground Zero Mosque project be postponed, reconfigured or relocated.

    The concluding sentence has more clarity than I can expect from centrists; this has real merit.  "We do not believe a commitment to freedom means giving our enemies the freedom to destroy us."

    That last sentence is the clincher for me.  I hope it will be for you, too.  Lets make this happen!

Moderate's Immoderate Rejection of Park 51

Bare Naked Islam, who makes a habit of posting the cream first, has struck again with a Fox News video  of an interview with Raheel Raza in which she categorically denounces the Ground Zero Mosque project. A little background: Raheel is  board member of the Muslim Canadian Congress and the author of Your Jihad, not My Jihad.

"Why do you oppose building that Mosque downtown?"

"Well, I oppose the idea along with other members of the Muslim Canadian Congress because it is confrontational, it is in bad faith and  doesn't really set up any kind of  dialog or discussion on tolerance. "

"Well the pro-Mosque forces including the Mayor of New York City say, number one, to deny the Mosque would be a slap in the face to freedom of religion and number two, the reason that the community center Mosque is wanted  there by the Muslims involved is to show respect, respect for the victims of 9/11; you're not buying that? "

"Well, no, as a Muslim I'm not buying that at all how does building a Mosque in the very place where Muslims murdered so many other Americans create any kind of respect?  What I'm hearing from people, especially those who are family of the victims is that this is very hurtful and very painful,  and as a Muslim  I read in my holy book, the Qur'an that we should be very sensitive towards people of other faiths, especially when we are living in lands that are not Muslim lands and these are our neighbors and our colleagues and the  people we care about.    We don't show our caring for them by being intolerant.

Building a Mosque or a place of worship in the particular spot across the street from ground zero is a slap in the face of all Americans.  I mean New Yorkers have  [inaudible] with Spain and and the people who are behind this project are themselves Americans and New Yorkers--I can't begin to imagine how they would even conceive  an idea that building a Mosque there which is an exclusive place of prayer for Muslims would in any way build tolerance and respect.

     Mayor  Bloomberg and other bleeding heart white liberals like him don't understand the battle that we moderate Muslims are faced with in terms of confronting radical Islam and Islamization and political Islam in North America, which has only grown since 9/11  because of political correctness and people because of their political vested agenda,not speaking out about issues like this. "

"What a great answer.  Ms. Raza, that was about as articulate  a indictment of this whole crazy thing that I've  heard. Some say..."

But one doesn't hold back when ...

"Listen, I'm complementing you because that was very well stated.  Some people say that this Imam Rauf  wanted to gloat--wanted to put a Mosque there to send a signal to radical Muslims that this was a victory-- are you  buying that?"

Well, it could be, Imam Feisal Rauf  has previously had a reputation for being a very pluralistic, visionary man, I will say that for him, so it came as a double surprise when I heard that he and his wife were the sort of brains behind this idea.  But you know a hundred million dollars can   help people sell their souls so who knows what goes in the minds of people?  

    And the big question that we have also is where is this funding coming from?  Was this a fund raising that took place in America? ...

"No, they don't have the money right now,  we're actually watching... Ir's not going to get done, I have said this from the beginning of the story, that  I don't think there is a construction crew in New York City, certainly not a Union crew that is gonna work on this project; I don't think its gonna happen, but I respect your coming on, Ms. Raza, I know how difficult it is and there are some in your community who will condemn you for doing it but  you really nailed it, this is about sensitivity; its about Muslims obeying the Qur'an and going out of their way to be hospitable  to people who may feel pain in a certain measure.  Thanks, Ms. Raza, we appreciate it very much."

    Why didn't OReilly say " wham bam, thank you ma'am"?   he must have been thinking that.  Her first answer pretty well nailed it: "it is confrontational, it is in bad faith and  doesn't really set up any kind of  dialog or discussion on tolerance".  She basically  confirmed what Pamela Geller and others  have said about the proposed Mosque, that it represents an insensitive imposition of a symbol of triumphal conquest.  She contradicted the assertions of the  proponents.

    The next answer was no less forthcoming: "I can't begin to imagine how they would even conceive  an idea that building a Mosque there which is an exclusive place of prayer for Muslims would in any way build tolerance and respect."    That is an excellent statement of the obvious.

Park 51: Place of Salat

Why build a Mosque?  To pray in, of course. What of those prayers?  What do they pray for?

    In each prayer service they recite  Surah Al-Fatihah, the first  chapter of the Qur'an.  It is a short chapter,  examine its contents.

1:1. In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.  

1:2. All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists).  

1:3. The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.  

1:4. The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)  

1:5. You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).  

1:6. Guide us to the Straight Way 

1:7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians). 

The Faithful ask for and abide by Guidance

    It seems fairly reasonable until we reach the last two ayat.  The Muslims ask Allah to guide them away from the path of Jews and Christians, who "earned your anger".  In doing so, they remind Allah of his anger toward us five times each day.  Why would they want to do that?

3:87. They are those whose recompense is that on them (rests) the Curse of Allâh, of the angels, and of all mankind.
3:88. They will abide therein (Hell). Neither will their torment be lightened, nor will it be delayed or postponed (for a while).

9:30. And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allâh, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allâh. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allâh's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!

    What are they doing in their Mosque, five times every day when they pray?  They are cursing us.  They are reminding Allah that he hates us and wants to burn us.

    Other chapters are recited, voluntarily,  including Surah An-Nasr.

110:1. When comes the Help of Allâh (to you, O Muhammad against your enemies) and the conquest (of Makkah),

110:2. And you see that the people enter Allâh's religion (Islâm) in crowds,

110:3. So glorify the Praises of your Lord, and ask for His Forgiveness. Verily, He is the One Who accepts the repentance and forgives.

    In the spring of '08, Imam Muhammad Khan gave the invocation at the opening of the Iowa legislature with a supplication for victory over disbelievers.  The following damnable dua come from an Islamic supplications page.

"Our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people." (2/286)

"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk." (3/147)

    Damn right: Muslims have a right to pray; to erect their prayer house where the landing gear landed 9/11, two blocks from the death scene,  there to curse us and supplicate Allah for victory over us five times daily.  Yeah, right.

    They tore down pagan temples and built Mosques on the rubble as a symbol of  triumph and supremacy.  They turned great cathedrals into Mosques as a symbol of triumph and supremacy.  Why is there a Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem?

Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch has made a revelation of the most disgusting hypocrisy.  The same New York City officialdom who rush to facilitate the erection of a shrine to the Magnificent Nineteen who slaughtered three thousand nine years ago  are frustrating the reconstruction of a Greek Orthodox Church [photos and news links ] which was crushed by the debris falling from the towers.  Nine years have passed, still the church  celebrated their saint's day in a tent.
   

    Nay more; Spencer reports an additional gratuitous insult.

In recent negotiations, the authority cut the size of the church slightly and told church officials that its dome could not rise higher than the trade center memorial.

    For Chrissake, get a Godblessed clue!  Reliance of the Traveller, Book O11.5: limitations on conquered Christians living as dhimmis.

-5- may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims' buildings, though if they acquire a tall house, it is not razed;

-7- and are forbidden to build new churches.

    A commentator, miira, posted some links whose contents should make your eyeballs counter rotate. This one exposes al-Qaeda connections to the funders of Park 51. 

    No Mosque should be built until that church is rebuilt and  dedicated.  No Mosque should ever be built within the shadow of the Towers.  Those politicians who kiss the eastern end of the west bound camel should be removed from office in the next election cycle.

Feisal Abdul Rauf: Apostate or Liar?

Zee News reported that  "The Anti-Defamation League joined the debate against the building of a mosque and Islamic Centre and said this is was not a question of rights of Muslims but a question of what is right."

    They quote the Imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf as saying: "My colleagues and I are the anti-terrorists. We are the people who want to embolden the vast majority of Muslims who hate terrorism to stand up to the radical rhetoric."

    That statement is problematic because terrorism is an intrinsic sacrament of Islam.  To profess Islam while opposing  terrorism  indicates al-taqiyya or extreme cognitive dissonance.  Allah said: "We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve".  Allah said:"to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies"[Abdullah Yusuf Ali].  Allah cast terror: "...Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives. "

    Reliance of the Traveller, Book O8.7, lists  twenty acts & attitudes which "entail leaving Islam".  The seventh item in that list is: "-7- to deny any verse of the Koran or anything which by scholarly consensus (def: b7) belongs to it, or to add a verse that does belong to it;".  A Muslim who denies terrorism as intrinsic to Islam is guilty of apostasy and, according to O8.2, should be killed.

O8.1

When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed.

O8.2

In such a case, it is obligatory for the caliph (A: or his representive) to ask him to repent and return to Islam. If he does, it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed.

    The fourth item in the list is: "-4- to revile Allah or His messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace);" By abjuring terrorists, they revile Moe, who said: "I have been made victorious with terror".   How does the Imam get away with it, why is there no fatwa on his head for apostasy?  Because Allah issued special dispensation to deceive kuffar to protect oneself and  advance the triumph of Islam.   Allah said "Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Auliyâ (supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allâh in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them."

Park 51: the Big Lie

Robert Spencer commented on an interview of Sharif El-Gamal conducted by Aziz Poonawalla and published at BeliefNet. The article is fairly long and well. worth reading but I will link to it instead of reproducing it here. I have excerpted one paragraph from one answer in order to expose al-taqiyya with maximum clarity.

Al-taqiyya is Islamic dissimulation for the purpose of self - protection or advancing the cause of Islam. Lets examine what Sharif El-Gamal said.

Are those statements true or false? Lets take them on one at a time for clarity's sake.

* a peaceful religion
o 2:216. Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.
+ defensive jihad
# 22:39. Permission to fight is given to those (i.e. believers against disbelievers), who are fighting them, (and) because they (believers) have been wronged, and surely, Allâh is Able to give them (believers) victory
# 2:190. And fight in the Way of Allâh those who fight you, but transgress not the limits. Truly, Allâh likes not the transgressors. [This Verse is the first one that was revealed in connection with Jihâd, but it was supplemented by another (V.9:36)].
# 2:191. And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And fight not with them at Al-Masjid-al-Harâm (the sanctuary at Makkah), unless they (first) fight you there. But if they attack you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.
# 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
# 9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2).
o 9:111. Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh's Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur'ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success .
+ 9:38. O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allâh (i.e. Jihâd) you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.
+ 9:39. If you march not forth, He will punish you with a painful torment and will replace you by another people, and you cannot harm Him at all, and Allah is Able to do all things.
+ 61:10. O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.
+ 61:11. That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

# O9.0...Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad....
# O9.1 ...As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.

The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year....

* It becomes clear that Islam is militant, not peaceful. The ordinance of Jihad, Allah's purchase of the Muslims for that purpose, salvation through jihad, the fard al-kifaya of annual ghazwat and the clear statements of what the caliph does in the regular course of business make that fatal fact unmistakable.

'A'isha reported that the Quraish had been anxious about the Makhzumi woman who had committed theft, and said: Who will speak to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) about her? They said: Who dare it, but Usama, the loved one of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)? So Usama spoke to him. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Do you intercede regarding one of the punishments prescribed by Allah? He then stood up and addressed (people) saying: O people, those who have gone before you were destroyed, because if any one of high rank committed theft amongst them, they spared him; and it anyone of low rank committed theft, they inflicted the prescribed punishment upon him. By Allah, if Fatima, daughter of Muhammad, were to steal, I would have her hand cut off. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Rumh (the words are):" Verily those before you perished."

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri:

When the tribe of Bani Quraiza was ready to accept Sad's judgment, Allah's Apostle sent for Sad who was near to him. Sad came, riding a donkey and when he came near, Allah's Apostle said (to the Ansar), "Stand up for your leader." Then Sad came and sat beside Allah's Apostle who said to him. "These people are ready to accept your judgment." Sad said, "I give the judgment that their warriors should be killed and their children and women should be taken as prisoners." The Prophet then remarked, "O Sad! You have judged amongst them with (or similar to) the judgment of the King Allah."

It is not permissible to give zakat to a non-Muslim, or to someone whom one is obliged to support (def: m12.1), such as a wife or family member.
