His Excellency, The Most High, Master of the Nation, President Barack Hussein Obama (May He Reign Forever) spoke to the peons of the population.  None of this problem is MY fault, the Great One exclaimed.

"I blame Bush! He spent $1 Trillion in 8 years. And there was the Recession. We had to spend, spend, spend to Save the Nation. It is the fault of the Republicans. Those nasty TEA Partiers. It is the fault of everyone else. I am your King. Nothing is MY fault. It never is.

We need to make the rich give up their money. The Corporate CEOs with private jets need to give all their money to ME. The Billionaires and Millionaires have too much money, I need it more.  I need much more.

Although I am Omnipotent, I need your help.  If I don't get the debt ceiling raised, the world will come to an end.  The elderly will be forced to eat cat food.   The military will not be paid.  Veterans will starve while being thrown on the street. All this because the evil Republicans with their allies the rich fat cats, will not do as I order them to.

Every President for many years has gotten what I demand.  The Great Reagan spoke thus:

"Would you rather reduce deficits and interest rates by raising revenue from those who are not now paying their fair share, or would you rather accept larger budget deficits, higher interest rates, and higher unemployment? And I think I know your answer."

And yet these evil men will thwart MY plans, MY desires, what I want.  It is very simple.  Without this ceiling raise, we will DEFAULT on our debt.  The nation will be destroyed.  It will not be MY fault!  We have only a week.  I need you to call Congress and demand that they raise the ceiling.  Raise it enough so that We don't have to do this until after November 2012 (So I don't have to bring this up again until I am reelected!). Only you, the Middle Class, the Poor need to do this.  Together We can defeat the rich, the ignorant, the Republicans.

Thus the Anointed One spoke to the people.  And they would have listened to Him but for the voice of the House Speaker, Boehner of Tears.  He spoke quietly, passionately, and with a firm voice.  His words bespoke of the truth and the people listened:

"I am not a fat cat, I was just a small business owner before I came to Congress.  I am one of you, the Middle Class, the people who find all of this too complicated to understand.  But it isn't too complicated.  It is as easy as your own home budget.

The President wants us to raise the debt ceiling for the next 18 months. This is so He will not have to face this problem during an election. The President swears that if we don't raise the ceiling the nation will end. We will default on our debts, the old will starve, the military will not be paid and veterans will be homeless. This is a lie. None of this will happen. What will happen is that for the first time the nation will have to live within our means. We will have to cut spending. We will have to trim the fat.

The President refuses to cut the fat, the port, the earmarks. We had a deal, but the President threatened to veto it. We have another deal, but it forces the President to cut spending, and will only raise the debt ceiling for 6 months.

The President is acting childish. He is carrying on a temper tantrum: "Do it my way or face the consequences!" The President can quote Ronald Reagan, but he will never be Ronald Reagan. Nor does he understand what Reagan stood for.

We will call his bluff. The President will be taught the lesson of the Constitutionality of this issue. He will be denied. He believes to be our King. But he forgets. We are Americans! WE HAVE AND WILL HAVE NO KINGS!!!!

And with that, the American people awoke to the truth of the argument.  The did call the Congress telling them to stand firm, don't give in to Obama's demands.  If we can stop him now, he will be destroyed. And they remembered this:

Yes President Obama has become a Tyrant.  It is time to take down the tyrant.  Call your Congressman or woman.  E-mail him or her.  Let them remember what happened in 2010.  You put them into Congress and you can take them out.  Time is running out. the nation and our freedoms are at risk.  It is time to stop the Tax and Spend culture of the Presidents and Democrats now.

In 1984, the Reagan reelection campaign set the standard for modern political advertising with its fabled "Morning in America" series, which included one of the greatest political ads of all time -- "Better, Prouder, Stronger." The ad captured the zeitgeist -- America under President Reagan was coming back, full of optimism and confidence in the future.

Today, the zeitgeist is exactly the opposite. Americans are worried about their future, and about a government determined to implement policies that just don't work. But like its predecessor, "Mourning in America" offers a new hope -- if we can just get our government to return to time-tested policies that can spark a rebirth of liberty.

All through the first year of The Anointed One the people of the land did grumble.

"You are spending too much!"
"Increasing the debt!"
"The jobs are gone, make more!"
"The banks will fail again!"
"The car companies will fail!"
"HEALTH CARE!"

And did The Anointed One listen to the people of the land?  No He did not.  For He was told by Pelosi the Loud and Reid the Inept that they can do what they want, for the people will forget.

So while all through the Summer of Discord,. while tempers ran wild, The Anointed One just plowed forward with His own New Deal.

"We will push it through Congress!" The Anointed One shouted to His staff.  "We will force this on the people."  And the Progressives did laugh.

"We will change the nation, turn it into Europe-lite.  By the time We are finished, those idiots in the street will not be able to change it back."

"For Nanny is the name of the New Welfare Plan.  Total Cradle to Grave, We will do to them as well.  I know best, that everyone can see.  My way is the Right Way.  That is what I say it will be!"

All through the summer and into the fall, the warning signs were there for all to see, but The Anointed One became blinded to the truth.

He ignored the disaster of the Olympics, how His city of Chicago was turned down.  Or when He went to campaign for Virginia and Jersey of New, He couldn't turn those races around.

He put on the tears for the victims of Fort Hood, but refused to call it terror.
He ignored the Christmas bomber, it upset His plans for golf and fun that week.
But when His friend's son received a boo-boo, He ran back as fast as He could.
He partied day and night in the warm Hawaiin sands.

But on the eve of His first year anniversary.  He has received the worst news.
The Fiefdom of the Kennedy's:  Massachusetts has left the color blue.
The Fiefdom that old Joe the Bootlegger bought for his own son.  A piece of land that was the birthplace of the progressive slant.
The land of Harvard (the school The Anointed One attended.), of Barney the Frank and Kerry the Swiftboater, plus other illustrious names.
The Fiefdom of John the Martyr and Teddy the Lecher, both of Camalot fame, did hold court.  Those names plus Tips, remained true in count.

Yet of the day before the anniversary of the anointing by John of Roberts, the Holy Chief of Justice, where He was endowed with the Mantle of Power, did the news break unto Him.  His party just lost the Fiefdom of Massachusetts, and may never get it back.

There goes the New Deal for the Nation.  The Nanny must go!  The people have turned against us.  Our seats will be given to another.  The people have spoken in Massachusetts, a Fiefdom so blue it was nearly black.  The Kennedys don't run this Fiefdom any more.  The people have taken it back!

"We are fed up with your nanny, spending and lies.  You promised us openness on C-SPAN!  You said no smoke-filled rooms, transparency.  Yet you haven't delivered these.  What we want is good government.  Lower taxes, more jobs, less waste, less debt.  We didn't get that.  We want to feel safe when we fly.  Yet we don't feel safer too.  You treat those who cause harm to us like the common criminal.  Giving them rights they are not entitled to, setting them upon our shore.

For all these reasons and more, we have chosen our new champion Brown of the Body Politic.  He is our champion.  He is our Redeemer!"

The Anointed One reeled in horror.  He was the chosen.  He wore the Mantle of Power.  He was the one they had to worship.  He would see to it that the people would have this nanny nation to live on.

But it is too late for the false Messiah He has become, His oration will fail.  For the people of the nation have awakened.  Now they will just count the days to the next election where they can correct the mistake they made in 08!

Why People Are Upset With The Health Care Bill.

I find it ironic and a bit strange that in the Land of the Free, elected officials would be using strong arm tactics to silence dissent. Instead of inquiring why their constituents are upset with HR 3200, and listening to their concerns, they are employing hired goons (union workers and members of ACORN) to stifle dissenting opinions. These goons are not registered in their districts, thus are not their constituents.

There are valid points that the "Angry Mob" as Speaker Pelosi and other members of the Democratic leadership calls them. Points they refuse to listen to.

Here are just a few of the points of contention in HR 3200 that has angered so many: (Just a listing of less then 1/2 of the 1,017 pages of the bill.)

Page 16: States that if you have insurance at the time of the bill becoming law and change, you will be required to take a similar plan. If that is not available, you will be required to take the government option!

Page 22: Mandates audits of all employers that self-insure!

Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed!

Page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process)

Page 42: The "Health Choices Commissioner" will decide health benefits for you. You will have no choice. None.

Page 50: All non-US citizens, illegal or not, will be provided with free healthcare services.

Page 58: Every person will be issued a National ID Healthcard.

Page 59: The federal government will have direct, real-time access to all individual bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.

Page 65: Taxpayers will subsidize all union retiree and community organizer health plans (example: SEIU, UAW and ACORN)

Page 72: All private health care plans must conform to government rules to participate in a Health care Exchange.

Page 84: All private health care plans must participate in the Health care Exchange (i.e., total government control of private plans)
Page 91: Government mandates linguistic infrastructure for services; translation: illegal aliens.

Page 95: The Government will pay ACORN and Americorps to sign up individuals for Government-run Health Care plan.

Page 102: Those eligible for Medicaid will be automatically enrolled: you have no choice in the matter.

Page 124: No company can sue the government for price-fixing. No "judicial review" is permitted against the government monopoly. Put simply, private insurers will be crushed.

Page 127: The AMA sold doctors out: the government will set wages.

Page 145: An employer MUST auto-enroll employees into the government-run public plan. No alternatives.

Page 126: Employers MUST pay health care bills for part-time employees AND their families.

Page 149: Any employer with a payroll of $400K or more, who does not offer the public option, pays an 8% tax on payroll.

Page 150: Any employer with a payroll of $250K-400K or more, who does not offer the public option, pays a 2 to 6% tax on payroll.

Page 167: Any individual who doesn't have acceptable health care (according to the government) will be taxed 2.5% of income.

Page 170: Any NON-RESIDENT alien is exempt from individual taxes (Americans will pay for them).

Page 195: Officers and employees of Government Health care Bureaucracy will have access to ALL American financial and personal records.

Page 203: "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax." Yes, it really says that.

Page 239: Bill will reduce physician services for Medicaid. Seniors and the poor most affected.

Page 241: Doctors: no matter what specialty you have, you'll all be paid the same (thanks, AMA!)

Page 253: Government sets value of doctors' time, their professional judgment, etc.

Page 265: Government mandates and controls productivity for private health care industries.

Page 268: Government regulates rental and purchase of power-driven wheelchairs.

Page 272: Cancer patients: welcome to the wonderful world of rationing!

Page 280: Hospitals will be penalized for what the government deems preventable re-admissions.

Page 298: Doctors: if you treat a patient during an initial admission that results in a readmission, you will be penalized by the government.

Page 317: Doctors: you are now prohibited from owning and investing in health care companies!

Page 318: Prohibition on hospital expansion. Hospitals cannot expand without government approval.

Page 321: Hospital expansion hinges on "community" input: in other words, yet another payoff for ACORN.

Page 335: Government mandates establishment of outcome-based measures: i.e., rationing.

Page 341: Government has authority to disqualify Medicare Advantage Plans, HMOs, etc.

Page 354: Government will restrict enrollment of SPECIAL NEEDS individuals.

Page 379: More bureaucracy: Telehealth Advisory Committee (health care by phone).
Page 425: More bureaucracy: Advance Care Planning Consult: Senior Citizens, assisted suicide, euthanasia?

Page 425: Government will instruct and consult regarding living wills, durable powers of attorney, etc. Mandatory. Appears to lock in estate taxes ahead of time.

Page 425: Government provides approved list of end-of-life resources, guiding you in death.

Page 427: Government mandates program that orders end-of-life treatment; government dictates how your life ends.

Page 429: Advance Care Planning Consult will be used to dictate treatment as patient's health deteriorates. This can include an ORDER for end-of-life plans. An ORDER from the GOVERNMENT.

Page 430: Government will decide what level of treatments you may have at end-of-life.

Page 469: Community-based Home Medical Services: more payoffs for ACORN.

Page 472: Payments to Community-based organizations: more payoffs for ACORN.

Page 489: Government will cover marriage and family therapy. Government intervenes in your marriage.

Page 494: Government will cover mental health services: defining, creating and rationing those services.

This bill is a recipe for death and disaster. Forced Euthanasia, Rationed Health Care, and a Government control of your Medical and Financial records, with no say from you.

Our "Elected Officials" seem to have forgotten that they do not hold permanent positions. They have a "Temp Job" predicated on the supposition that the constituents bosses are pleased with the job they are doing. Today the members of Congress act as if their constituents' bosses' opinions have no merit. Their hubris is beyond measure, with most, if not all of the members of Congress feeling as if their seats are safe and secure.

They are not! No seat in Congress is a safe seat. Anger enough of your constituents bosses and they will discover that simple, but basic fact.

The time has come for the people of the United States to take back their government. As Thomas Jefferson once wrote:

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

It is time to stop fearing our Government, but to have the Government start fearing us.

It is time we tell Congress that this bill is unacceptable to the American people, that if you vote for this bill it will result in a rude awakening for you on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 when their Constituents Bosses relay the words to them:

The viral maniacs on the left can't wait to turn this country upside down with their newly elected Fuhrer...er...president....the great, the wonderful Barak Hussein Obama....gee...ain't he pretty. And hey he makes you feel good too. Wow. I just can't wait.

Mr. Eurobama, the worlds president, appeaser of nations, leader of fools, reading canned deception from his teleprompter, and followed around by his groupies from the MSM like a bunch of gaga eyed teenagers following their rock idol.

Get ready for the "change" that will be ushered in by this maniacal leftist and while you're at it take a good look around at my America, for it's the last time you will see her. The new Amerika is on the way aided and abetted by the usual suspects.

Now I could go into a long list of these criminals but I ask you what's the point?

America seems more concerned about who will be the next "American Idol" or what's playing at the movies or can I get a double Mac with cheese please, than what's going on inside our own country.

While you sit at home watching all your propaganda news programs passing time or running around the mall looking for the next best deal, your local leftist propagandists are busy converting you and your progeny into 'bots...good little sheeple.

Are you a Democrat? Really? Will you vote strict party lines? If you answered yes to these questions then I must tell you that YOU are my enemy and as long as you remain a faithful follower of the Democrat mantra YOU will remain my enemy and I will fight you.

Why do we still call you Democrats anyway? Your socialist circle is nearly complete. The "cat is out of the bag". The Democrats want to control health care, oil and free markets. Next will be housing and food. When salary caps, wage controls, and mass housing are under their thumb there will be no stopping them peacefully.

High Gas Prices and the Marxist tactic of Crisis revolution

Karl Marx, (1818-1883), believed capitalism was the next to last stage in the evolution to an earthly utopia, which would be ushered in through revolution; a revolution resulting from the tensions that existed between workers and the owners of production. According to Marx, the final stage of this evolution toward utopia would result when workers rose up in revolution to overthrow the business owners who were exploiting them through a capitalistic economy. We know Marx's "utopia" and other aspects of his philosophy by their more prominent name: communism.

Marx's predictions grew out of his atheistic worldview; a worldview that made him hostile toward private property and the accumulation of wealth through capitalistic means. Although his perceptions of the exploitation of workers and his solidarity with those workers has been rigorously tested and found wanting by historian Paul Johnson, his support for communism and his hatred of privatization and its corresponding freedoms have been a mainstay of the Left since at least 1917, when Vladimir Lenin took them to heart and threw Russia into revolution.

Like Marx, Lenin pointed to the struggles and dichotomies in Russian society in order to postulate solutions; solutions to problems that were not always there. From roughly 1915 through 1917, Lenin repeatedly decried the exploitation of the Russian workers by the land and business owners. This "crisis" not only justified, according to Lenin's rhetoric, but demanded a revolution that would take power away from the land owners and give "power to the people."

Lenin's revolution against the "greedy" landowners was carried out at the end of a gun. The gun was necessary because the crisis Lenin saw was not a crisis that every Russian believed to be real. But as Crane Briton has pointed out in his work on revolutionaries, Lenin was willing to use force to move his countrymen toward what he thought was best for them, whether they agreed with him or not. Lenin's implementation of Marxism was so stringent, so accurately in tune with Marx's own predilections for government intervention in every facet of life that Marxism came to be referred to as Marxism/Leninism.

Sadly, this practice of creating a crisis in order to implement a solution has become a staple in today's Democratic Party. Although each individual Democrat may not hold Marxism/Leninism as his or her political and ideological paradigm, many Democrats in Congress hold to the resulting methodology and have adopted passing legislation as their method for revolution and their solution for every type of crisis known to man, be it healthcare, the environment, gun violence or energy problems. For the Democrats, every crisis is but a segue toward the passage of more and more legislation, furthering the revolution while enslaving the very people they claim to be liberating.

When Bill Clinton constantly perceived various crises which demanded solutions that involved the passage of a new laws, he was unapologetically using the Marxist/Leninist "crisis revolution" tactic to spur passage of Leftist-legislation. For example, with each violent crime, like Columbine or other public shootings that took place during his presidency, Clinton pushed for more gun control to alleviate the crisis but he never enforced laws which were already established. The National Rifle Association's Wayne La Pierre rightly saw through Clinton's façade and said publicly that Clinton was tolerating an increase in death and suffering among the American citizenry in order to force the people to adopt and further the gun control programs of the Democrat party. As a result, by creating a crisis sufficient to secure passage of his legislation rather than enforcing the laws that would keep the lives of many single mothers and low income families of every race safer in their neighborhoods and housing units, Clinton actually contributed to the lawlessness that made the streets of our larger cities more dangerous.

Clinton's presidency ended in 2001, yet the disturbing fact is that Marxist/Leninist ideology and method of "crisis revolution" has rarely been stronger and more dangerous among Democrats than it is right now. The current revolutionary cry is to tax the "greedy," American-owned oil companies for their "wind-fall" profits. In much the same way that Clinton spoke of gun companies in the 1990s, today's Democrats demean oil companies with their "shame on you for what you're doing to the American people" approach, while simultaneously refusing to allow domestic drilling, to increase offshore drilling, or to drill in ANWR.

Like Clinton, the Congressional Democrats, who have created the current crisis, will allow a certain degree of suffering on the part of the people in order to insure their agenda is furthered. They will continue to blame and punish "big oil" for the rise in gas prices just as Clinton blamed and punished Smith & Wesson for the violent crimes that took place while he was in office. Moreover, like Lenin, these Democrats will try to to push their agenda through even if many of their countrymen fail to place the blame on "big oil." With the backing of the federal government, today's Marxist/Leninist leaning Democrat party will implement their agenda through "crisis revolution" at the expense of the people by using scare tactics, and raw force when necessary, to silence their detractors.

We must pay attention to the history of Marxist/Leninist ideology and methodology. Lenin's revolution gave the people death instead of power, Clinton's pursuit of gun control endangered American lives instead of curbing violence, and the current path of today's Democrats will only result in even higher energy prices and therefore less discretionary spending by the citizens, which will result in a subsequent drag on our economy that could bring us down a notch from our superpower status; the latter of which has been the real goal of the Left all along.

Therefore, whether one considers Lenin, Clinton, or today's Obama-led Democrat party, the bottom line is in the end, the people will suffer at the hands of an office holder who uses "crisis revolution" tactics to further their Leftist, legislative agenda. This means we will continue paying excruciatingly high prices in order to give Democrats the opportunity to pull a bait and switch, whereby they can continue to lessen our oil supply by standing in the way of domestic drilling while simultaneously mounting a campaign against the "shameful profits" of American oil companies. Like good Marxists, they do this in order to distract us from the fact that all the class envy and bitterness that undergirds their policies is robbing us of a burgeoning, profitable capitalist society rather than bringing us into a promised utopia.

At no other time in our nation’s history, other than the period of the Civil War when Democrats supported secession and slavery and Republicans championed freedom, have we been so politically divided. Political unity in wartime has always been an article of faith as rival political parties during the Cold War era upheld the axiom “politics stops at the water’s edge.” Bipartisan unity prevailed even during the Vietnam War as both parties supported the war effort for over a decade and were in accord on military withdrawal when victory seemed no longer possible. Whether we are for the war or against it, we can all agree that it should not be used as a political football for the advantage of one political party over another.

Yet for the first time, opposition to the War in Iraq has become an obsessive partisan effort to lose the war and discredit our Commander in Chief. Wartime bipartisanship has been thrown under the bus. The Democratic Party leadership has crossed the line from constitutionally protected dissent and opposition to willful sabotage. The antiwar opposition is not just the radical fringe and loony leftists marching in the streets burning effigies of President Bush, but has now morphed into the Democratic Party in toto. This is the thesis of the new book The Party of Defeat, by David Horowitz and Ben Johnson.

In 2002 the vast majority of Democrats voted to authorize the use of military force in Iraq and Senators Kerry, Clinton, Kennedy and many other Congressional Democrats made impassioned speeches warning of the “real and grave threat to our security” that we face from Saddam Hussein if the “deadly arsenal of WMD in his hands” is not disarmed. Al Gore vouched for the “secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country.” Soon after the Gulf War II began, and the first operation ended with the triumphant march into Baghdad, Democrats joined in bipartisan unity celebrating the toppling of Saddam Hussein’s brutal regime. However, the pro-war strategy of the Democratic Party soon made a U-turn, as a little known governor, Howard Dean unexpectedly captured the spotlight in the 2004 presidential campaign becoming the Democratic frontrunner as he galvanized the antiwar crowd into a frenzy of Bush hatred and blame America rhetoric.

The Democratic sea change was not prompted by any fact on the ground in Iraq. It was the Dean campaign channeling the mounting rage of antiwar radicals into a political movement of vehement opposition to the War in Iraq and the Patriot Act, which triggered the sudden change in Democratic strategy to oppose the war and brand the President a liar and a traitor. Presidential candidates Kerry and Edwards abruptly changed their positions on the war, and the balance of the Democratic leadership vied with one another to show off their new found antiwar credentials.

The Democratic Party crossed the line from mere opposition to undermining a war in progress. They divided the nation in a time of war and emboldened an enemy by proclaiming from the highest offices of our Capitol that President Bush deceived the American people by sending their sons and daughters to die fighting an unjust, unnecessary war for political gain. The antiwar chorus of the 2004 presidential contenders and Democratic leadership thundered to a climax as they vied for the $ millions offered by MoveOn.org, and George Soros and his vast cabal of radical 527 organizations, which deem that America is the enemy.

Senator Kennedy called the war “a catastrophic failure,” and a deliberate fraud telling the press: "There was no imminent threat. This was made up in Texas, announced in January to the Republican leadership that war was going to take place and was going to be good politically.” Kerry attacked the President declaring that “he misled every one of us.” Gore who lost the presidency in 2000 blasted Bush at a Democratic rally for “betraying the nation” by taking us into a war “that was preordained and planned before 9-11.” Rep. John Murtha accused the Marines of killing innocent Iraqis in cold blood.

The deafening chorus of defeat and surrender has continued unabated up until the present day turning a deaf ear to the news of progress on the ground due to the recent successes of the troop surge and defeat of al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). Still they continue to declare the war unwinnable, illegal and a failure. Senator Edwards called the War on Terror a “bumper sticker slogan” and candidates Clinton and Obama relentlessly call for a premature withdrawal, oblivious to the glowing reports of victories.

General David Petraeus returned from Iraq April 8th to face a hostile reception on Capitol Hill. He delivered a sterling presentation on the growing cooperation of Sunni tribes, the Iraqi people’s desire for freedom, growth of the Iraqi security forces by 100,000 in the past year, sectarian violence down 70% throughout the country since June, decimation of al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) and Iraq’s Shia Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki finally confronting the Shia militias in Basra trained, funded, and armed by Iran, which had been waiting to explode into mayhem since the recent precipitous withdrawal of British coalition troops.

The bloodshed in Basra is a preview of greater atrocities to come should U.S. forces stage a premature withdrawal as advocated by the Democrats. Petraeus cautioned against such a move saying that the victories are “fragile and reversible” and AQI would rush in to fill the void of a hasty withdrawal should the Democrats prevail.

General Petraeus reported the heartening news of the Anbar Awakening movement which started in the terror capitals of Fallujah and Ramadi and is now spreading throughout the country. A year ago these cities were the most violent places in Iraq. But today the overwhelming majority of residents and Sunni sheikhs renounced their allegiance to AQI and have “now aligned themselves with the Marines and the American-backed city government” realizing that “America is the lesser of evils,” writes Middle East reporter, Michael Totten in City Journal.

The insurgency arose in Fallujah in 2004 after a violent mob mutilated four Blackwater security contractors. U.S. troops launched an assault but quickly retreated, fearing Iraqis would perceive America as oppressive occupiers and violence would spread. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and his band of foreign terrorists, al Qaeda in Iraq triumphantly marched in and were welcomed as liberators from the American “occupiers”. But instead of liberating, they seized power in order to establish the Islamic State of Iraq, and imposed Taliban-style rule more oppressive than anything Fallujans had ever encountered. Three years later, Fallujans had had enough and allied themselves with the hated Americans and eventually every tribal sheikh in Anbar came over to the American side. The Anbar Awakening coincided with the troop surge and General Petraeus’s strategy shift to aggressive counterinsurgency operations. Marines are now embedded in Fallujah’s communities, living, eating, studying and patrolling together with the Fallujan security forces. AQI is on the run, normalcy has been restored to Fallujah, violence is virtually nonexistent, and this successful model is being duplicated throughout much of Iraq.

It is apparent that the war is being won in Iraq by our brave men and women soldiers in the United States Military. But the war on the home front that has divided our nation, sabotaged the war effort and undermined our Commander in Chief and America’s moral, rages on and on. These are the great battles to be fought here on the home front by American patriots who dare to challenge the conventional wisdom that the war in Iraq has been lost. This is our challenge to the Democratic Party – the Party of Defeat.

Hillary and Obama, "First"?

The Democrats would like us to believe that Hillary Clinton is the first female to seek the Democratic nomination for president and Barrak Obama the first black man to run.

Oh and lest we forget, the first “black President” was Bill Clinton you will recall and if Hillary wins, Slick Willy could become the first black ex-president to occupy the WH…the dynamic duo…sure to wreck this country…oh but don’t ask a Democrat about that. You’ll likely get “Well! That was then, this is no! Who cares about history or truth?"

Once again deception and misleading information seem to lead the way for Democrats who rely upon America’s seemingly short memories.

Hillary is NOT the first woman nor is Obama the first black man. Jesse Jackson was the first black man to run for president and launched his first campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1984. Shirley Chisolm was the first black [and] woman to run. This election is not historic by any stretch of the imagination despite what they would like us to believe. It is just another Democrat SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)…nothing new…business as usual from the far left in today's politics.

The facts do not back up the Democrats claim. As evidence, I submit the following:

Victoria Claflin Woodhull (September 23, 1838 – June 9, 1927) was an American Suffragist who was publicized in Gilded Age newspapers as a leader of the American Woman's Suffrage Movement in the 19th century. She became a colorful and notorious symbol for women's rights, free love, and labor reforms. The authorship of her speeches and articles is disputed. Some contend that many of her speeches on these subjects were not written by Woodhull herself, but her role as a representative of these movements was nonetheless powerful and controversial.

She is probably most famous for her declaration to run for the United States Presidency in 1872.

GOP Convention of 1872 in Philadelphia

You would expect to hear harmony at the glorious Academy of Music in Philadelphia, the site of the 1872 convention.

Ulysses S. Grant

Indeed, it was so. Only the sweet sound of party harmony wafted from the grand concert hall when the GOP gathered there on June 5, 1872, to nominate President Ulysses S. Grant for a second term.

Of course, there were plenty of Republicans who could no longer stomach the stench of corruption, nepotism and ineptitude that polluted the Grant Administration. But these naysayers did not come to Philadelphia.

Horace Greeley

Those determined to dump Grant created a party organization called the Liberal Republicans. They gathered in Cincinnati in May, and after much dissension and six ballots chose New York Tribune publisher Horace "Go West Young Man" Greeley — a sure loser — as its presidential candidate. Staunch Republicans would refer to the rebel group as "The Cincinnati Sore Heads."

Later the Democrats met in Baltimore determined to elect anyone but Grant. In one of the strangest presidential conventions ever, the Democrats endorsed Greeley and the Liberal Republican platform during a convention that lasted only six hours.

They don't like that veto pen and the big, bad Republican wielding it. I say make 'em cry--make them FEAR that veto pen!

Has this been a conservative talk show host, we would have heard about it ad nauseum. But because he's a liberal, it's only making the rounds on the internet. Because he's from San Francisco, where these sickos seem to congregate, even taking their children to sex fests a la Folsom, it's apparently ok.

Savage raises a good point here though--why did San Francisco's city council vote to basically censor Savage's freedom of speech--while giving an indicted child porn downloader a free pass?

Come Home to Baghdad--Muslims to Christians

Michael Yon does it again. He captures in pictures and in words the mood of Baghdad. It isn't the Baghdad under a brutal dictator. It isn't the Baghdad that was suffering last year with violence.

It is a new Baghdad and the Muslims in Baghdad are telling their Christian friends and neighbors that it is time to come home.

(Today, Muslims mostly filled the front pews of St John’s. Muslims who want their Christian friends and neighbors to come home. The Christians who might see these photos likely will recognize their friends here. The Muslims in this neighborhood worry that other people will take the homes of their Christian neighbors, and that the Christians will never come back. And so they came to St John’s today in force, and they showed their faces, and they said, “Come back to Iraq. Come home.” They wanted the cameras to catch it. They wanted to spread the word: Come home. Muslims keep telling me to get it on the news. “Tell the Christians to come home to their country Iraq.”)

I can’t remember my last shootout: it’s been months. The nightmare is ending. Al Qaeda is being crushed. The Sunni tribes are awakening all across Iraq and foreswearing violence for negotiation. Many of the Shia are ready to stop the fighting that undermines their ability to forge and manage a new government. This is a complex and still delicate denouement, and the war may not be over yet. But the Muslims are saying it’s time to come home. And the Christians are saying it’s time to come home. They are weary, and there is much work to be done.

Remember, over 3,000 families have already returned to Baghdad, Iraq and they are encoraging the rest of Iraqi's to do the same.

Moving along here to what is left of al-Qaeda and the Strategy Page shows us that they are more worried about surviving now than they are about those "spectacular" attacks that get blasted across the news to make Americans think they are winning in Iraq:

As the surge offensive continued to tear apart the terrorist infrastructure, the leaders put the organization into survival mode. Planning and carrying out attacks became less important than keeping remaining leaders and key people out of jail, or a grave. This is why the number of terror attacks has plummeted. The remnants of al Qaeda have fled to northern Iraq, around Mosul and areas near the Iranian border. If worse comes to worse, the terrorists know they can flee into Iran, and have a chance of bargaining their way out of an Iranian jail. Within Iraq, however, capture is either a long jail sentence, or execution. Al Qaeda is the most hated organization in the country, and may have to abandon Iraq altogether if the pressure doesn't ease up.

If al Qaeda cannot go dark and rebuild, they will have to abandon Iraq. That is almost unthinkable, because al Qaeda has, since 2003, declared Iraq to be "the graveyard of the Crusaders." To admit defeat in Iraq would be a tremendous blow to al Qaeda operations elsewhere. The organization is already weakened by the failure to carry out any more operations in the United States since September 11, 2001. Al Qaeda has been shut down in so many other areas as well. But it looks like Iraq may be the last stand, and the last straw.

Note to al-Qaeda in Iraq: Rot in hell you bastards, despite the past 40 attempts, and yesterdays 41st attempt, from the Democrats in our country to hand you a victory in Iraq, you have failed, they have failed and the Iraqi people have won and want no more to do with you.

As news such as this finally gets reported to the American people, support is rising and after 6 months the number of people that believe the war is going "very" or "fairly" well has risen to 44%, according to Politico which quotes the newest Pew figures.

That said, 44 percent of Americans now believe the war is going “very” or “fairly” well, a high point in the past year, according to The Pew Research Center for the People and the Press, a nonpartisan group.

At the same time, CBS News polling has found U.S. opposition to Bush’s troop surge softening a bit.

As for the Democrats (Pelosi, Reid and Company) that would like to abandon those Iraqi's shown above and all that are not shown, abandon them when things are going undeniably well, you can go to hell too and take your defeatist friends with you.

[UPDATE] The Democrats finally admit the truth: They DON'T support the troops.
