A Most Sorrowful Boycott

By Findalis

I love Sabra hummus. Especially the roasted pine nut variety.  So a call to boycott Sabra, an Israeli company, is very disheartening and sorrowful to me.
An Israeli company that co-owns Sabra, the number-one selling hummus brand in the United States, has removed support for the IDF from its English-language website after a video circulating the internet criticized the company's support of Israel's "human rights abuses," according to a press release issued Thursday by the Philadelphia branch of the Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Strauss Group, which recently highlighted its "adoption" of the Golani Reconnaissance platoon and other Israeli soldiers on its website, has taken down its support for the IDF, according to the press release.

Kate Zaidan, a spokesperson for BDS group said, "We notice that while Stauss's English-language website no longer makes these claims, the Hebrew-language part of the site still includes them."

She added, "Philly BDS is asking that Strauss Group clarify whether the removal of the references means that Strauss no longer supports the Golani brigade, or whether it is simply an acknowledgment that support for the Israeli military is no longer seen as beneficial to Strauss's international image. We hope Strauss will confirm that the company now supports the 2005 Palestinian call for boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel."

Last month, Philadephia activists staged a dance around a local supermarket as part of a campaign to pressure grocery chains to stop carrying Sabra Hummus products. The activists urged the supermarket and its customers not to "buy into Israeli apartheid," and shouted "No Justice, No Chickpeas!"

Full Story
Giving into the demands of anti-Semites who would see the death and destruction of 7 million Jews (Dancing and singing  while they kill them.) is and should be unacceptable to everyone with a working conscience.

I have sent them an explanation of why I am boycotting their products and why I hope they will reverse their decision so I can then change the boycott into an buycott.
I understand that you removed your "adoption" of the Golani Reconnaissance platoon and support of other Israeli soldiers on its website, has taken down its support for the IDF. I find this not acceptable. The rational that was given to me was the so-called human rights violations of Israel. Violations that occur only in the minds of the anti-Semites of the Philadelphia branch of the Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) movement.

I support the State of Israel and the men and women of the IDF. I also find the BDS movement to be against everything I hold dear.

Since you have caved into their pressure I have no choice but to divest myself from your product. I have enjoyed Sabra hummus for many years, preferring it to other brands. But as of today I will join the growing boycott of your product.

I do hope that one day you will reverse your decision and support the IDF openly.
If you wish to contact them you can by the following methods:

Snail Mail: Sabra Consumer Relations, PO Box 660634, Dallas, TX 75266-0634
Phone: 1-888-957-2272, Monday – Friday 9:00AM to 4:30PM Central Time
E-Mail:  Click here

A boycott isn't effective if the company involved doesn't know you are boycotting them or why.

Join this boycott and let us see if we can change Sabra's minds to join the BDS and instead reject this idea.

Facebook Censorship: Everybody Draw Muhammad Day Deleted

One of my Facebook friends sent a message requesting links to the groups participating in Everybody Draw Muhammad Day. When I searched for them, I found the links as expected, then I made an unpleasant discovery.
Screen shot of the search word and results.

So far, so good, until I clicked on the first result.

Facebook News Feed

Instead of the group, I got the News Feed, meaning that Facebook deleted the group in a shameful act of censorship.

Only one of the three groups remains: Click the image below to visit it, if Facebook does not pull it down as it did the others.

Everybody Draw Muhammad Day

Its about free speech, folks, even obnoxious, offensive speech must be protected. Islam forbids all negative commentary about their demon, its mouthpiece and the damnable doctrines they concocted for the domination of the human race. Here are the links to the relevant Shari'ah for those who missed them in previous posts.
Muslims riot, threaten and litigate when "offended". Their demeanor and conduct convey important information about Islam. Shall we, like lambs, be led silent to the slaughter or will we rise up screaming curses? I take the latter course. I ask you to join me.

Like Islam, Socialism seeks to protect its damnable doctrines from exposure to criticism. President Obama, Mark Lloyd and Elena Kagan have something in common with Facebook: they think that there is too much of some kinds of speech. They seek "balance". They don't want their boat rocked. Whether blatant, in Facebook's case or subtle, in Obamination's case, censorship must be challenged

Facebook Boycott

A major spike in blog hits aroused my curiosity. My post about the October 24 '09 Facebook boycott over Koran Toilet Paper Roll has been receiving an unusual number of hits. With some research, I discovered that there is a campaign to boycott Facebook for three days beginning at Noon May 19 because of the celebration of "Everybody Draw Muhammad Day".

One event page for the boycott has 7,067 confirmed guests. I found three groups related to the Draw Muhammad Day:
Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!, with 40,319 supporters, Everybody Draw Mohammad Day - May 20th, 2010, with 4,375 supporters and
Everybody draw Muhammad with 1,080 supporters.

Even the high court in Lahore has gotten into the act, ordering isps to block Facebook for three days. Muslims can't take criticism because Islam is false & malignant, and they know it. Moe warned his followers not to carry the Qur'an into Dar ul-harb because we would use it against them. He was right about that. The internet has made translations of the Qur'an & hadith widely available. We therefore know that the Qur'an is partially composed of situational scripture.

Searching Sahih Bukhari for "was revealed" provides clarifying details about several verses. One hadith lets the cat out of the bag.

Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3453:

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I felt jealous of the women who offered themselves to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Then when Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this:" You may defer any one of them you wish, and take to yourself any you wish; and if you desire any you have set aside (no sin is chargeable to you)" (xxxiii. 51), I ('A'isha.) said: It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.

We also know how Moe received his revelations: hallucinations secondary to epileptic fits.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 1, Number 2:

Narrated 'Aisha:

(the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah's Apostle "O Allah's Apostle! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?" Allah's Apostle replied, "Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes ' off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says." 'Aisha added: Verily I saw the Prophet being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the Sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over).

Sahih Muslim Book 007, Number 2654:

Ya'la b. Umayya reported on the authority of his father (Allah be pleased with them) that a person came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) as he was at Ji'rana and he (the person) had been putting on a cloak which was perfumed, or he (the narrator) said: There was a trace of yellowness on it. He said (to the Holy Prophet): What do you command me to do during my Umra? (It was at this juncture) that the revelation came to the Apostle of Allah (way peace be upon him) and he was covered with a cloth, and Ya'la said: Would that I see revelation coming to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him). He (Hadrat 'Umar) said: Would it please you to see the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) receiving the revelations 'Umar lifted a corner of the cloth and I looked at him and he was emitting a sound of snorting. He (the narrator) said: I thought it was the sound of a camel. When he was relieved of this he said: Where is he who asked about Umra? When the person came, the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) said: Wash out the trace of yellowness, or he said: the trace of perfume and put off the cloak and do in your 'Umra what you do in your Hajj.

Perhaps most importantly, we know what motivated Moe: loot & extortion.

8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

I regret that I have no artistic ability whatsoever. I can only express my contempt for Moe's War Cult through the written word.

Facebook Boycott Canceled

While I was composing a new post about the proposed boycott, a message came in announcing the Restoration of the Ban Islam Facebook Groups. Facebook has sent the group's creators a message stating that the closure resulted from a technical glitch.

"Ban Islam!!" & "Ban Islam" have been back for several days, much to the relief of the membership. The latest news is that the creator of "Ban Islam " is closing the group due to time constraints, it seems that he is overloaded.

The Year Of The Buycott

By Findalis of Monkey in the Middle

That is correct.  Buycott.  It started in April with the call to boycott Israeli wines for Passover.  A boycott that not only fell flat, but backfired upon the organizers as seen by the pictures here (hat tip to Israel Matzav).  For every time that a call to boycott Israel came alive in Canada, the community was notified, and they came out to buy Israeli products.

It has spread from Canada to the US when there was a boycott of Ahava products called from the idiots whores of Code Pink.  That has failed.

On World Refugee Day Pity The Idiot, Murdering Arab Day, there was a call to boycott Israeli Products at Trader Joe's.  According to the company, they saw their greatest one-day sales profits on that day.

Yes. The tactic of boycotting Israeli Products is working well in Canad and the United States.
Another anti-Zionist attempted boycott in Canada has backfired, with Israeli products enjoying sales rates much higher than usual.

Anti-Israel groups had threatened MEC – Canada’s Mountain Equipment Co-op - with a boycott because of its inclusion of Israeli products in its inventory. But barely anyone showed up for the boycott, and instead, large crowds of Israel supporters came to buy Israeli products.

The Canada Jewish Tribune reports that several MEC stores across Canada experienced unusually high sales for its Israeli products on Sunday of last week. Shelves with Israeli-made products – numerous styles of seamless underwear and hydration systems products – had to be re-stocked a couple of times each day.

What had been planned as giant demonstrations against Israel in Toronto and Vancouver resulted in tiny-to-small groups of protestors who were dwarfed by crowds of Zionists purchasing Israeli items. B’nai Brith and the Canada-Israel Committee joined forces to organize a “buy-cott” in response to the boycott.

Salomon Rayek of B’nai Brith Canada in Vancouver reported total success, saying that only three anti-Israel demonstrators showed up at the MEC store in Calgary on Saturday, while the next day, “a large number of Jews and Israel’s supporters showed up at the stores and spent a good chunk of money buying Israeli products... I understand that in Toronto about 20 protesters showed up to protest, and on the next day there was a very large Jewish and pro-Israel presence [coming] to buy Israeli goods."

Shades of April 2009

The story appears to be a repeat of what occurred in April of this year at a Toronto liquor store.

After a Jewish non-Zionist group tried to organize an anti-Israel protest in front of the store, asking Passover celebrants to mark their holiday without Israeli-made wines, hundreds of pro-Israeli consumers took the opportunity to hold a pro-Israel festival and bought up the store’s entire stock of Israeli wine.

Brands such as Carmel, Barkan, Golan Heights, Gush Etzion (Efrat), Binyamina, Baron, Segal Dalton and others were sold out within a matter of hours.
What started as a way to counter the anti-Semantic idea of boycotting Israeli wines, is turning into a movement to counter the hate.

BUYCOTT ISRAEL!

It is time to take action!  Time to put your money where your mouth is.  To find out how, click here.  Do it for your conscience.  Do it to stick it to Code Pink.  But most importantly:  Do it because it is the right thing to do!

Buy Israel!

Muslim Facebook Boycott Protests 'koran toilet paper'

A new Facebook group with 374,715 members, We want Facebook to close this group "koran toilet paper roll is organizing a boycott of Facebook, scheduled for October 24. The purpose of the boycott is to pressure Facebook to delete the Anti Islam group: Koran Toilet Paper Roll, which has 3,324 3,325 members. The opposition group, We who will stay online on Facebook all 24 hours of October 24th! has 102 members.

Koran toilet paper roll's page features a fatwa permitting using the Bible for anal hygiene. Unfortunately, the source of the fatwa is in Arabic, and Google Translate made a mess of it so I am unable to verify the fatwa. I have seen a fatwa which prohibits the use of bones, dung, Qur'ans and any paper that might have been imprinted with Qur'anic text. But then, we know what terrorists did when they occupied the Church of the Nativity.

In any case, Muslims are hypersensitive to all criticism as well as ridicule & mockery; they diligently seek to censor it. As evidenced by the number of adherents in the boycott group, Muslims are a dedicated and organized lot. Lovers of liberty must become dedicated and organized or we will surely be defeated.

October 24, 2009 is a good day for joining We who will stay online on Facebook all 24 hours of October 24th! and any of the Anti-Islam Facebook groups.

Boycott: Swift Products

Cross posted from Monkey in the Middle

Please cross post this to your own sites.

First it was Labor Day and Tyson Foods, now it is Swift and more Stealth Jihad. Again and again Muslims are demanding and receiving special privileges not given to any other minority group. This time is a shorter work day so they can celebrate Ramadan.
A compromise reached to accommodate prayer for about 500 Somalian meatpacking plant workers in Grand Island led to a counter protest of even more workers at the JBS Swift & Co. plant Wednesday.

Workers including Caucasians, Hispanics, Vietnamese, and African-Americans walked out after clocking in on the B shift shortly after 3 p.m.

The objection -- a change in the break schedule that leaves B shift workers shorted of hours Monday through Friday and forces them to work Saturday to earn at least 40 hours of pay.

"The Somalians say they can only work three hours after sunset, so we're supposed to work 7.3 hours a day Monday through Friday," said Naomi Jakubowski. "We're supposed to come in and make up the time on Saturday or be shorted at just 36 hours."

"I don't want to sacrifice my Saturdays with my kids -- and I can't raise 'em on 36 hours of pay," she said. "I've got rent, food and diapers to buy."

He said the half-hour evening supper break on B shift will begin at 7:45 p.m. instead of 8 p.m. starting Wednesday and continue until the end of Ramadan on Oct. 1. The supper break will be taken en masse, he said.

The change was reached Tuesday night after negotiations between two local Swift officials, five designated Muslim leaders and three representatives of the UFCW, which represents 2,500 Swift workers, 500 of whom are Muslim.

"This will give them time to pray and satisfy their faith," Hoppes said.

But the B shift workers counterprotesting Wednesday said besides a change in the dinner break schedule, the standard 15-minute break during the 6 o'clock hour of B shift was broken into three 5-minute-long breaks to accommodate the Somalian prayer time.

Bernadino Orellana said the Hispanic workers have staffed the Swift plant for 20 to 30 years. The Somalian workers have come in the last year and changed everything -- Swift management has given in to the minority, she said.

"Nobody should have special privileges," shouted B shift protester Tina Ramirez. "Treat everybody fairly."

Counterprotesters raised objections Wednesday to a pay raise they say the Somalians were given and were bragging about Tuesday and Wednesday.

"Go back to work … get a representative of your culture to come to a meeting at 2 p.m. (Thursday)," she said as the crowd booed.

About a half hour later, Plant Manager Dennis Sydow, Operations Manager Mike Helzer and a plant owner from corporate headquarters in Greeley, Colo., stepped out to address the crowd.

More booing was heard and no workers made an effort to return to the line.

Reports were that more protesting was occurring inside on the kill and slaughter lines, but calls to the corporate office were not returned.

The counterprotesters finally broke up and marched from the Swift parking lot to Grand Island City Hall at about 6 p.m. The Muslim protesters had also staged a demonstration at Grand Island City Hall both Monday and Tuesday.

Hoppes said the compromise meeting on Tuesday came about after 500 Muslim workers walked off the job Monday in protest of not receiving prayer time during the 30-day holy period of Ramadan during the work shift.

Those workers are of Somalian and Sudanese background, he said. A similar protest occurred again Tuesday, with about 50 Muslim protesters.

The primary concern was for the evening prayer time, which signifies the end of a dawn-to-dusk fast.

Hoppes said other break times during the shift were adequate to address additional prayer times, but he said nothing of the 15-minute break being divided into three smaller break times.

Swift supervisors were to apologize to Muslim workers who were accused of taking too long on those breaks, which some had used for prayer, Hoppes said. An accounting of the break time taken was conducted and Hoppes said the company and union found no violations.

Hoppes said Muslim workers who did not show up for work, walked out of work, or did not notify supervisors of not coming to work will have a disciplinary letter placed in their personnel file.

"They will not be fired, but if it happens again they could be terminated," Hoppes said Wednesday.

The disciplinary letter was viewed by those protesting Wednesday as too light of a punishment.

"If we did that, we'd be fired," said Ramirez.

Hoppes said the union is continuing to investigate allegations that some praying workers were kicked by a supervisor and that a male supervisor followed a female worker into a bathroom as she attempted to pray. He said witnesses to those events have not surfaced and Swift is denying either incident happened.

Ramirez said Wednesday that the Somalians come late, leave early and take frequent breaks and "drop all the time" in prayer right in front of people, so people are literally tripping over their bodies.

"They don't do the work and we have to work double," she said. "It's not fair."

Hoppes had heard the rumors of a counterprotest early Wednesday, but hoped it wouldn't happen.

"I don't think there will be any problems, but there's always some people who aren't completely satisfied … and there may be a glitch or two," Hoppes said. "Really, the only change is the supper break going from 8 p.m. to 7:45 p.m."

B shift workers said the plant has been hampered by the protests this week. Normally, about 400 head of cattle are processed every hour, but that was down to about 220 to 260 an hour this week.

"Everyone has rights. Be equal. Be fair," a protester sign stated in the Swift parking lot Wednesday night.

"We all have religion," Ramirez said.
We all have religion. And we all have a right to worship our religion. But we don't have a right to force that religion on another person, or make a company comply to your religious demands.

Since JB Swift and Company wants to give into these demands, it is our responsiblity to tell them that we are not pleased with it and will not buy their products if they don't reverse themselves on this. It is our money and we can spend it as we want to.
