Obamination: Treacherous Idiocy

One News Now alerted me to a hint that President Barack Hussein Obama "says he hopes U.S. troops can identify moderate elements of the Taliban and move them toward reconciliation.". That story did not include the actual statement. A search through Google turned up a Deseret News story , derived from the New York Times News Service. The Deseret News included questions and answers from the NYT interview, including this, which appears to be the source of the many articles suggesting the possibility of "reconciliation" with the Taliban.

Q: Do you see a time when you might be willing to reach out to more moderate elements of the Taliban, to try to peel them away, toward reconciliation?

A: If you talk to Gen. Petraeus, I think he would argue that part of the success in Iraq involved reaching out to people that we would consider to be Islamic fundamentalists, but who were willing to work with us because they had been completely alienated by the tactics of al-Qaida in Iraq.

There may be some comparable opportunities in Afghanistan and the Pakistani region. But the situation in Afghanistan is, if anything, more complex. You have a less governed region, a history of fierce independence among tribes. Those tribes are multiple and sometimes operate at cross purposes, so figuring all that out is going to be much more of a challenge.

The problems associated with the Sons of Iraq short term strategy are discussed in this AP article published by the Washington Post:. U.S. Unsure About the Future of Iraq's 'Sons'. The same principles of common sense should apply to Afghanistan as well as Iraq.

• You can rent loyalty, you can't purchase it.
• You can be outbid.
• You can not trust those whose loyalty you have rented.

Taliban means students of the Qur'an. Taliban member are Muslims first. They have studied the Qur'an & hadith and practice Salafism. The bottom line: total world conquest & domination, so that only Allah is worshiped on a global scale.

• to make Islam dominant
• the means of propagating Islam. {"His Religion (Islam) is propagated."}
• "the original religion" of Islam
• Islam's "highest peak"
• mandatory, not optional.

Under Islamic law offensive Jihad, when Muslims invade Dar al-Harb, is fard kifaya: obligatory on all able emancipated adult male Muslims until a sufficient number have answered the call to battle. Defensive Jihad, when Dar al-Islam is invaded by Kuffar, is fard ayn: obligatory on all Muslims jointly and severally regardless of age, gender or condition. Muslims who sincerely side with us in Afghanistan & Iraq have signed their death warrants; they will be killed when we pull out.

If they are Muslims, obedient to Allah, emulators of Muhammad, they are not our friends nor are they our allies. Friendship and alliance with disbelievers is explicitly forbidden by the following ayat.

• "War is deceit'"

Do you have a clue yet, or are you one of the lemmings? There can be neither compromise nor alliance with Islam. This is an existential conflict; them or us. They started it, let us finish it. There is nothing to discuss with Islam except the time, place and manner of their induction into Hell.

US Troops To Be Subject To The ICC

This is just another example of how far President Barack Hussein Obama will go to destroy the United States and turn us into a Third World Nation.

Barack Obama may subject US troops to International Criminal Court

They are feeling good just now at The Hague, as the judges and pen-pushers of the International Criminal Court (ICC) adjourn to smart restaurants to celebrate the latest gesture-politics flexing of their muscles by issuing an arrest warrant for Omar al Bashir, the President of Sudan. They are feeling less good in Darfur, from which 10 international aid agencies were expelled in retaliation within four hours of the ICC initiative, cutting food supplies and closing clinics. One man's ego trip is another man's starvation.

But the people who should be feeling really nervous about this development are the citizens of the United States and more especially their armed forces. The signs are that the grandstanding Barack Obama is preparing to subject the United States to the jurisdiction of the ICC. In May, 2002 President Bush withdrew the United States from the Rome Statute which established the ICC. With America heading into global conflict, he had no wish to see US troops arraigned for alleged war crimes before a kangaroo court.

That was a wise decision and probably required in terms of the US Constitution. Already, however, the Obama administration is sending out very different messages. America helped defeat a proposal that the warrant for Bashir should be suspended for 12 months - which would have been a welcome respite for the soup kitchens of Darfur. This is a policy change of considerable significance.

Nor is it the only straw in the wind. Last month US Ambassador Susan Rice, in a closed meeting of the Security Council, supported the ICC, saying it "looks to become an important and credible instrument for trying to hold accountable the senior leadership responsible for atrocities committed in the Congo, Uganda and Darfur". A week later Ben Chang, spokesman for National Security Advisor General James Jones, took a similar line, telling the Washington Times: "We support the ICC in its pursuit of those who've perpetrated war crimes."

The next logical step is for the United States to sign up to the ICC. That would flatter Obama's ego as the conscience of the world. It would also put US servicemen at the mercy of any American-hating opportunists who might choose to arraign them on trumped-up charges before an alien court whose judges are likely to be ill-disposed towards America too.

In a joint analysis by David Scheffer (who helped set up the ICC) and John Hutson (former US Navy Judge Advocate General), the authors wrote: "If the United States were to join the ICC, one would have to accept at least the theoretical possibility that American citizens (particularly political and military leaders) could be prosecuted before the ICC on charges of committing atrocity crimes."

So, vengeful Democrats could facilitate the indictment of President George W Bush and all his senior commanders in Iraq. American troops on active service have been shown in polls to have little confidence in Barack Obama. His overtures to the ICC will hardly reverse that tendency.

My feeling is that a decision to do this will result in a lower moral amongst members of the US military. Every 2-bit dictator in the world (Chevez and Ahmadinejad come to mind very fast) will be filing suits against the US and its military for every imagined hurt to them. Can one imagine the chaos that will insue when this happens? Will it even be Consitutional? Would that even matter to Obama? Or his Attorney General, Eric Holder? Will the ICC force the US to adopt strict gun control laws? They can. They can do anything including changing the US Constitution to suit their purposes.

This a bad idea from a man who is suppose to be an expert on the US Constitution and its laws. That what Obama claimed to be when he ran for election. A Constitutional Scholar. Yet when pushed on the actual issues in the Constitution, he cannot remember a single thing about that document.

On January 20, 2009 Barack Hussein Obama took the following oath:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Would giving sovereignty of US courts to the ICC not violate that oath? In Obama's eyes the answer is NO. In the eyes of every member of the US Armed Forces the answer would be YES. And to the Supreme Court of the United States? Who knows. That will depend on whether he can stack the Court in his favor.

This is a bad idea, and if this is brought to the Senate as a treaty, it must never be ratified.

TODAY, March 8, 2009, is International Women's Day, an appropriate time to bring up the most plentiful source of women's rights violations around the world: Shari'a law. The human rights organization, REAL, is holding a rally today in Washington, D.C. to address the challenge of the women oppressed and killed, even in America, because of Shari'a law.

We will be holding a Washington DC rally on March 8 at the front of the Capitol Reflecting Pool beginning at 1 PM to address the global challenge of women oppressed and killed in the name of Islamic supremacism. A woman's testimony is worth half as much as a man's.

2:282. O you who believe! When you contract a debt for a fixed period, write it down. Let a scribe write it down in justice between you. Let not the scribe refuse to write as Allâh has taught him, so let him write. Let him (the debtor) who incurs the liability dictate, and he must fear Allâh, his Lord, and diminish not anything of what he owes. But if the debtor is of poor understanding, or weak, or is unable himself to dictate, then let his guardian dictate in justice. And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her. And the witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (for evidence). You should not become weary to write it (your contract), whether it be small or big, for its fixed term, that is more just with Allâh; more solid as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves, save when it is a present trade which you carry out on the spot among yourselves, then there is no sin on you if you do not write it down. But take witnesses whenever you make a commercial contract. Let neither scribe nor witness suffer any harm, but if you do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So be afraid of Allâh; and Allâh teaches you. And Allâh is the All-Knower of each and everything.

UJVSS Targets Anti-Islam Sentiments

The Martlett.ca, The University of Victoria's Independent Newspaper published an article "titled UVSS Letter targets anti-Islam sentiments", dated March 01/2009, under the byline of Kailey Willetts.

The article discusses a letter from the UVic Students' Society to the Equity and Human Rights Office. It quotes the letter as saying that the anti-Islamic materials posted by Lorenzo Bouchard "promote discrimination and hate toward Muslims".

The article does not explain how a cartoon depicting the IDF protecting a baby contrasted with Hamas using a baby as a shield promotes discrimination and hate. Neither does it explain how Mr. Bouchard's petition to the World Court promotes discrimination and hate.

The posting of the cartoon & petition is described as dreating "such a hostile and hateful environment which student, staff and faculty should not be subjected to".

Another quote:"It goes against the policies and it goes against our university culture as well. We want to have those tough discussions and tough talks, but it also nreets to be in a way that is respectful and in a way that won't prevent others from being heard, and we feel that this material does."

How do the cartoon and petition prevent anyone from being heard? Did Lorenzo remove any other postings? Did he muzzle anyone? Only Lorenzo's speech is being squelched in this case.

A request was made that anyone finding potentially hateful material on campus present it to Campus Security. I wonder how many Korans will be turned in?.
Most likely, enjunctions to fight Jews & Christians until we are subjugated and extorted don't threaten or offend anyone under University standards of hate speech.

The article reports that a Human Rights forum called "Equity and Speech--Walking the Walk and Talking the Talk" will be held Tuesday, March 10 in Room C122 of the David Strong Building from 4:30 to 5 p.m. I hope that some of our Canadian readers will see fit to join in that discussion and tell us about their experiences there.

A Martlet article dated Feb. 6 describes the one discovery and removal of the cartoon and launches into a hateful anti-Israeli screed.

The war on terror equals a war on Islam!

The article is attributed to Tom Fowler, founder of the Conservative Constitutionalist Party.

There is no war on Islam, there is a war, initiated by Islam, against all non-Muslims. This war flows directly from Allah's Jihad imperatives recorded in Surahs Al-Anfal & At-Taubah, which are reflected in Umdat as-Salik O9.8 & O9.9.

These two paragraphs precede the conclusion of the article.

In America we must start by banning Islam and outlawing Muslim schools and the Quran. Then we must deport or imprison those who teach and/or practice Islam. Drastic? Absolutely, but there is no other way. This is not a freedom of religion issue. It is a survival issue. If this makes me a bigot then so be it. I believe it makes me a realist. I think deep down you all know that what I say is true, but you are too afraid of being labeled a bigot to admit it. But from where I stand, the security and preservation of America is much more important than what someone thinks of me.

Does the banning of Islam run counter to the constitution? Certainly. That is why we need a constitutional amendment which would specifically ban Islam within the borders of America.

I must take issue with a few points.

• This is not a freedom of religion issue.

In part it is, but primarily a right to life issue. This is how freedom of religion is involved: If Muslims have a 'right' to practice Islam here then we have no freedom of religion neither do we have a right to life or property.

Only Allah has the right to be worshiped.

9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

If you worship any other than Allah in any other manner or form than Moe did, then you are a rebel against Allah, to be punished, humiliated, tormented and gathered into Hell.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah."...

Our blood and property are not sacred to Muslims until we become Muslims. Allah declared open season on us. Have you not read 9:29?

9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2).

Muslims are obligated to make war upon us, to mount a minimum of one military expedition in every year. Failing to do so when it is possible is sinful. But of course, I'm a liar. Yeah, wrong! Umdat as-Salik, the hand book of Shari'ah:

O9.1: The Obligatory Character of Jihad

Jihad is a communal obligation (def: c3.2). When enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others (O: the evidence for which is the Prophet's saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),

"He who provides the equipment for a soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad,"

and Allah Most High having said:

"Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah's path with their property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to each, Allah has promised great good" (Koran 4:95).

If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.

The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year.

• Does the banning of Islam run counter to the constitution? Certainly. That is why we need a constitutional amendment which would specifically ban Islam within the borders of America.

We need to amend the Constitution to acknowledge the fact that Islam is a war cult, not a legitimate religion, and, as such, not covered by the umbrella of first amendment protection. If you doubt that, then read What's Wrong With Islam/Muslims?
