Barenaked Islam posted an article about a campaign to counter  SOIA's  Refuge From Islam bus advertisements.  BNI linked to Atlas Shrugs, where large, clear photos of the bus advertisements are displayed.

    Geller also posted a video of a joint interview with Dr. Waseem Sayed, an Ahmadiyya leader. The video is not pleasant viewing.  The interviewer is shrill and frequently interrupts Pamela, not allowing her to finish her answers.  Dr. Sayed got away with making  gross misstatements of material fact, unchallenged.

Muslimsforpeace.org claims:

• love for all
• hatred for none

    A visit to http://www.muslimsforpeace.org/  discloses the fact that the outfit is part of  Ahmadiyya, a heretical sect.  On that site, they make more malignant claims.

• Islam is peace
• we condemn terrorism
• Jihad: self defense only
• separation of church and state
• universal human rights

    Regular Muslims pronounced takfir on Ahmadiyya, because its founder claimed to be the Mahdi.  The sect is a persecuted minority in Asia.

    Love for all they say; what does Allah say? Who does Allah love?

• Al-Muhsinûn those who do good, defined as participating in and financing jihad.  2:195  
• Al-Muttaqûn the pious who fulfill their contracts 3:76
• As-Sâbirin the patient ones who fight without weakening and degrading themselves  3:146
• those who put their trust in him 3:160
• Allah cursed the Jews but loves the  Al­Muhsinûn 5:12-13 
• those who are equitable among the believers 49:9
• those who fight in His Cause in rows (ranks) as if they were a solid structure  61:4

Allah only loves Muslims.

    Hatred for none, they say; what did Moe say?

• "None loves the Ansar but a believer, and none hates them but a hypocrite. So Allah will love him who loves them, and He will hate him who hates them." Sahih Bukhari 5.58.127

• "When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion. " Sunan Abu Dawud  23.3455

    Islam says "we condemn terrorism".  What  does Allah say?

• "We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve" 3:151
• "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes." 8:12
• "Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of God and your enemies" 8:60
• "Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives. " 33:26
• " But Allah's (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers." 59:2

    What did Moe say?

• "Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. " Sahih Bukhari 1.7.331
• " have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy)" Sahih Bukhari 4.52.220

Terrorism: Islamic sacrament

    Islam says Jihad is only for self-defense.  Allah and Moe said  it was offensive, on Islam's initiative, their "original religion".  What does Islamic law say?

• "Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion."  Reliance of the Traveller, Book O9.0
• "In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.  The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year."  O9.1
• "The least that the imam must do is that he allow no year to pass without having organised a military expedition by himself, or by his raiding parties, according to the Muslims' interest, so that the jihad will only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse."
• "The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax" O9.8
• "The caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim" O9.9

Jihad is offensive

    Islam says that Mosque and state are separated. What did Allah say?

• "33:36. It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error. " 33:36

    Islam says that it supports universal human rights.  What did Moe say?

• Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
  Narrated Anas bin Malik:
  Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have." 

Are our blood and property sacred to Muslims?  Do we have the same rights that Muslims have?  How do we obtain those rights?   If you can correctly answer those three crucial questions, then you have learned something; important knowledge which you must  share with others.  If you can not answer those questions, you need to read the hadith reproduced immediately above.  If that does not solve the problem, you need a remedial reading course.

    You now know that each and every one of the claims made by "Muslims for peace"  in their advertisement and on their web site is malignant malarkey.  Lets review:

Allah only loves Muslims.

Terrorism: Islamic sacrament

Jihad is offensive

Moe united spiritual & temporal power

Our blood and property are not sacred to Muslims

Obamination: Denial of Justice-KSM Trial

An Associated Press story, published by Yahoo! News. asserts that Obamination is delaying announcement of a decision concerning the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and four co-defendants.  The trial arrangements will not be announced until after the general election in November, for obvious reasons.  

    This is an abomination, an intolerable offense which should prompt voters to reject all Democrats & Rinos, replacing the incumbents with  honest statesmen endorsed by the TEA Party movement.

    The five active participants in the planning & execution of the accursed abomination  submitted  their statement to a military tribunal.  In that statement, they proudly acknowledged their premeditated guilt.  There is no need for a trial beyond verification of the authenticity of that confession.

    Their case does not belong in the domestic criminal justice system because their act was planned offshore by aliens acting in obedience to Islamic doctrine enshrined in the Qur'an, confirmed and exemplified in the hadith and codified in Shari'ah.  Theirs was an act of war, not a common criminal offense.

    All that is needed is proof of their identity, act and intent before ushering them into Hell, where they belong.  A previous blog post,  published December 11, '09, discusses the confession in detail and relates it to the damnable doctrines of Islam.  Because of the importance of this issue, I reproduce it in full.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and his four compatriots awaiting a Federal Court trial in N.Y.C.  for their participation in the planning & execution of the attacks on the WTC  & Pentagon submitted a response to to the accusations against them.  The content of that response clearly establishes both their guilt and that of the demon's war cult whose doctrines motivated their evil act.

    In this post I will quote the response out of context interspersing my comments.  If you want to read the entire response to the accusations, click the link above. Notice how they open their statement.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

They are asserting demonic sanction for their foul deed, claiming to speak and have acted for it.

With regards to these nine accusations that you are putting us on trial for; to us, they are not accusations. To us they are badges of honor, which we carry with pride. Many thanks to God, for his kind gesture, and choosing us to perform the act of Jihad for his cause and to defend Islam and Muslims.

Organizing the hijacking of commercial passenger aircraft, murdering the flight crews and flying them into occupied structures is a "badge of honor" to none but demon spawn. They thank Allah, the demon, for choosing them to perform an act of  Jihad for his cause; in defense of Islam. That expression acknowledges their guilt, but they do not own it as guilt, they wear it with pride.

Therefore, killing you and fighting you, destroying you and terrorizing you, responding back to your attacks, are all considered to be great legitimate duty in our religion.

Fighting & terrorizing us is a  great legitimate duty in their religion. Where would they get such an idea? Could it be the Qur'an? Could it be the hadith? Could it be the Sira? Could it be Shari'ah?  Or is it all of those?

Nevertheless, it would have been the greatest religious duty to fight you over your infidelity.

It is their duty to fight us because we do not believe in and submit to their demon, Allah. If that is the case, it is the duty of every Muslim to attack us whenever the opportunity arises.  Is it? What did Allah and his Messenger say about this issue?

• 2:216. Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.
• 8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do. 
• 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

  Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' Do those words mean what they say or not? Turn to Islamic law: Reliance of the Traveller, for confirmation.

• O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad
  The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,
  "Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled" (Koran 9.29),[...]

Allah said it, Moe confirmed it; Shari'ah codified it. Now the accused have confirmed it; what further proof do you need? Once in possession of this knowledge, how can you tolerate the existence of Islam?

    After laying down their cause of action in the preamble, they answer the accusation of conspiracy.

This is a very laughable accusation. Were you expecting us to inform you about our secret attack plans? Your intelligence apparatus, with all its abilities, human and logistical, had failed to discover our military attack plans before the blessed 11 September operation. They were unable to foil our attack. We ask, why then should you blame us, holding us accountable and putting us on trial? Blame yourselves and your failed intelligence apparatus and hold them accountable, not us.

They had secret plans, and consider themselves innocent because we could not detect and interpret those plans.  They call the abomination 'blessed'. Can anything be more perverse and evil?  Why should the perpetrators be blamed?  Blame the defenders instead.   This blame the victims mentality; the role reversal, is a clear sign of AssWholliness.

With regards to us, we were exercising caution and secrecy in our war against you. This is a natural matter, where God has taught us in his book, verse 71 from An-Nisa: ((0 you believers! Toke your precautions, and either go forth (on on expedition) in parties, or go forth together.))  Also, as the prophet has stated: "War is to deceive."

They acknowledge the fact that Islam is waging war against us in the demon's name.

With regards to the second, third, and forth accusations; "Attacking civilians," "Attacking civilian objects," and "deliberately causing grave bodily harm":

We ask you; who initiated the attacks on civilians? Who is attacking civilian objects? And who is causing grave bodily harm against civilians? Is it us, or is it you?

This prime example of argumentum tu-quoque shows us the second reason  why the demon spawn should not be granted a civilian trial: their attempt to reverse the roles and put us on trial.  The best response to their contumacious attitude is to drown them in a septic tank, without any trial. They present a list of irrelevant accusations, in order to distract attention from the fatal fact that attacking us is their 'religious' obligation because we do not worship their demon.

In fact, it was you who had wiped out two entire cities off the face of the earth and killed roughly half a million people in a few minutes and caused grave bodily harm by nuclear radiation? Did you forget  about your nuclear bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

Our termination of the war in the Pacific was an act of self defense, not aggression. That history is entirely irrelevant to the issue of Islam's act of genocidal conquest against us.  They accuse us of initiating the war, overlooking the attacks by the Barbary Pirates when this nation was young and had no external military presence.

With regards to accusations five and six. "Crimes in violation of the law of war." and "Destroying property in violation of the law of war":

Who is breaking the law of war in this world? Is it us, or is it you? You have disobeyed all heaven and earth's laws of war, to include your own laws. You have violated the law of war by supporting the Israeli occupation of Arab land in Palestine and
Lebanon, and for displacing five million Palestinians outside their land. You have supported the oppressor over the oppressed and the butcher over the victim.

Here we have a combination of  role reversal and moral inversion. Israel was invaded and occupied by Islam in 638. It is Israel that is illegally occupied, by Muslims. Israel has every right to expel the illegal occupation and defend herself against her attackers.

Also, you have violated the law of war by attacking an independent sovereign Arab nation with you first crusade campaign in 1991. By force, you have occupied the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf. In addition, today, you are occupying Iraq and Afghanistan.

Can anything surpass this contumacious expression of AssWholliness? It was Saddam Hussein who attacked  Kuwait, we came to Kuwait's defense. We retaliated against Afghanistan & Iraq because they were complicit in the second attack on the WTC. Claiming the consequence of their aggression as an excuse for it  flies in the face of reason & justice. It can not and must not be accepted!

We do not possess your military might, not your nuclear weapons. Nevertheless, we fight you with the almighty God. So, if our act of Jihad and our fighting with you caused fear and terror, then many thanks to God, because it is him that has thrown fear into your hearts, which resulted in your infidelity, paganism, and your statement that God had a son and your trinity beliefs.
God stated in his book, verse 151, AI-Umran: ((Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, for that they joined companies with Allah, for which he has sent no authority; There place will be the fire; and evil is the home of the wrongdoers.))

Once again reversing the roles, they accuse us of terrorism, then they claim their demon as a weapon against us and cite his prophesy of terror.

So, our religion is a religion of fear and terror to the enemies of God: the Jews, Christians, and pagans. With God's wiling, we are terrorists to the bone. So, many thanks to God.

Such a fine reply to the charge of terrorism! No further confession is needed.

Verse 195, AI-Baqara: ((And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to your destruction, but do good; for Allah loves those who do good.))We ask to be near to God, we fight you and destroy you and terrorize you. The Jihad in god's cause is a great duty in our religion. We have news for you, the news is: You will be greatly defeated in Afghanistan and Iraq and that America will fall, politically, militarily, and economically. Your end is very near and your fall will be just as the fall of the towers on the blessed 9/11 day. We will raise from the ruins, God willing. We will leave this imprisonment with our noses raised high in dignity, as the lion emerges from his den. We shall pass over the blades of the sword into the gates of heaven. So we ask from God to accept our contributions to the great attack, the great attack on America, and to
place our nineteen martyred brethren among the highest peaks in paradise. God is great and pride for God, the prophet, and the believers....

 Yet they conclude with another confession. What need is there for a trial? Why waste the money? Why give them a platform for their damnable lies and false allegations?  Why risk the chance that their compatriots will take hostages to force us to release them?
   
    Let justice be done instead. Force them to dig pit toilets in Central Park, stake them out in the pits, erect outhouses over them and hold a big picnic every day in the week of the next 9/11 anniversary.  When the pits are full, replace the outhouses with apple trees.

    Besides doing justice in the matter of those five captured terrorists, we must recognize the fatal fact that Islam, as preached and practiced by its founder, is the enemy that attacked us and which will continue to attack us so long as it continues to exist. We must cast its votaries and its institutions out of this nation and bar their re-entry.

    Those who seek to appease Islam; who defend it, asserting that it is a 'great religion' or that it has been 'hijacked' are not patriots, they are traitors. The elected officials among them must be impeached and removed from office.

Islam as Perpetual Predation

Gordon Osmond, writing at Open Salon, discusses "Islam as Religion"  His second paragraph raises an important issue and fails to settle it.

Even if this bridge is crossed, however, and even if Islam is characterized as a religion, it certainly does not follow that parts of that religion which comprise "law" should be given any degree of precedence over or protection from United States law and basic United States values.  The United States has earned the right to consider those laws and values sacrosanct.

    Islamic law encompasses all of human life, it is not limited to religious issues.  That is because Islam is a complete, all encompassing way of life, not a religion.  That way of life is predatory, and its pray are  those who disbelieve.  Book O defines jihad, describing its obligatory nature and objectives.  Did you notice the two classes of people  upon whom war is waged?  Did you notice the rules regarding spoilation  and the  division of spoils?   For those who can not connect the data points, I present links to a few relevant ayat and one relevant hadith.

Why does the "religion of peace" have laws fixing the allocation of spoils?  Why did Allah give Moe special dispensation to collect spoils?   For those who can not connect the data points, I present another saying.

Sunan Abu Dawud Book 23, Number 3455:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

    Two alternative ways of life are presented, agriculture and jihad. What is the consequence of rejecting jihad in favor of agriculture?  What is their "original religion"?

    Osmond's concluding paragraph brings up an extremely important issue; I added emphasis to the critical clause.

Religion is basically a matter of believing in spooky people and things, and there's probably nothing spookier than Islamic spooks.  But as long as these beliefs do not threaten the concepts of human dignity and freedom, there's probably no harm done in considering Islam, as a general matter, a religion.  But strings attached there certainly are. 

    Does Islam threaten human dignity and freedom?  Two ayat contain jihad imperatives:

Does waging war  against us impair our dignity and freedom?  Consider  what Moe said about the matter,  paying special attention to the clauses I emphasized.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."

Are our blood and property sacred to Muslims?  How do we obtain human rights?    If you can accurately answer those two questions, you will understand how Islam conflicts with our dignity  & rights.   It will then be clear to you exactly why Islam can not fit under the umbrella of  the free exercise clause.

The Qur'an is the foundational text of Islam. It is approximately one third as long as the Bible. It contains much redundancy, little context and no chronology.
Reading Surahs 2,3 &4 is essential to understanding Islamic jihad & misogyny. The second Surah deals mainly with defensive & retaliatory fighting. Surahs 8 & 9 contain the imperatives for global conquest. Surahs 47, 48 & 61 add some important reinforcing details.

The Qur'an is available free on line in many languages, translations and formats. The Muslim Student Association at USC hosts three parallel translations: Pickthall, Shakir & Abdullah Yusuf Ali without commentary.

The Skeptic's Annotated Quran presents Pickthall's translation with a graphic index in the right sidebar.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali's translation is available with his commentary at altafsir.

The King Fahd Complex hosts the Hilali & Khan translation with commentary. That translation includes parenthetical expressions from three tafsirs. it is reputed to be 95% accurate, excepting only the terms "fight" and "marry". In the former case, the true expression is fight and kill, in the latter case, it is a common obscenity.

Maududi's translation & commentary displays the Arabic text, English translation & explanation and offers Arabic recital for those who want to know what it sounds like.

Hadith are sayings, observations made by Muhammad's companions. They help to confirm and explain the Qur'an and form half of the basis of Shari'ah.
USC-MSA hosts abridgments of four of the six canonical hadith collections. Sahih Bukhari is considered the most authentic. Its books of Jihad, Khumus & Expedition contain most of what you need to know about jihad.

Tafsir are explanations of the Qur'an, verse by verse. Other verses and hadith form the basis of tafsir. Ibn Kathir's Tafsir is the most widely accepted. Qtafsir has an alpha-numeric search engine so that you can look up a verse by its Surah:Ayeh numbers. In several cases, the topic titles will tell everything you need to know. Here are a few samples. Umdat as-Salik is the all purpose Shafi'ite handbook of Shari'ah: Islamic law. It was translated by Nuh Ha Mim Keller as Reliance of the Traveller, a 1250 page book. That had to be a pure labor of love. It is divided into books, each named with a single letter. Book O treats of justice. Chapter 9 details the law of jihad. From my point of view, it is the most important part of the book. Book M treats of marriage. Open it to 3.13 for a real eye opener.

Dr. Marvin Scott's campaign position on Islam has drawn media attention from News8, wishtv.com whose coverage of the issue appears to suggest or hint that Dr Scott is running a smear campaign against Representative Andre Carson in Indiana's 7^th District. Barenaked Islam posted Dr. Scott's position and a video of the suggestive news report.

The position page begins with a densely packed preambular paragraph which I will break down point by point. His points are in the outer node, my commentary in the inner node of the unenumerated list. Bold blue, underlined text is linked to a source document. Links to the Qur'an and hadith are direct. Some links to Reliance of the Traveller will require searching for the book letter, chapter & reference numbers.

• Dr. Scott first quotes the establishment & free exercise clauses of the first amendment.
• Problem: the Constitution does not define religion nor does it list covered institutions. Islam is not a religion, Muslims call it a deen: way of life. That way of life is intra-species predation. Islam's "original religion" is jihad: to war upon non-believers. The religious component of Islam serves a dual purpose: to conceal its true mission from our eyes and to motivate the mujahideen with threats of Hell & promises of Paradise.
• Every American has, and should have, the right to worship in the way they personally see fit.
• That includes jihad, terrorism & genocide, which are mandatory sacraments of Islam. Killing others and being killed in Allah's cause is what Muslims do; therir purpose in life.
• America stands for honoring and protecting that God given right.
• If Muslims have that right, then the rest of us have no rights! Our blood and property are not sacred to Muslims; we have no rights until we become Muslims.
• No such thought or law exists in any Muslim country on the face of the earth.
• Islamic law forbids religious processions, reciting the Gospel aloud, displaying crosses and building churches.
• If Muslim law were to be imposed in our country, freedom of religion would disappear here as it has in Muslim countries around the globe.
• As demonstrated above by reference to Reliance of the Traveller, freedom of religion is for Muslims only where Allah's writ runs..
• Islam advocates the eventual elimination of all Christians and Jews.
• It declares war upon us in Surah at-Taubah 29. Moe prophesies that Muslims must hunt down and kill the last Jew before the gates of Paradise will be opened to them. He also prophesied that Jesus will return to fight the people for Islam and destroy Christianity & Judaism.
• We are threatened by past and current deadly acts committed in the name of Islam.
• Technically, those attacks were carried out in the name of Allah, Islam's deity; Muslims pronounced takbir while slitting throats & shooting: "Ahllah-hu Akhbar".
• We are threatened by those who want Shariah or Muslim law to be honored and to eventually replace our law.
• Advocacy of Shari'ah is a threat whether the advocacy is through dawa, deceit, demographics or jihad. Islamic law requires that 1/8 of 2.5% of each Shari'ah compliant transaction be distributed to those waging war against us. See Reliance of the Traveller, Book H8.17.
• Women are cruelly and regularly subjugated to second class status by many practicing Muslims.
• Although it is an artifact of Arabic tribalism, it is sanctioned by the Qur'an & hadith; see Islamic Mysoginy for the most significant details.
• Honor killings of women are widespread in the Muslim world and happen in our country too.
• Honoricide has been in the news recently, beyond any doubt. Shari'ah declares that there is no indemnity for killing one's offspring. Refer to Reliance of the Traveller Book O1.2-4.
• Omar M. Ahmad, founder of CAIR (the Counsil on American Islamic Relations) said: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant”.
• Ahmad denies saying it, the reporter affirms that he did. Refer to Surah at-Taubah 33, Sahih Muslim 20.4482, and The Good News that Muslims will Dominate the People of the Book.
• Many Muslims are respectful and model citizens, but many are not.
• Big deal; The same can be said of Christians. But Islam is inimical to our lives and liberties, by design. Members of sleeper cells can disguise themselves as secular, Muslims in name only. Secular Muslims can become zealots.
• Radical elements of Islam are funding and building mosques across America and they use our laws to protect themselves while advocating the overthrow of our laws and our way of life in their mosques and online.
• Adjectives such as "radical" & "extreme", when applied to Islam and Muslims, imply a false dichotomy. Orthodox Islam as Moe preached and practiced it is genocidal violence, neither peaceful nor moderate. There are Muslims who are not true believing zealots. There is no moderate Islam.
• Attacks against America and Americans here and in other parts of the world can not and should not be ignored or explained away.
• Those attacks flow from Islamic doctrine & tradition, not from our foreign policy or actions. American shipping was attacked by the Barbary Pirates between 1787 and 1815 without any provocation on our part.
• We are forced to be, based on their acts and statements, at war with radical Islam and we could lose if we do not fully understand and fully confront the Muslim menace.
• "Radical Islam" is a lie; no such entity exists. Islam exists, it is what Moe preached and practiced between 610 and 632. Every implication that Islam is peaceful, anodyne & benevolent is an accursed lie. As a wise man wrote: "Its Islam, stupid.".
• I will not be intimidated and I will not be fooled. I will stand against the immediate and real threat of radical Islam to all Americans and to our country.
• Taking a stand against the Islamic threat requires total honesty: drop the disingenuous adjectives. Muslims & dhimmis will label you "Islamophobe", "racist", "bigot", "extremist" & "Nazi" if you tell the truth about Islam, no matter how you try to soften the blow. So don't try to soften it, tell it as it is.

The web page lists ten points attributed to: Ten Reasons By James Arlandson – August 13, 2005. The list is reproduced below, followed by my commentary in a similar list.

1. Islam commands offensive and aggressive and unjust jihad.
2. Islam orders apostates to be killed.
3. Islam orders death for Muslim and possible death for non—Muslim critics of Muhammad and the Quran and even sharia itself.
4. Islam orders unmarried fornicators to be whipped and adulterers to be stoned to death.
5. Islam commands that homosexuals must be executed.
6. Islam commands that highway robbers should be crucified or mutilated.
7. Islam commands that a male and female thief must have a hand cut off.
8. Islam allows an injured plaintiff to exact legal revenge—physical eye for physical eye.
9. Islam allows husbands to hit their wives even if the husbands merely fear highhandedness in their wives.
10. Islam commands that drinkers and gamblers should be whipped.

1. Islam does command offensive jihad, in Surah al-Anfal & Surah at-Taubah. Obedience to those commands is exemplified in Sahih Bukhari's books of Jihad, Khumus & Expedition. 6. While the statement is true, it falls short of the mark. The penalty also applies to disbelievers in general. Refer to Surah al-Ma'idah 33 and Ibn Kathir's Tafsir of that verse, which defines "wage war" as including disbelief.

8. True; refer to Surah al-Ma'idah 45.

I go to great lengths, spending hours researching and writing these posts because I want truth to prevail over lies. The first point raised above is the most important, one that must not be ignored. Muslims & Islampohiles assert that the citations to Islam's canon are out of context, mis-translated or mis-interpreted. In my response to the first point, I provided links to the Hilali & Khan translation of the Noble Qur'an so that you can read it with the translator's notes. That translation, though 95% accurate, is reputed to be Wahhabist. The Muslim Student Association at USC hosts three parallel translations by Abdullah Yusuf Ali, Pickthall & Shakir. 8:39, 9:29. Scroll through the text, read the context and compare the translations. Those are three of the most trusted translations. Which one of them is mis-translated? How can they be mis-interpreted?

Interpretations of the Qur'an are called tafsir. Exegetes compare similar ayat and ahadith which confirm them. I am doing something most bloggers won't do; I am giving you links to several tafsirs of those crucial ayat. I am also providing links to the commentary of Abdullah Yusuf Ali and Mohammad Asad. Yusuf Ali, Asad & Maududi are deceptive. To verify this fact, you need to read several ahadith. Here they are again: Jihad, Khumus & Expedition. For a broader selection, read Riyad us-Saliheen Book 11, Chapter 234. Then read 8:1 & 41 which you can access through the Qur'an links in the previous paragraph. Follow up with 8:67 and 48:20. 8:1 & 41 tell us who gets the spoils. 8:67 reveals Moe's motivation: ransom money & spoils. 48:20 reveals Allah's promise of rich spoils to be captured. Before comparing those ayat to the commentary of Yusuf Ali, Asad, & Maududi, read these ahadith which reveal Allah's special dispensation to accrue spoils: Sahih Muslim 19.4327, Sahih Bukhari 1.7.331.

Not convinced yet? How did Moe gain his income? The hadith which answers that question reveals arrogance which will outrage any decent person. It has been bowdlerized from Hilali's translation of Sahih Bukhari but Aisha Bewley included it. Unfortunately, it is not a named anchor. Click the link and search for LXXXVII . Bukhari Ch 61 # 2756: ...It is mentioned from Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "My provision has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humility have been placed on the one who disobeys my command.

How was Moe made wealthy? The answer is in Sahih Bukhari 3.37.495 : by conquests. Jihad is entirely about bringing the Kuffar to Islam, making Allah's word superior. Yeah, right. What makes the difference between holy war and profane war? Sahih Muslim 19.4294: don't embezzle the spoils and don't kill the children, because they are part of the spoils. The jihad imperatives say "fight them" and "fight those who" ... until... . You need to deny those imperatives, to declare them false, metaphorical or anachronistic. You have an insoluble problem because Moe confirmed them. He said he was ordered/commanded to fight and that jihad would continue until Judgment Day.

What Dr. Scott posted about Islam is essentially true. Islam is a clear, present, proximate and persistent threat to our lives, liberties and way of life. To the extent that they believe in and practice Islam, so are Muslims. That is not a smear. That is not Islamophobia. That is not racism neither is it bigotry. Religion is about worshiping God; Islam is about genocidal aggression. That is truth. I did something Dr. Scott did not do, I made the evidence available to you.
