Incidents of Intolerance

Incidents of Intolerance A/C.3/68/L.48 Combating intolerance, negative stereotyping,stigmatization, discrimination, incitement to violence and violence against persons, based on religion or belief continues by recognizing . that enhancing implementation of existing legal regimes ... is important in combating incidents of intolerance.

Recognizing that working together to enhance the implementation of existing
legal regimes that protect individuals against discrimination and hate crimes,
increase interfaith and intercultural efforts and expand human rights education is an
important first step in combating incidents of intolerance, discrimination and
violence against individuals on the basis of religion or belief,

Incidents of Intolerance

    What does that mean? To learn what it means, read one of the Islampohobia  Observatory Reports.  The fifth annual report is exemplary. On page 14,"The Innocence of Muslims" is listed as a manifestation of Islamophobia and an incident of intolerance. The conceptual content of the video is confirmed from Islamic sources.

     An OSCE conference last year discussed "manifestations of intolerance"; the following quote from page 14 is an eye opener.
Ms. Emine Bozkurt discussed the use of Islamophobic language in media and political
discourse, including such terms asthe Shari’a threat”, ‘Islamofascism”, “Islamic
terrorism”, “the mass migration of Muslims” and “the headscarf problem”, as a means of
promoting hatred and fear towards Muslim communities.

According to OSCE, the uttering and publishing of “the Shari’a threat”, “‘Islamofascism” & “Islamic terrorism” are incidents of intolerance. The draft resolution before the General Assembly demands enforcement of laws to prohibit the uttering and publishing of  videos and texts which expose the damnable doctrines and practices of Islam. Saying or writing "Islamic terrorism" must not be made a crime punishable by law.

Elimination of Racism and 'Related Intolerance'

 While fools and liars continue singing the praises of the Human Rights Council & OIC for abandoning the 'Defamation of Religions [Islam]' meme, the UN published one of the resolutions that went through the General Assembly like grease through a goose December 19  '12: A/RES/66/144

    Take note of the innocuous title; who can oppose the worthy cause of eliminating racism?

Global efforts for the total elimination of racism, racial
discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance and
the comprehensive implementation of and follow-up to
the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action

    The devil is in the details.  I highlighted a key phrase and clauses in the title; the evils they conceal while including by reference  make the resolution unacceptable.   The bureaucrats redefined racism: it no longer simply denotes irrational and invidious hatred of dark shinned people; it now connotes rational and well founded opposition to Islam.

    Racism is explicitly redefined to include 'Islamophobia' in a preliminary report created in the preparatory stages of the second Durban Conference.

4.  Emphasizes the urgent need to address the scourges of anti-Semitism, Christianophobia, and Islamophobia as contemporaryforms of racism as well as racial and violent movements based on racism and discriminatory ideas directed at African, Arab, Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other communities;[Preliminary document of the African Regional Conference Preparatory to the Durban Review Conference]

    Re-read that quotation with special attention to the highlighted words and phrases.  There is nothing racial about opposition to Islam. There are Black, White and Asian Muslims; Islam is not a race.  Islam is an ideology, system of laws  and military force to spread and establish it.

    'Related intolerance', included in the boiler plate of numerous resolutions, translates to 'Islamophobia'. The global effort is to eliminate 'Islamophobia'. Its intent is to criminalize and punish rejection of and opposition to Islam.

    The phrase "comprehensive implementation of" in the third line of the title applies to the Durban Declaration. Who is familiar with its contents?  Here  is a clear demand for the enactment & enforcement of legislation to criminalize  the formation of anti-Islamic political parties.

150. Calls upon States, in opposing all forms of racism, to recognize the need to
counter anti-Semitism, anti-Arabism and Islamophobia world-wide, and urges all States to take
effective measures to prevent the emergence of movements based on racism and discriminatory
ideas concerning these communities;

    The Durban Declaration also demands that we not scrutinize those most likely to engage in terrorism. The perpetrators of the Accursed Abomination were young Muslim males, not little old ladies.
72. Urges States to design, implement and enforce effective measures to eliminate the
phenomenon popularly known as “racial profiling” and comprising the practice of police and
other law enforcement officers relying, to any degree, on race, colour, descent or national or
ethnic origin as the basis for subjecting persons to investigatory activities or for determining
whether an individual is engaged in criminal activity;

    The Durban Declaration also demands censorship, including of the internet.
89. We note with regret that certain media, by promoting false images and negative
stereotypes of vulnerable individuals or groups of individuals, particularly of migrants and
refugees, have contributed to the spread of xenophobic and racist sentiments among the public
and in some cases have encouraged violence by racist individuals and groups;
90. We recognize the positive contribution that the exercise of the right to freedom of
expression, particularly by the media and new technologies, including the Internet, and full
respect for the freedom to seek, receive and impart information can make to the fight against
racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance; we reiterate the need to respect
the editorial independence and autonomy of the media in this regard;
91. We express deep concern about the use of new information technologies, such as
the Internet, for purposes contrary to respect for human values, equality, non-discrimination,
respect for others and tolerance, including to propagate racism, racial hatred, xenophobia, racial
discrimination and related intolerance, and that, in particular, children and youth having access
to this material could be negatively influenced by it;

145. Urges States to implement legal sanctions, in accordance with relevant
international human rights law, in respect of incitement to racial hatred through new information
and communications technologies, including the Internet, and further urges them to apply all
relevant human rights instruments to which they are parties, in particular the International
Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, to racism on the Internet;
146. Urges States to encourage the media to avoid stereotyping based on racism, racial
discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance;
147. Calls upon States to consider the following, taking fully into account existing
international and regional standards on freedom of expression, while taking all necessary
measures to guarantee the right to freedom of opinion and expression:
(a) Encouraging Internet service providers to establish and disseminate specific
voluntary codes of conduct and self-regulatory measures against the dissemination of racist
messages and those that result in racial discrimination, xenophobia or any form of intolerance
and discrimination; to that end, Internet providers are encouraged to set up mediating bodies at
national and international levels, involving relevant civil society institutions;
(b) Adopting and applying, to the extent possible, appropriate legislation for
prosecuting those responsible for incitement to racial hatred or violence through the new
information and communications technologies, including the Internet;

    What is the meaning of incitement to racial hatred or violence?  How are those terms evaluated in the real world?  According to Ban Ki-moon, they include exposing the nexus between Islamic doctrines expressed in Islamic scripture & tradition and Islamic violence in terrorism & rioting.
Reuters quotes U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon about Fitna:"There is no justification for hate speech or incitement to violence," Ban said in a statement. "The right of free expression is not at stake here."

The Secretary General explicitly said that Geert Wilders had no right to utter & publish Fitna, which displayed Islamic doctrines of jihad beside video of rabble rousing sermons and pictures of the resulting havoc.  The texts cited by Wilders are documented in this blog post: http://snooper.wordpress.com/2008/03/27/fitna-supporting-documentation/

    A/RES/66/144 's threat to free expression is not limited to its inclusion by reference of the Durban Declaration.

6. Expresses deep concern at inadequate responses to emerging and
resurgent forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,
and urges States to adopt measures to address those scourges vigorously with a view
to preventing their practice and protecting victims;
7. Underlines the imperative need to address all the contemporary forms
and manifestations of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related
intolerance, which include, inter alia, incitement to such hatred, racial profiling and
the propagation of racist and xenophobic acts through cyberspace, with a view to
maximizing protection for victims, providing legal remedies and combating
impunity;
8. Stresses that States and international organizations have a responsibility
to ensure that measures taken in the struggle against terrorism do not discriminate in
purpose or effect on grounds of race, colour, descent or national or ethnic origin,
and urges all States to rescind or refrain from all forms of racial profiling;
9. Recognizes that States should implement and enforce appropriate and
effective legislative, judicial, regulatory and administrative measures to prevent and
protect against acts of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related
intolerance, thereby contributing to the prevention of human rights violations;

    ¶ 11 on page 4 is very clear.
11. Reaffirms that any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that
constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by
law, and also reaffirms that the dissemination of ideas based on racial superiority or
hatred, or incitement to racial discrimination, as well as all acts of violence or
incitement to such acts, shall be declared offences punishable by law, in accordance
with the international obligations of States, and that those prohibitions are
consistent with freedom of opinion and expression;

    The Secy'. Gen'l. labeled Fitna hate speech & incitement not protected by the right of freedom of expression.  Take a clear eyed look at the last sentence in ¶ 11 above.  It says that prohibitions on advocacy of religious hatred are consistent with freedom of expression.  Fitna is an exposure of religious hatred, it is not advocacy of hatred!  The enemies of liberty invert facts, law and morality. There is no truth or virtue in them.

14. Calls upon all States, in accordance with the commitments undertaken in
paragraph 147 of the Durban Programme of Action, to take all measures necessary
to combat incitement to violence motivated by racial hatred, including through the
misuse of print, audiovisual and electronic media and new communications
technologies, and, in collaboration with service providers, to promote the use of
such technologies, including the Internet, to contribute to the fight against racism, in
conformity with international standards of freedom of expression and taking all
measures necessary to guarantee that right;

   ¶ 15 demands that we convert our schools into Islamic indoctrination centers; inculcating tolerance of intolerable evil. .
15. Encourages all States to include in their educational curricula and social
programmes at all levels, as appropriate, knowledge of and tolerance and respect for
all cultures, civilizations, religions, peoples and countries, as well as information on
the follow-up to and implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of
Action;

    The resolution also alludes to an ad hoc committee of the HRC, without revealing its mandate.

Taking note of Human Rights Council decision 3/103 of 8 December 2006,2 by
which, heeding the decision and instruction of the World Conference, the Council
established the Ad Hoc Committee of the Human Rights Council on the Elaboration
of Complementary Standards,

Noting also the progress made during the third session of the Ad Hoc
Committee on the Elaboration of Complementary Standards, held in Geneva on 22
and 23 November 2010 and from 11 to 21 April 2011, and noting further the
convening of the fourth session, to be held in Geneva during 2012,

64. Requests the Secretary-General to provide the resources necessary for the
effective fulfilment of the mandates of [...] the Ad Hoc Committee on the Elaboration of Complementary Standards

The committee's mandate is to code a binding protocol to ICERD which will incorporate therein criminalization of everything the OIC is kvetching about: Fitna, the Motoons, International Burn the Koran Day, International Judge the Koran Day and every negative statement about Allah, Moe and their damnable war cult.   Their next meeting begins April 10.  Unlike these resolutions, the protocol will be binding and enforcible.  If you would like to know more about it, make good use of these resources:

Islamophobia: I Slam Islam!

Islamophobia: I Slam Islam! Today's UN email listed a document from The Organization for Defending Victims of Violence whose about us page states that they were founded in Tehran.

    Regular readers of my posts know that I consider every instance of kvetching & caterwauling about Islamophobia as a teachable moment: an opportunity to redouble my condemnation of the world's most evil institution.

    A/HRC/19/NGO/130 appears to have been composed in another language and translated into English.  I am dipping a few choice floaters from the septic tank for detailed refutation.  Use the link at the beginning of this paragraph if you desire to immerse yourself in the sewage.

incorrect and nonsense interpretation

    Only one man was fully qualified to interpret Islam: the man who "revealed" it.  Moe exemplified Islam in his speech & conduct while not "revealing" the Qur'an.  Exegetes use parallel ayat & relevant hadith to determine what each ayeh means.

    Tafsir Ibn Kathir is detailed & loquacious but looking up ayat is not an easy task. I suggest using the search engine at http://www.qtafsir.com/Tafsir al-Jalalayn & Tafsir Ibn Abbas are older, less detailed and have pick lists for selecting the surah & ayeh numbers.

    Moe's "revelations" & sunnah are codified in Shari'ah. Reliance of the Traveller, a 1251 page tome which can be purchased from Amazon, is widely accepted and certified as authentic & accurate by sheikhs at Al-Azhar.  Turn to Book O, Chapter 9 for the damnable details of offensive warfare: its definition, communal obligation, practical application and regulations.

    Risala is the code of the Maliki school of Islamic jurisprudence. It is less wordy and more legible than Reliance. Chapter 30 covers jihad.  Hedaya is the code of the Hanifi school, arcane, dense and printed in an archaic type face.  Volume II, Book IX, Chapter I confirms the offensive & perpetual nature of jihad in stark terms.  The second chapter fills in some gaps concerning jizya: its punitive purpose, substitution for execution & humiliating collection procedure.

associate “Islam” to “terrorism”

    Why would we think of Islam when terrorism is mentioned?  In the '70s, hijacking airliners & fragging airline terminals were popular activities in various parts of the world.  Who perfected those arts?  Who has been waging a war of terror against Israel for more than sixty years?  Who perpetrated the attacks on New York, London. Madrid, Beslan & Mumbai?

    Muslims do not want us to learn of the terror nexus in Islam's scripture & tradition but, so long as the First Amendment is in force, I will reveal that connection. Allah said something about the subject. Of course the terror of the day of judgment is irrelevant.  Note the highlighted phrases in the quotes below.

  • 7:4. How many a township have We destroyed! As a raid by night, or while they slept at noon, Our terror came unto them.
    • (How many a township) people of townships (have We destroyed) We tormented! (As a raid by night) or day, (or while they slept at noon, Our terror) Our punishment (came unto them). [Tafsir Ibn Abbas]
  • 3:151. We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers).
    • Allah then mentioned the defeat of the unbelievers on the Day of Uhud, saying: (We shall cast terror) fear of you such that they run from you (into the hearts of those who disbelieve) the unbelievers of Mecca (because they ascribe unto Allah partners, for which no warrant hath been revealed) either in a Scripture nor taught by a messenger. (Their habitation) their dwelling-place (is the Fire, and hapless the abode of the wrong-doers) the dwelling-place of the unbelievers is the Fire.  [Tafsir Ibn Abbas]
  • 8:12. (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes."
    • (When your Lord inspired the angels) it is also said that this means: when your Lord commanded the angels, ((saying:) I am with you) I will help you. (So make those who believe stand firm) in war; it is also said that this means: give those who believe the good news of victory. (I will throw) cast (fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve) the fear of Muhammad (pbuh) and his Companions. (Then smite the necks) their heads (and smite of them each finger) each shaped finger. [Tafsir Ibn Abbas]
  • 8:57. Therefore, if you overcome them on the battlefield, deal with them very sternly, so as to strike terror among them, and to serve as a lesson for their successors. Perhaps, they would remember! [Dr. Munir Munshey & Dr. Kamal Omar
    • (If thou comest on them) if you imprison them (in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them) such that they serve as a lesson to those who are behind them, (that haply they may remember) i.e. take admonition and avoid breaking their treaties. [Tafsir Ibn Abbas]
  • 8:60. Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.[Abdullah Yusuf Ali]
    • Make ready for them, for fighting them, whatever force you can, the Prophet (s) said that this refers to ‘archers’, as reported by Muslim, and of horses tethered (ribāt is a verbal noun, meaning, ‘restraining them [for use] in the way of God’) that thereby you may dismay, terrify, the enemy of God and your enemy, namely, the disbelievers of Mecca, and others besides them, that is, other than those — namely, the hypocrites or the Jews, whom you know not: God knows them. And whatever thing you expend in the way of God, its requital, shall be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged, [you will not] be diminished anything thereof. [Tafsir al-Jalalayn]
  • 33:26. And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.

    33:27. And He caused you to inherit their lands, and their houses, and their riches, and a land which you had not trodden (before). And Allâh is Able to do all things.

    • And He brought down those of the People of the Scripture, namely, the [Banū] Qurayza, who had supported them from their strongholds (sayāsī is the plural of sīsa, and is that in which one fortifies himself [against an enemy]) and He cast terror into their hearts, [so that] some, of them, you slew, and these were the combatants, and some, of them, you took captive, namely, their children. [Tafsir al-Jalalayn]
  • 59:2. He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banî An-Nadîr) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allâh! But Allâh's (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then take admonition, O you with eyes (to see).
    • It is He Who expelled those who disbelieved of the People of the Scripture, namely, the Jews of the Banū al-Nadīr, from their homelands, [from] their dwellings at Medina, at the first exile, that is, their exile to Syria, the last [exile] being their banishment to Khaybar by ‘Umar during his caliphate. You did not think, O believers, that they would go forth, and they thought that they would be protected (māni‘atuhum is the predicate of an, ‘that’) by their fortresses (husūnuhum, the agent of the verb [māni‘atuhum], with which the predication is completed) from God, from His chastisement. But God, His command and His chastisement, came at them from whence they had not reckoned, [from whence] had never occurred to them, from the part of the believers, and He cast terror (ru‘b or ru‘ub) into their hearts, by having their chief Ka‘b b. al-Ashraf slain, destroying [as they did] (read yukharribūna; or yukhribūna, [derived] from [4th form] akhraba) their houses, in order to take away with them what they valued of wood and so on, with their own hands and the hands of the believers. So take heed, O you who have eyes! [Tafsir al-Jalalayn]
  • 59:13. Verily, you (believers in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) are more awful as a fear in their (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh. That is because they are a people who comprehend not (the Majesty and Power of Allâh).

    Go back and re-read 8:57 in the light of the last highlighted clause in 59:2. Muslms are to treat victims harshly so as to strike terror in those behind them, their next anticipated victims. In 59:2, we are told to take warning from the example of the Bani An-Nadir. Intelligent readers will get a clue.

    Allah's Messenger also had words concerning terror, fewer than Allah's but so stark as to settle the matter beyond any shadow of doubt.

  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331:
    Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:
    The Prophet said, "I have been given five things which were not given to any one else before me.
    1. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey.
    2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.
    3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me.
    4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection).
    5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind.
  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
     Narrated Abu Huraira:

        Allah's Apostle said, "I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Allah's Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

    Allah said that he would cast terror and that he cast terror resulting in death, enslavement, destruction & dispossession.  Moe said that he was made victorious with terror. Can you get a clue?  Muslims, politicians, educators, clerics & the media are liars when they deny the obvious connection between Islam and terrorism: terrorism is an intrinsic sacrament of Islam.

Islamophobia

monolithic & static

    There are many sects; which of the mainstream schools of Islamic jurisprudence rejects the communal object of offensive jihad?  How has Islam changed in the last 14 centuries?  How do you improve upon perfection? How do you change that which is immutable?

  • None can change His Words. [6:115]
  • No change can there be in the Words of Allâh, this is indeed the supreme success. [10:64]
  • None can change His Words, [18:27]
  • No change let there be in Khalqillâh (i.e. the Religion of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. [Tafsir AtTabarî, Vol 21, Page 41] [30:30}

separate

    Where do Muslims assimilate? Where do they blend in, drop their religious garb and language; where do they participate in the labor economy?

no common values

    "We love death more than you love life." Their highest aspiration is stated clearly in the motto of al-Ikhwan: "God is our objective; the Quran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of God is the highest of our aspirations."[14][15]
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_Brotherhood]

    Moe declared that he would love serial martyrdom as reported in Sahih Bukhari 4.52.54.

Inferior

    Could it be possible that there is good reason for us to view Islam as inferior? What Muslim satrapy was not a primitive, backwards, undeveloped pit of misery prior to the discovery of massive oil reserves under the sand?

barbaric

    Why would we associate Islam with barbarism? Perhaps because of the Barbary Pirates? Or could it be because of chopping off heads and hands? Could Allah's bloodlust for genocide have some bearing on this?

violent

    Why would Islam be viewed as violent and supportive of terrorism? Could it be because of the Hindu, Assyrian & Armenian genocides? Could Allah's jihad imperatives in 8:39 & 9:29,. which are codified in Reliance of the Traveller, O9.8  & 9.9 have something to do with this perception?

political ideology

    Perhaps Islam is perceived as political because it conflates mosque and state. Could it be because Islamic law is derived from the Qur'an?

criticism of the west is rejected

    Islamic criticism is rejected because Islam sees  the speck in our eye, while ignoring the beam in its own.  With all its flaws, Western Civilization is far superior to Islam.

discrimination

    Islamic hostility should be used to justify expulsion & exclusion of Muslims from Dar ul-Harb. Unfortunately, our elected traitors lack the spinal fortitude to do what must be done to preserve Western Civilization.

hostility

    If we were not hostile to a war cult which seeks to subjugate the entire world, we would be  suicidally insane.

divine religions

    There is no good reason why the followers of divine religions can not live together in peace.  Christianity & Judaism are not in conflict.  Islam, the source of conflict, is not a divine religion: it is demonic.  Only a demon would deliberately create one group of people for the fire and another for Paradise.  I refer to Moe's creation myth contained in Malik's Muwatta 46.1.2. Only a demon would set "great slaughter" as his Prophet's admission to Paradise.

Islamophobia: UN Censorship Agenda 2012

Islamophobia: UN Censorship Agenda 2012 Call it Islamophobia, defamation of Islam, defamation of religions, vilification or negative stereotyping, it still implies and entails criminalizing the questioning, criticism and exposure of the damnable doctrines & practices of Islam.  The name and the rhetoric change; the intention does not.  The OIC & UN seek to codify the following into international & national law:

    At the opening of the 19th session of the Human Rights Council February 28, 2012, Ekmeleddin_Insanoglu, Secretary General of the OIC, made revealing remarks which expose the true agenda of Islam and the UN.  At the time of this writing, no new draft resolutions on this subject have been uploaded to the HRC extranet, but I presume that one will be shortly before March 20.  I have excerpted the relevant paragraphs, adding links to two previous resolutions mentioned in the speech

Islamophobia is a contemporary manifestation of racism. Combating Islamophobia as well as
vilification of all religions and denigration of symbols and personalities sacred to all religions
is a matter of priority at the OIC. We regret that events representing constitutionalization and
institutionalization of Islamophobia continue to unfold. Most disconcerting is Islamophobia
being used as an instrument of electoral politics. This is a dangerous trend that needs to be
arrested. It threatens the multicultural fabric of societies. It could seriously undermine
international community's efforts aimed at interfaith harmony that could underwrite peace
and security- particularly so in a world faced with the menace of terrorism. There is an urgent
need to initiate and sustain 'preventive cultural diplomacy.

It is in this context that OIC took the initiative embodied in the resolution 16/1 8. This session
marks the first anniversary of the consensual passage of this resolution. It was based on the
eight points that I mentioned during my address to the 15th session of the Council in
September 201 0. I am glad that these points found resonance with all the negotiating partners
and resulted in a process of consensus building. We must now build on the consensus. It is
with this. in mind that I initiated - with the presence and participation of US Secretary of
State Hillary Clinton, Baroness Ashton and other Ministers - the Istanbul Process for a
consensual implementation of this resolution. The process seems to be going forward with
the last meeting held in Washington and the next to be scheduled in the EU region. OIC will
also be hosting an event this year to further the Process. We believe it is important to have a
structured engagement. We must address the grey areas and the whole package of interrelated
issues by accommodating all concerns of all parties. The alternative approach in resolutions '
16/18 at HRC and 66/167 at UNGA has put the decade of polarization and politicization
behind us. This enables us to address the real issues and chart out a sustainable and result-oriented
course of action at the national and the international levels. Recent events
characterized by loss of lives in Norway and Afghanistan underscored the importance of
concerted and consensual international action. OIC has demonstrated ability to build consensus
on the most sensitive of international issues. We look forward to being reciprocated in the same spirit.

Islamophobia

    Phobia implies irrationality.  There is nothing irrational about fear & loathing of Islam because terrorism is an intrinsic sacrament1 of Islam.

racism

    What race is Islam? It originated in Arabia, but it enslaved millions of Africans & Asians through conquest. Ideology & religion are dynamic, but race is static and immutable.  We do not hate Muslims because of their skin color, we hate their belief2 that they have a divine mission to convert or enslave us through conquest.

    Muslims use false accusations of racism to denigrate & calumniate its critics because they can not refute the facts we present.

vilification of all religions

    In the Qur'an, Jews are those who "earned your anger" & Christians are those who "went astray". We are described as the "worst of living creatures". They recite Surah Al-Fatiha seventeen times each day, reminding Allah why he should burn us.

denigration of personalities

    Truthfully describing Muhammad as a lecherous pedophile who married a six year old girl, arranged the divorce of his daughter in law so he could add her to his harem and ordered the murder of critics is denigration of a sacred person but denial of Christ's paternity, divinity, crucifixion, death & resurrection and depicting him as a  warlord who will return to lead the Muslims in the final genocide 3 is perfectly ok.

constitutionalization

    It is nearly certain that this is a reference to the anti-Shari'ah movement to pass legislation and constitutional amendments to exclude foreign law, including Shari'ah from our court system.

instrument of electoral politics

    That is an obvious reference to campaign advertisements and 'debate' statements critical of Islam.  They want to criminalize criticism of Islam by candidates for office.

interfaith harmony

    Translation: submission to Islam.  The sentence including that phrase is a thinly veiled threat of war.

polarization

    The sentence containing that word is a reference to the dispute over the 'defamation of religions' meme. The position of Western Civilization is that defamation and legal protection from its effects belong to individuals, not to religions. Our side views the defamation meme as an existential threat to freedom of expression.  Islam views freedom of expression as subordinate to their sensitivities. Muslims are sensitive because they know that Islam is an impious fraud but are so heavily invested in it that they can not acknowledge the fact.

defamation

    The claim that Res16/18 eliminated the defamation meme and associated conflict is malignant malarkey.  There is no significant difference between defamation and negative stereotyping.  A/C.3/66/L.48/Rev.1, passed Dec. 19, '12 along with A/66/167, emphasizes that "that no religion should be equated with terrorism, as this may have adverse consequences on the enjoyment of the right to freedom of religion or belief of all members of the religious communities concerned;".

    At the opening of Session 19, http://www.eyeontheun.org/assets/attachments/documents/10082hrcopeningqatar.pdf" target="_blank" style="font-weight: bold;">Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs had this to say:

The international community still faces a major challenge
due to the worsening impact of racist practices, racial
discrimination, acts of violence and related conflicts. These
practices have become evident in the defamation and negative
stereotyping of religions, as well as in the incitement to violence
against people on the basis of their religion or belief.

  2. Islam is inseverable, all or nothing. 2:85 strictly prohibits selectivity, making Islam a package deal.  Believers are only those who "fight in Allah's cause", which is to make Islam dominate the world.

CAIR Denounces Santorum's Call for Profiling

     One of my Google Alerts was triggered by an article about a CAIR press release demanding that the GOP denounce Rick Santorum's debate answer on profiling. Video of the debate segment is linked below, and embedded where possible.  Play it twice, once to listen and once to watch the facial expressions and gestures, particularly those of Rep. Paul and Herman Cain.

    The text of CAIR's  press release and my analysis follow the video. Thanks and a tip of the hat to Breitbart!

WASHINGTONNov. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called on the Republican Party to repudiate GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum's call for profiling of American Muslims.

In a debate aired on CNN last night, Santorum was asked if he would support ethnic and religious profiling. CNN's Wolf Blitzer, the debate's moderator, asked Santorum: "So just to be precise, is it ethnic profiling, religious profiling, who would be profiled?"

"The folks who are most likely to be committing these crimes," replied Santorum. "Obviously Muslims would be someone you'd look at, absolutely."

Video: Rick Santorum Calls for Profiling of Muslims

In a statement released today, CAIR National Legislative Director Corey Saylor said:

"Last night, Rick Santorum casually tossed aside every American's constitutional right to equal protection under the law in favor of discriminatory profiling of Muslims. Mr. Santorum's obvious lack of appreciation for the Constitution and for the rejection of profiling by top law enforcement experts raises reasonable questions about his ability to lead our multi-faith nation.

"The International Association of Chiefs of Police and other security specialists reject racial profiling. President Bush called it 'wrong.' In 2009, President Obama pledged to end the counterproductive practice.

"We remind Mr. Santorum that the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), a man of Middle Eastern heritage, would fit his 'profile.'

"It is time for all Republican presidential candidates to reject Islamophobic rhetoric. Just as past candidates have learned the folly of targeting other religious or ethnic minorities, serious presidential hopefuls must reject the use anti-Muslim smears and the exploitation of Islamophobia for cheap political gain."

CAIR also thanked another GOP presidential candidate, Representative Ron Paul of Texas, for rejecting profiling and refusing to sacrifice the rule of law.

A CAIR Legislative Fact Sheet states that profiling is unconstitutional, hinders anti-terrorism efforts and "diverts precious law enforcement resources away from investigations of individuals who have been linked to terrorist activity by specific and credible evidence."

Earlier this year, Santorum called "Sharia," or Islamic principles, "evil." He told a group in New Hampshire: "We need to define it and say what it is. And it is evil." In a past "lecture on Islam," Santorum falsely claimed the Quran, Islam's revealed text, was written in "Islamic."

Last week, CAIR called on state and national GOP leaders to demand the resignation of a Tennessee lawmaker after he suggested in a radio interview that U.S. Muslims should "go back to where they came from" if they objected to his recent call for the removal of all Muslims serving in the military.

SOURCE Council on American-Islamic Relations

called on GOP to repudiate

    The days of the smoke filled room backstage at the national convention are long gone.  The real nominating process belongs to the party membership, not to the hierarchy.  Condemning stands taken by candidates is not the role of the RNC or the state central committees.

    CAIR is engaging in intimidation tactics, trying to cast terror into the hearts of nervous Nellie political consultants who conceive of political correctness as holy writ.  The RNC, Santorum and the rational candidates should denounce CAIR's political terror tactics and tell CAIR to sit down, shut up and mind their own business.

    I swear that, if the Republican Party surrenders to CAIR's outrageous demand, lifting Allah's tail and inserting their tongues, I will not vote for any Republican candidate who does not explicitly condemn Islam.

profiling of American Muslims

    That  is a prime example of misdirection.  Attention of security personnel should be focused on Muslims, regardless of nationality.  While 9/11 was perpetrated by foreigners, many of the recent plots involved American citizens.  When you hear hoof beats, do you look for unicorns or horses?

just to be precise

    Precise questioning is a good thing, particularly in court rooms, but in this case, what appears on the surface, to be  precision is entrapment.  A genuine precision question would not include "precise" in its rhetoric.  I have no doubt that Blitzer was setting Santorum up for this.

ethnic || religious: who would be profiled

    That question misdirects attention away from the real issue.  Terrorism is an intrinsic function of Islam, not primarily linked to nationality or race.  Most recent mass casualty terror attacks have been perpetrated by Muslims.

    Islam is neither a race nor a religion; it is a way of life which dictates every facet of human life, spiritual & temporal. Islam has inseverable & interdependent  religious, economic and military components. All of those components involve jihad. Jihad is the preferred alternative to trade & agriculture economies.

    Little old Catholic ladies and Baptist babies do not commit terror attacks, young Muslim men do. That should be a clue for you.  Rep. Paul cites Timothy McVeigh, the exception which proves the rule.  How many nitrate bombs have been planned or planted by lapsed Catholics?  Compare that to the number of improvised explosive devices planned or planted by Muslims.

     Muslims come in all colors.  Eliminate Islam and Islamic terrorism will be eliminated.  If you want travel to be safe, exclude Muslims from mass transit facilities and vehicles.  That would impede but not stop the Times Square Bomber.  To stop the multitude of alternative attack methods and venues, it is necessary to remove and exclude those persons most likely to engage in terrorism: Muslims.

most likely to be committing: Muslims

    Why would Santorum say that? Baptists,  Buddhists  & Hindus are not turning up in the news for bombings every month, Muslims are. Why is that?  Who besides Moe preached and exemplified terrorism to his disciples?  "Its Islam, stupid!" Why did Khalid Sheik Mohammed and his excellent companions attack us?  Get a clue.

Cover page of confession.
First page of confession.

Obviously Muslims

    It is obvious to Santorum why is it not obvious to others?  Is it not common knowledge that Islamic terrorism is perpetrated by Muslims?  Is it not common knowledge that terror attacks are an act of worship?  Is it not common knowledge that Allah commanded casting terror into the hearts of enemies?  Is it not common knowledge that disbelievers are the enemies of Muslims?  Those facts are objectively true, why are they not common knowledge?  The answers are political correctness and intimidation.

constitutional right to equal protection

    Equal protection of the laws means no class distinctions; nobody is punished or immunized based on his social or economic status.  Equal protection  means that Baptists, Catholics & atheists are all protected from Islamic terror attacks by excluding terrorists from places where innocent people congregate.

    Applying extra scrutiny to those persons most likely to engage in terror attacks does not deny equal protection of the laws. It does not impair anyone's constitutional rights. One bright Tuesday in September, '01, several thousand people had their right to life denied by Muslims who hijacked aircraft.  Keeping those Muslims off of those flights would not have impaired any rights.  Keeping them out of this nation would not have impaired anyone's rights.

appreciation for the Constitution

    The Constitution provides protection for the right to life and the right to free speech. It is CAIR, not Santorum who lacks appreciation for those rights. CAIR demands censorship of all criticism of Islam.  CAIR applies intimidation tactics to close private venues to those who speak out against it.  CAIR seeks to deny effective protection from terror attacks.  This is a prime example of hypocrisy & projection.

law enforcement experts

    Appeal to authority is a logical fallacy.  Terrorism is a military issue, not a law enforcement issue.  Had all Muslims been excluded from all domestic flights as they should be, the Accursed Abomination would have been impossible; 3000 people would be alive and healthy.   Why has Israel not lost any aircraft recently?  How did they stop hijackings and prevent flying bombs?  If you want to stop air based terrorism, consult Israel's experts forst.

lead our multi-faith nation

    How do the leadership requirements vary between monocultural and multicultural nations?  What difference does it make to the Presidency whether we have no, 1, 2 or any number of religions?

    The President can not lead Muslims. Muslims are commanded not to place themselves in positions subordinate to kuffar. Take a close look at Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:51 Surah At-Taubah 9:33.  Shari'ah declares non-Arabs to be unsuitable marriage partners for Muslimas "because "Allah has chosen the Arabs above others". Get a clue.

security specialists reject racial profiling

    Is Islam a race? Allah has enslaved people of all races, so what race is Islam?  Did race play a role in the acts of the "shoe bomber" & "underwear bomber"? They are different racially but both are Muslim. Get a clue.

wrong

    What Shrub said is not relevant; he is out of office and ineligible to run again. Being a fool who said "Islam is a great religion of peace", he has no probative authority.  Exactly what is wrong with scrutinizing Muslims in the airport lines?  Exactly what is wrong with determining the religious affiliation of persons with Arab & Asiatic appearance in airport lines?

counterproductive practice

    Four of our aircraft were hijacked and deliberately crashed in '01; how many Israeli aircraft were hijacked in that year?  Exactly what is counter productive about profiling?  If a white man robs a bank do you draw black men into a dragnet?  Get a clue.

Prophet Jesus ... would fit his 'profile

    The AssWholliness of that blasphemy is outrageous!  Jesus Christ is not a prophet of Islam. Which of his teachings do Muslims teach in the mosques and practice? Jesus Christ did not reveal the obligation of offensive conquest. Jesus Christ did not reveal the need to exterminate Jews.  Jesus Christ neither sanctified nor exemplified terrorism.  Jesus Christ is not a genocidal warlord.

    Jesus was born to a descendant of King David; His heritage is Jewish, not Arab. Jesus Christ taught Judaism in the Jewish Temple, not Islam in a mosque. The place of his birth is Israel, not Falestine.

reject Islamophobic rhetoric

    There is nothing phobic about loathing of Islam which is well founded in objective factual reality. Islam is perpetual war.  Muslims, motivated by Allah's threat & promise, perpetrated the Hindu, Armenian & Assyrian genocides. Those who perpetrated recent atrocities in New York, London & Beslan shouted  "Allahu Akbar", not "Jesus is Lord". Get a clue.

    I swear that I will not vote for any candidate who lifts Allah's tail and inserts his tongue by accepting CAIR's outrageous demand.

profiling is unconstitutional

    Prove it. Show us the constitutional provision which explicitly forbids it.

diverts precious law enforcement resources

    Resources are wasted by searching, scanning and harassing kuffar children and their grandmothers. Resources are wasted by random searches. Resources are wasted by not excluding Muslims from mass transit so that the whole TSA program could be scrapped.

linked to terrorist activity

    "I will cast terror.".  "Allah cast terror...". "...That is because they suffer neither thirst nor fatigue, nor hunger in the Cause of Allâh, nor they take any step to raise the anger of disbelievers nor inflict any injury upon an enemy but is written to their credit as a deed of righteousness....". "I have been made victorious with terror". "...Then do you believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest? Then what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most grievous torment...." Islam is terrorist activity; Muslims are linked to it by Allah's yoke of slavery.

Santorum called "Sharia," or Islamic principles, "evil"

    Santorum spoke the truth. Examine the evidence; see for yourself.  Shari'ah imposes cruel & unusual punishment. Shari'ah mandates annual military attacks against disbelievers. Shari'ah declares that the caliph makes war upon Jews, Christians and Zoroastrians. Shari'ah denies religious freedom, equality and dignity.
