What's Wrong With Islam/Muslims? [This blog post has received 4537 views since it was published four years ago.  Since then, links have been broken by web site changes and new resources have been found.  This post was therefore supplanted by a new page, but it continues to get the hits while the new page does not.  I have therefore updated this post, repairing broken links and adding a few, notably to Ibn Sad's Sira and The Sealed Nectar to make more detailed information available to the reader.  ]

Mercenary Mission

    Islam was contrived for the purpose of its founder's personal emolument & empowerment through accrual of spoils & dominion through perpetual war.  Three ayat in Surah Al-Anfal make this matter crystal clear.  Four ahadith confirm it beyond all doubt. [Emphasis added for clarity.]

8:1. They ask you (O Muhammad ) about the spoils of war. Say: "The spoils are for Allâh and the Messenger." So fear Allâh and adjust all matters of difference among you, and obey Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), if you are believers.

    The spoils are for Allah and Moe; how many stolen sheep, camels & dates can an impotent stone idol eat?  How many captured women can it rape?

8:41. And know that whatever of war-booty that you may gain, verily one-fifth (1/5th) of it is assigned to Allâh, and to the Messenger, and to the near relatives [of the Messenger (Muhammad )], (and also) the orphans, Al-Masâkin (the poor) and the wayfarer, if you have believed in Allâh and in that which We sent down to Our slave (Muhammad ) on the Day of criterion (between right and wrong), the Day when the two forces met (the battle of Badr) - And Allâh is Able to do all things.

 

8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Allah wants genocide: "great slaughter", Moe wants ransom money.  One ahadith omitted from Khan's translation of Sahih Bukhari speaks volumes about Moe's arrogance & avarice, I quote from Aisha Bewley's translation.

Bukhari  Ch 61 # 2756: ...It is mentioned from Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "My provision has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humility have been placed on the one who disobeys my command.

Moe got his income with his spear: by raiding camel caravans and Jewish settlements. Later we will see Moe's 'command' and the threat he made in conjunction with it.   Allah gave Moe a special privilege not given to anyone else: accrual of spoils. 

3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me. [Sahih Bukhari 1.7.331]

 

Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4327:
The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, This is because Allah saw our weakness and humility and made them lawful for us.

    Allah was very generous: he gave Moe the keys to the treasures of the world and he made Moe wealthy through conquests. 

Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
 Narrated Abu Huraira:

    Allah's Apostle said, "I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Allah's Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 37, Number 495:

    Narrated Abu Huraira:

    Whenever a dead man in debt was brought to Allah's Apostle he would ask, "Has he left anything to repay his debt?" If he was informed that he had left something to repay his debts, he would offer his funeral prayer, otherwise he would tell the Muslims to offer their friend's funeral prayer. When Allah made the Prophet wealthy through conquests, he said, "I am more rightful than other believers to be the guardian of the believers, so if a Muslim dies while in debt, I am responsible for the repayment of his debt, and whoever leaves wealth (after his death) it will belong to his heirs. "

Violence

 

Islam is aggressively violent, by design; irreparably. I quote Islamic law.

As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year.[Reliance of the Traveller, Book O9.1]

Jihad is something  Muslims must do against non-Muslims every year. Exactly what is it?

Chapter O9.0: Jihad

(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion.

What is its practical application?

How does that apply to the United States of America?

Between  1779 and 1815, the Barbary pirates were attacking America’s merchant marine, seizing boats, enslaving their crews and stealing cargo. They demanded payment of tribute for safe passage.

In 1786 Jefferson and John Adams went to negotiate with Tripoli’s envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman or (Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). They asked him by what right he extorted money and took slaves. Jefferson reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress:

The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet (Mohammed), that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman (or Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to heaven. Allah said:

8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]….

9:29.Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Muhammad said:

“I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.“ Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387

Caliph Umar’s general told the Persians:

…Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:– “Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master.”… Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 53, Number 386

Compare the answer of Sidi Haji Abdrahaman to Bukhari4.53.386:

• ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya
  • that it was their right and duty to make war upon them
• Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise
  • every Mussulman (or Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to heaven.

Terrorism

    Allah said that he would cast terror & did cast terror. Allah commanded Moe to treat victims harshly so as to terrorize other prospective victims and build up military strength to threaten and terrify them.  Allah said that the local Jews were more afraid of Moe and his army than of himself. Moe said that he was made victorious with terror.  Allah, ever generous to his slaves, guarantees them extra credit towards an upgrade in his Celestial Bordello for any step taken to injure or enrage us.

Objections:

• Mis-translation.
  • I do not know a word of Arabic; can’t read a single character of it. Hilali & Khan translated the Qur’an quotes cited above with the exception of the one by Rodwell. I linked to nine parallel translations for easy comparison.  You can compare more than thirty parallel translations at Islam Awakened. 
• Mis-interpretation.
  • How did Muhammad interpret those ayat?
    • What did he do?
      • Dictated & dispatched numerous extortion letters.  When Ibn Sa'd opens, press and hold the Ctrl key, press the F key and paste this expression into the search window: Yuhannah Ibn Rubbàh and (other) chiefs of the people of Aylah.  That missive is among tthe most explicit, leaving nothing to the imagination. 
      • Waged war upon those who rejected his demands.  Use the Ctrl F key combination and enter, raid, ghazwa or invasion to find the 'good stuff'.
    • Why does each of the four major hadith collections have a ‘book’ of Jihad?

    • Below is what Al-Ghazali actually wrote about jihad war, and the treatment of the vanquished non-Muslim dhimmi peoples (from the Wagjiz, written in 1101 A.D.): …one must go on jihad (i.e., warlike razzias or raids) at least once a year…one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and/or drown them…If a person of the Ahl al-Kitab [People of The Book - Jews and Christians, typically] is enslaved, his marriage is [automatically] revoked…One may cut down their trees…One must destroy their useless books. Jihadists may take as booty whatever they decide…they may steal as much food as they need…

What’s Wrong With Muslims?

If they believe and are faithful, they obey Allah’s commands by joining the Jihad, striving hard with their lives and their wealth. If not called to fight, they support Jihad with Zakat. How did the Holy Land Foundation raise $13M for Hamas?

8:2.  The believers are only those who, when Allâh is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur’ân) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone);

49:15. Only those are the believers who have believed in Allâh and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allâh. Those! They are the truthful.

61:10. O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.

61:11.  That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

61:12. (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of ‘Adn ­ Eternity ['Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.

61:13. And also (He will give you) another (blessing) which you love, help from Allâh (against your enemies) and a near victory. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad ) to the believers.

What is the relationship between Allah & Muslims?

9:111. Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success .

That’s what Muslims do; they kill.  That’s what’s wrong with Muslims: they worship and obey a bloodthirsty demon who commands them to subjugate us.

Objections:

• I have Muslim friends; nice people, well behaved.
  • Muslims are explicitly commanded, in several ayat, not to befriend Kuffar. I will cite one of them.
  • 60:1. O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism, this Qur’ân, and Muhammad ), and have driven out the Messenger (Muhammad ) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allâh your Lord! If you have come forth to strive in My Cause and to seek My Good Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and polytheists, etc., as your friends). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray, (away) from the Straight Path .
• Most Muslims don’t engage in Jihad.
  • Yet. They haven’t been called by their Imam or Mullah. The Ummah is large and the battlefronts are relatively small. Once a sufficient number have answered the call, the rest are relieved unless an emergency occurs.

      Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas:

      The Prophet said, on the day of the Conquest of Mecca, “There is no migration (after the Conquest), but Jihad and good intentions, andwhen you are called for Jihad, you should immediately respond to the call.”

      The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: He who does not join the warlike expedition (jihad), or equip, or looks well after a warrior’s family when he is away, will be smitten by Allah with a sudden calamity. Yazid ibn Abdu Rabbihi said in his tradition: ‘before the Day of Resurrection”.
• Jihad is the Muslim's struggle against his ego and temptations.

• Jihad is an anachronism, only applicable to Moe’s lifetime.
  • Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526

    Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

    The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.

    Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

    I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

Take a cold, clear eyed second look at Abu Dawud 23.3455.

Islamophobia: Red Meat for Wired Truth Haters

 In Wired Magazine's Danger Room,  Noah Shachtman and Spencer Ackerman  pander to left wingers who passionately hate  those who tell the truth about Islam.  The pandering takes the form of  a provocative headline followed by a slide show  containing images from  Lt. Col. Matthew A. Dooley's classroom presentation. 

    The first slide  consists of a headline and five bullet points, one of which I could easily go negative on but I am  aware that the  slide is an outline, which refers to other course materials not presently in view, so I will reserve judgment. 

    The first point declares that parts of the  strategy will be  considered politically incorrect,  an obvious understatement.  In  war, the emphasis must be on  militarily correct strategy & tactics, not on  maintaining a PC image. 

    The second point informs us that the fourth Geneva Convention rules are not applicable to terrorism and hints at a "Phase III" which includes the destruction of Islam's "holy" cities. The historical precedents listed will be interpreted as suggesting the use of nuclear weapons to destroy Mecca & Medina. 

    The third point rules out deterrence.  Islamic jihad can not be deterred, it can only be delayed.  Our strategists need to wrap their minds around the Qur'an's Surah Al-Anfal and consider it as a whole with emphasis on 8:38, 60 & 65.  Deterrence does not apply to Islam because Muslims believe in Allah, his threat & promise.  Brig. S.K. Malik explained this in page 60 of The Qur'anic Concept of War : Islam makes Muslims immune to terror, hence to deterrence.

    The fourth point reiterates the inapplicability of the Geneva Conventions to terrorists.  The fifth point asks whether the conventions should be reconsidered to disqualify non state actors.

    That image is one of 28 pages in a pdf document which I would be inclined to describe as a course outline.  The authors  claim to have obtained "hundreds of pages of course material and reference documents ".  So, how do they classify the course? 

"The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff recently ordered the entire U.S. military to scour its training material to make sure it doesn’t contain similarly hateful material, a process that is still ongoing." [Emphasis added.]

    It appears that Noah Shachtman and Spencer Ackerman confuse truth and hate.  Strip out the political correctness, confusion & cognitive dissonance from the course, and what remains is a mixture of objective factual reality and strategic analysis.   The authors do not see the course in the cold light of reality, they view it in the darkness of propaganda.  Examine this exemplary paragraph. [Emphasis & links origtinal.]

For the better part of the last decade, a small cabal of self-anointed counterterrorism experts has been working its way through the U.S. military, intelligence and law enforcement communities, trying to convince whoever it could that America’s real terrorist enemy wasn’t al-Qaida — but the Islamic faith itself. In his course, Dooley brought in these anti-Muslim demagogues as guest lecturers. And he took their argument to its final, ugly conclusion.

"Cabal", "self-anointed",  "demagogues":  when you can not refute the message: attack the messenger.  Where  were OBL & Al-Qaeda in  the Barbary Wars?  Who attacked our shipping and why?  Look it up at Wikipedia if you don't know.  Ambassadors Jefferson & Adams asked Tripoli's Ambassador to London and were told that the 'right' to sack our shipping was established in Islamic law. His reply runs parallel to that of Al-Mughira to a Persian general.  [Emphasis & links added.]

Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:-- "Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master." [Sahih Bukhari 4.53.386]

    The concluding paragraphs of the first article in the series bring out some quotes which bring up important concepts and expose shallow research, shallow thinking or cognitive dissonance. 

"This barbaric ideology will no longer be tolerated. Islam must change or we will facilitate its self-destruction.”

Islam is a barbaric way of life: intra-species predation, not an ideology.  It is intolerable and should never be tolerated and there is no possibility of reforming it.  Perfection can not be improved, it can only be defiled: "This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islâm as your religion."[5:3] What Allah has perfected,. Muslims can not improve, neither can kuffar. 

    The Qur'anic enjunctions to wage perpetual war [8:39, 9:29 & 9:123] can not be excised nor amended because Allah's word is immutable: "No change can there be in the Words of Allâh, this is indeed the supreme success. "[10:64] , "No change let there be in Khalq­illâh (i.e. the Religion of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), " [30:30], " None can change His Words." [6:115], "None can change His Words" [18:27]

    What part of "no change" & "none can change" does Dooley not comprehend?  Those instructing our officers should become familiar with the subject before they start lecturing. 

“Islam reduced to a cult status” and “Saudi Arabia threatened with starvation.”

    Islam is cultic, its founder arranged marriages, married a juvenile, lusted after an infant  and  made himself the final arbiter in all matters spiritual & temporal.   We need to quit describing and recognizing Islam as a religion.  It is a way of life with a   contrived religious component which motivates its fighting forces and camouflages  its predatory  nature.    Cutting off Saudi Arabia's cash flow is not practical.  There is no real support for a boycott of Saudi oil. 

 “the historical precedents of Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki” to Islam’s holiest cities, and bringing about “Mecca and Medina['s] destruction.”

    Nuking Mecca & Medina would be a waste of bombs.  Instead of breaking Islamic morale, it would unite the Ummah in passionate hatred.   Military victory requires extinction.  If one Muslim remains, he will recruit others, build a fighting force, and resume attacks.  A Muslim's eternal destination is dependent on his participation in jihad: either the fire or the celestial bordello.  To see this for yourself, read 9:38-39 & 61:10-13. While there is Islam, there will be war.  Islam must be completely eradicated, there is no other solution.

    Defeating Islam militarily will require nuking major Muslim population concentrations; killing Mullahs, Imams & Mufties, bombing & strafing their funeral processions in mixed population areas.  Who is willing to wage total and exterminating war? Islam is, Western Civilization is not. Our cause is lost. 

    In the second page of their screed, Shachtman & ackerman lead off by showing their true colors. 

Dooley’s ideological allies have repeatedly stated that “mainstream” Muslims are dangerous, because they’re “violent” by nature. Yet only a few of al-Qaida’s most twisted fanatics were ever caught musing about wiping out entire cities.

   That treacherous calumny  depicts the defender  as worse than the attacker and is obviously false.    The President of Iran openly dreams of a "world without America".  The attacks on the World Trade Center were intended to destroy our economy.  Both Al-Qaeda and Iran seek nuclear weapons, exactly what would they be used for if not to destroy cities? 

     Muslims are dangerous, posing a real, proximate & persistent existential threat  to civilization because  of the intrinsic doctrines enshrined in the Qur'an and exemplified by the hadith..  "Jihad is ordained for you" [2:216] "Fight them until" [8:39]  "Fight those who... until" [9:29] .  "It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. " [8:67] .  "I will cast terror" [3:151, 8:12], "Allah cast terror" [33:26,  59:2].  Muslims are commanded to "strike terror" and "terrify" real and potential enemies [8:57, 8:60].

    Morons  & Traitors want us to believe that those  egregious ayat of  mandatory conquest, genocide & terror are metaphorical, anachronistic or deprecated.  But Moe said something that proves their maundery to be malignant: "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' " [Sahih Bukhari 1.8.387].  "I am commanded to fight with men till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Apostle, face our qiblah (direction of prayer), eat what we slaughter, and pray like us. " [Sunan Abu Dawud 14.2635]. "Jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal" [Sunan Abu Dawud 14.2526] .

     The Qur'an & hadith  are not the last word; they are codified in  Shari'ah:  Islamic law.  Open Reliance of the Traveller to  Book O, Chapter 9  and read through O9.9. Islamic law requires a minimum of one military expedition against disbelievers in every year.  "The caliph makes war on Jews...", "The caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim".  

    Hedaya, the Hanifi school's code, tells us that "War must be carried on against the infidels, at all times, by some party of the Muslims.".  "The destruction of the sword is incurred by infidels although they be not the first aggressors". [Vol. II, Bk. IX, Ch1].

“Some of these actions offered for consideration here will not be seen as ‘political correct’ in the eyes of many,”

    It is obvious that General Dempsey and the authors view the content of the course as politically incorrect. 

“Ultimately, we can do very little in the West to decide this matter, short of waging total war.”

    There is something Western Civilization can do, but it is unconventional and would require a great deal of investment and time.  Islam can be significantly weakened by inducing mass apostasy among the Ummah.  Plant the seeds of doubt & introspection, set the Ummah questioning; induce them to read Islam's canon of scripture, tradition, exegesis & jurisprudence.  Make them think rationally about what they believe and the practical realities of its implementation. 

    Show the Ummah how Moe plagiarized the Bible & Apocrypha.  Show them how he 'revealed' situational scripture to give 'divine' sanction to his lusts.  Prove to them that Allah is an impotent idol whose threat & promise are vain. 

    Begin with production & mass distribution of a full length feature documentary on the life of Moe, based on the Sira & authentic hadith.  At least two scripts are ready for production.  Get it done, translated into Arabic, Urdu & Farsi and distribute it world wide by satellite broadcast & dvd.  Since much of the Ummah is illiterate, it is necessary to distribute the Qur'an & hadith in audio format and multiple languages. 

    Instead of presenting facts and logical arguments, the authors engage in argumentum ad hominem.

    Religious freedom applies to legitimate religions: theological entities dedicated to right relationships between men, God and each other; benign, anodyne, beneficent & eleemosynary.  Islam is a predatory way of life contrived for its founder's personal emolument through the propagation perpetuation of war.     If there is a right to practice Islam, then we have no rights; all our human rights enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and protected by the Constitution are abrogated.  To Islam, our blood and property are not sacred and we have no rights until we become Muslims.  The practice of Islam entails jihad: warfare against non-Muslims.  Allah commanded it, Moe exemplified it, and it is part of an all or nothing package deal, as 2:85 makes clear. 

    Cultural awareness:  Is the General aware of the content of the culture of Islam?  What symbol is on the flag of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?  What does that symbol represent?  Perhaps the General should read the translator's footnote to 2:190.

    Exactly what is objectionable about accurately naming and describing the enemy when we have been attacked and war is waged against us?   I have no doubt that the objector is a Muslim.  How many Nazis were in our officer corps in WWII?   So why do we enlist and commission the enemy in this war?   Why should we care if the enemy objects to being named and described? 

    What values?  Do we now value obfuscation, ignorance, irrationality, surrender & submission over victory to make peace, security and justice prevail? 

    It was not academically sound: it insanely assumed that Islam is reformable.  It insanely assumed that nuking Mecca & Medina would win the war.  But its identification and general characterization of enemy doctrine is sound; based on objective factual reality. 

    The attitude displayed by Gen. Dempsey indicates to me that he might be better suited to writing for Wired than leading the Chiefs of Staff.
