Catholics to Hillary: Stop Using Mother Teresa in Ad

This article was written by Susan Jones,
CNSNews.com Senior Editor

A Catholic advocacy group is urging Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign to remove an image of Mother Teresa from a campaign video narrated by former President Bill Clinton.

"It is wholly inappropriate, disrespectful and disturbing that Hillary Clinton is using an image of Blessed Mother Teresa as a political tool, especially given their radically different views on abortion," said Fidelis President Joseph Cella.

He noted that Mother Teresa fought to protect unborn children, while Hillary Clinton "staunchly supports abortion on demand in all nine months of pregnancy, including partial birth abortion and taxpayer funding of abortion.

"Out of respect to Mother Teresa, and the Missionaries of Charity strict guidelines for the use of Mother's image, we call on the Hillary Clinton campaign to immediately remove her image from their campaign video," Cella said in a news release.

Darling Hillary (HEAVY Sarcasm "Syrup" Here!)

It's been quite a day for our Southern Accent faker! This article came to me in my email through my friend Dean and I promised I'd blog it tonight.

DEMOCRATS & IRAQ: HERE'S HILLARY
By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN
Published in The New York Post on May 13, 2007.

For those who are too obtuse to understand Sen. Hillary Clinton's simple and clear position on Iraq , the following is an attempt to summarize it:

WARNING! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO READ THIS IF YOU ARE TAKING ANYTHING MORE POWERFUL THAN BABY ASPIRIN! IT COULD HAVE TERRIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER ERUPTIONS, FORCING YOUR FAMILY TO LOCK YOU IN YOUR ROOM UNTIL YOU CAN SETTLE DOWN AND BEHAVE!

MOST DEFINITELY DO NOT TRY TO DRINK ANYTHING OR YOU'RE LIABLE TO RELIVE THOSE AWFUL JR. HIGH DAYS OF LIQUIDS EXPLODING FROM YOUR NOSE WHILE TRYING NOT TO LAUGH!

* She voted in the Senate for H.J. Res. 114, the "Authorization of the Use of Military Force Against Iraq," in October 2002. But now she wants to repeal it. Why? Because, according to Hillary, President Bush misinterpreted the "Authorization of the Use of Military Force Against Iraq" resolution to mean that the use of military force against Iraq had been authorized by Congress. (I believe this was also used as John Kerry's arguement for his vote for it before he was against it as well)

* At the time of her vote, she stated that her vote for the troop authorization bill was made "with conviction . . . as being in the best interests of the country." Uh-huh--and I see pigs flying any day now, as well as that snow cone stand satan set up on the 7th level of hell...

* But once the war became unpopular, Hillary claimed that she hadn't really voted to send troops to Iraq when she voted for the resolution authorizing the use of military force in Iraq .
No, according to Sen. Clinton, all the "Authorization of the Use of Military Force Against Iraq" really did was to toughen the support we were already giving to United Nations inspectors who were looking for weapons of mass destruction. Although the text of the resolution never mentions a single word about strengthening the U.N. inspectors, Hillary believed that was the purpose of the bill. Would you want this woman representing YOU in court?

* She won't apologize for voting for the use of military force resolution because she knew that it did not authorize the use of military force. That's always been clear to her. It was Bush's mistake, not hers. He misled her. But, if she had known then that he would have interpreted the bill to authorize sending troops, she would have voted against it. Maybe Slick Willie took his prevaricating patterns from her--she is at this point the only licensed attorney in the family, Slick Willie having been disbarred. Define "is".

* So now she wants to rescind the authorization to go to war that she voted for in 2002 (although she certainly did not intend to vote for sending troops) - so that President Bush can't send any more troops to Iraq .

* But she will still vote to appropriate funds to pay for the war, even though it would be illegal for Bush to spend money for a purpose that Congress hasn't authorized. So I guess she's saying while it's illegal for Bush to do so, it's NOT illegal for her to do so? And her sound reasoning would be?

* She's repeatedly said that she would not support a definite timetable for withdrawal from Iraq , but then she introduced a bill to begin withdrawal of the troops 90 days from the day her bill passes. (Given her legislative record, that could be 90 days from the Twelfth of Never.) And she voted for the Democratic troop-withdrawal bill. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKK....

* As president, she would definitely end the war, she says . . . but she wouldn't pull out all the troops. Instead, she'd leave U.S. servicemen and -women troops there for the following missions: air, logistical and intelligence support for the Iraqis; training of the Iraqi forces; guarding the hundreds of miles of border with Iran to prevent infiltration, and chasing al Qaeda operatives in Iraq. The only thing they wouldn't do is fight an "urban civil war." And, that's different from what they're doing now HOW???

* Despite the extensive mandate of the residual mission, she would not commit large numbers of troops. She won't say how many. Of course not--there might be a record of it somewhere. It appears she doesn't realize there are records NOW in the NEW MEDIA!

* And all of the troops she sends in will have full body armor. Who is going to pay for it? Which of her beloved government programs is she going to rob for it? How much more will she raise taxes for it? ENQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!

Got it?

I wrote about other contradictions of hers here that broke down a clip from Rush's show. Check it out if you REALLY want your head to spin!

Death Threat to Eagles… by a “peace” marcher

Ok, so now I am bent, pissed off, mad, steaming and any other damn word that means ANGRY;

GOE sent out an email headed just as the title of this post.

  1. DCRage Says:
May 15th, 2007 at 4:53 pm I was in the Black Bloc, and I have to say that your GOE showing was not impressive at all, in fact it hardened the resolve of the leftists to end this war and all of you with it. All you succeeded in doing was making us feel bad for you. But that won’t stop us or our mission. When we got back from the rally, we had a good laugh about the whole thing and which one of you was the most ridiculous. I’d also like to thank all of you for the wonderful pictures you took of us, though it’s a shame you didn’t post any of our little flag display. That really pissed you off, didn’t it? We could see it in your eyes how much that burned. And you know what we did? We laughed. We laughed because we know all your rage against us won’t ever stop the flames from engulfing flag after flag, and we know that it won’t stop our ultimate victory either. So congratulate yourselves now, but when you can’t avoid it anymore, the flames will still be there. Then all that will be left is the pitiful, dead ashes of the flag and this sick system, and a new one will rise. We are in your city, your suburbs, we may even be right next door. We have time, yet we waste none. Today it might be a brick through a recruitment station window, but there is so much more ahead. We are growing, training, and learning. You are simply getting old. Your time is limited, ours is just beginning. So keep your red white and blue flying high, because soon the Red and Black banners will be at your doorstep. What will you do then?

Now, I ain’t the brightest bulb on the tree, but I’m pretty sure threatening to terminate veterans and vandalize buildings are quite against the law. But before any of us jump to conclusions, I invite concerned citizens to contact our friend directly at zapatista1994@gmail.com.

The implied threat here is unmistakable and the writer, a disgusting piece of crap, but remember folks, this IS your far left anti-American mindset that is alive in this country.

Then we get to the burning of the flag issue, don't feed me any crap about "constitutional rights" to burn our nations flag, it shouldn't even be an issue of whether people have that right or not, it falls under the Right or Wrong category.

What kind of worthless piece of garbage thinks that burning the symbol of our great country makes any other statement than to tell those watching what an anti-American peice of shit the burner is?

Anyone remember this picture?

Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima is a historic photograph taken on February 23, 1945, by Joe Rosenthal. It depicts five United States Marines and a U.S. Navy corpsman raising the flag of the United States atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II.

The photograph was extremely popular, being reprinted in thousands of publications. Later, it became the only photograph to win the Pulitzer Prize for Photography in the same year as its publication, and ultimately came to be regarded as one of the most significant and recognizable images of the war, and possibly the most reproduced photograph of all time.[1]

Of the six men depicted in the picture, three (Franklin Sousley, Harlon Block, and Michael Strank) did not survive the battle; the three survivors (John Bradley, Rene Gagnon, and Ira Hayes) became celebrities upon the publication of the photo. The picture was later used by Felix de Weldon to sculpt the USMC War Memorial, located adjacent to Arlington National Cemetery just outside Washington, D.C.

Anyone remember our star spangled banner?

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner: O, long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash'd out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand,
Between their lov'd homes and the war's desolation;
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us as a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust"
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

On Sept. 13, 1814, Francis Scott Key visited the British fleet in Chesapeake Bay to secure the release of Dr. William Beanes, who had been captured after the burning of Washington, DC. The release was secured, but Key was detained on ship overnight during the shelling of Fort McHenry, one of the forts defending Baltimore. In the morning, he was so delighted to see the American flag still flying over the fort that he began a poem to commemorate the occasion. First published under the title “Defense of Fort M'Henry,” the poem soon attained wide popularity as sung to the tune “To Anacreon in Heaven.” The origin of this tune is obscure, but it may have been written by John Stafford Smith, a British composer born in 1750. “The Star-Spangled Banner” was officially made the national anthem by Congress in 1931, although it already had been adopted as such by the army and the navy.

Our flag is our symbol, it is our pride, songs, pictures and memorials are set up with the America Flag and you are damn straight I will call anyone that chooses to burn our flag, unpatriotic and un-American.

If you do not love our country, why are you still here?

Get the fuck out and don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.

True Meanings of Muslim "Labels"

Hat Tip to Miss Ladybug at The Victory Caucus for this one! It comes from the comment section at Blackfive during a conversation regarding what to call the Ft. Dix Six. As the writer of this states, I wonder how CAIR is going to react to this?

Here's the article:

Comment below written by: @thepointyend

Personally, I like it when their warriors are hole-ey.

From the Stromata Blog last year:

The Hirabah of the Mufsidun

While I doubt that the Moslem world is much influenced by whatever Westerners say, new terms of denigration for Islamofascism are always welcome (first seen at Never Yet Melted):

We cannot win wide-spread support throughout the Muslim world if we use terms that, to them, define the behavior of our enemies as moral. Because the Global War on Terrorism—or more precisely the war against Islamic totalitarian terrorism—includes a war of ideas, leaders, journalists, authors and speakers must use the most accurate terms to describe those ideas. . . .

Many of these terms will be unfamiliar to Westerners, but not to most Muslim audiences. Only those who actively, passively or even unwittingly [emphasis in original] support al-Qa’ida’s (and similar groups’) professed goals would find the terms, and their use by non-Muslims, offensive. .

Hirabah: this word, which is derived from the Arabic root which refers to war or combat, means sinful warfare, warfare contrary to Islamic law. There is ample legal justification for applying this term to Islamic totalitarian terrorists and no moral ambiguity in its connotation. We should describe the Islamic totalitarian movement as the global hirabah, not the global jihad [footnote omitted].

Mufsid (moofsid): this word refers to an evil or corrupt person; the plural is mufsidun. We call our enemies mufsidun, not jihadis, for two reasons. Again, there is no moral ambiguity and the specific denotation of corruption carries enormous weight in most of the Islamic world.

Fitna/fattan: fitna literally means temptation or trial, but has come to refer to discord and strife among Muslims; a fattan is a tempter or subversive. Applying these terms to our enemies and their works condemns their current activities as divisive and harmful [footnote omitted]. It also identifies them with movements and individuals in Islamic history with negative reputations such as the assassins of the Caliph ‘Uthman in 656, who created the first fissure in the political unity of the Muslim community.

Totalitarian: calling our enemies totalitarian serves several purposes. There is no such thing as a benign totalitarianism. Totalitarianism is a Western invention and it appeared in the Islamic world as a result of Western influence (first fascist, then Marxist-Leninist). It is also in direct contrast to the idea that the enemy would actually establish a caliphate [a term with positive connotations for Moslems] if they defeat the United States, our allies and coalition partners.

I’ll be interested to observe the reaction of CAIR and its ilk if opponents of Islamic extremism start writing about hirabah, mufsidun and fattan.

To reiterate: “Only those who actively, passively or even unwittingly support al-Qa’ida’s (and similar groups’) professed goals would find the terms, and their use by non-Muslims, offensive.”

Lemme show you just who's 'ahkbar', f-head.

Thanks again Miss Ladybug, for this GREAT piece of education!
