U.N. Bans Criticism of Islam

On Tuesday, December 24, 2007, The United Nations General Assembly, passed by a vote of 108 to 51; 25 members abstaining, a resolution of the most despicable hypocrisy. " Combating defamation of religions".

In fact, the title is the first lie; only Islam is of interest to the General Assembly. The resolution was sponsored by Pakistan with the support of the OIC.

Herein you will find excerpts taken out of context, in block quotes, followed by my comments. Note that the resolution is one long run on sentence worthy of Faulkner. [Emphasis added.]

Recalling that all States have pledged themselves, under the Charter of the
United Nations, to promote and encourage universal respect for and observance of
all human rights and fundamental freedoms without distinction as to race, sex,
language or religion,

How about the right to live unmolested, secure in one's person & property, and to believe and worship or disbelieve and abstain from worship as one sees fit? These fundamental rights are denied by Islam. Allah said:

• And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do. 8:39
• Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 9:29

And Moe said:

• "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." What institution directly contravenes the rights above referenced? The very institution we are exhorted to protect from defamation: Islam! The resolution reeks of hypocrisy.

Reaffirming that discrimination against human beings on the grounds of
religion or belief constitutes an affront to human dignity and a disavowal of the
principles of the Charter,

Human dignity? What human dignity! And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us[...] How can anyone read those words without cursing Islam? Who discriminates on the grounds of religion? Does not the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia prohibit the entry of Jews? Does not the Kingdom of Jordan prohibit selling real property to Jews? Has no General Assembly Delegate read the Pact of Umar?

• We shall not build, in our cities or in their neighborhood, new monasteries, Churches, convents, or monks' cells, nor shall we repair, by day or by night, such of them as fall in ruins or are situated in the quarters of the Muslims.
• We shall not manifest our religion publicly nor convert anyone to it. We shall not prevent any of our kin from entering Islam if they wish it.
• We shall show respect toward the Muslims, and we shall rise from our seats when they wish to sit.
• We shall not display our crosses or our books in the roads or markets of the Muslims. We shall use only clappers in our churches very softly. We shall not raise our voices when following our dead. We shall not show lights on any of the roads of the Muslims or in their markets. We shall not bury our dead near the Muslims.

If a man has knowledge of this, yet does not curse Islam, he has no soul and ought to be cast directly into Hell!

Religious diversity? Does Islam respect religious diversity?

Would that include 9/11, Beslan, Madrid & London? Would that include the recent pogroms against Egyptian Copts? No, but they threaten our fundamental freedoms by attempting to censor exposure and criticism of the damnable doctrines and practices of Islam!!!

Noting with concern that defamation of religions is among the causes of social
disharmony and leads to violations of human rights,

Evidently they are ignorant of or disregard the defamation of Judaism & Christianity and incitement of violence contained in the Qur'an. Why in Hell don't they go right to the source and ban the Qur'an & Hadith? Why do they condemn us for exposing the contents of those damnable documents?

associated with human rights violations and terrorism;

The Taliban prohibited and still wages an intimidation campaign against girls going to school. In Egypt at the present time, two teenage boys are suing for continuance of their education. Their father converted from Christianity to Islam in order to obtain a divorce. Egypt demands that they pass a test in Quranic studies in order to continue their education. The U.N. does not give a damn about that injustice.

Affirms that the Human Rights Council shall promote universal respect
for all religious and cultural values and address instances of intolerance,
discrimination and incitement of hatred against any community or adherents of any
religion;

The Qur'an, Hadith & Fiqh command discrimination, intolerance, genocide & terror against Jews, Christians & Zoroastrians. Why in Hell is there no resolution outlawing Islam's canon of scripture, tradition & law? The present resolution condemns the victims while shielding the perpetrators. Such hypocrisy exposes the U.N. to well deserved contempt and detestation.

I intend to post a petition demanding withdrawal from the U.N. and expulsion of that institution from the sovereign territory of the U.S.A. I hope that you will endorse and promote that petition.

Talk About a Back-Pedaling Hypocrite! Sharp-ima-ton's at it AGAIN!

We already know Al Sharp-ima-ton has no integrity. We already know this man has no intellectual honesty. We already know when it comes to hate-mongering he, along with Jackson, are the champs. So here's yet another piece of hypocrisy from the self-appointed moral arbiter of the black masses. I wish to GOD they would wake up and listen to someone with class, like Juan Williams ("Enough") or Bill Cosby, instead of buying into this jerk's tired old lines.

This time, his target was Mitt Romney and Romney's Mormon beliefs. I'm also sure it also hurts Sharp-ima-ton that Romney is a fantastic business man, a loyal family man, a man of integrity, a man who looks good on camera, a man who can connect with the common man. All things Sharp-ima-ton CAN'T do.

Sharpton denies disputing Romney's faith

Al Sharpton', who recently urged that radio host Don Imus be fired for making a racially insensitive remark, said in a debate that "those of us who believe in God" will defeat Republican Mitt Romney for the White House. But Sharpton denied he was questioning the Mormon's own belief in God.

Rather, the New York Democrat said he was contrasting himself with Christopher Hitchens, the atheist author he was debating at the time.

"As for the one Mormon running for office, those who really believe in God will defeat him anyways, so don't worry about that; that's a temporary situation," Sharpton said Monday during a debate with Hitchens at the New York Public Library's Beaux-Arts headquarters. SOUNDS LIKE IT'S AIMED AT ROMNEY TO ME!!!

The comment was first reported Tuesday in a blog on The New York Times's Web site.

The Romney campaign, which has been wary of campaign trail criticism of Romney's faith, jumped on the Sharpton comment. If elected, Romney would be the first Mormon to serve as president.

"It is terribly disheartening and disappointing to hear Reverend Sharpton offer such appalling comments about a fellow American's faith," said Romney spokesman Kevin Madden. "America is a nation of many faiths and common values, and bigotry toward anyone because of their beliefs is unacceptable."

Romney himself said Monday during an appearance on Fox News program "Hannity and Colmes": "I think there are differences between different faiths in this country. And there will be battles between different religions. ... That's a great thing about this country. We don't decide who's going to be in office based on what church they go to."

In a tape of the debate, Sharpton can be heard defending the role of religion in the civil rights movement and shunning any suggestion that there wasn't a religious underpinning to the efforts of its leader, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Then Sharpton spoke of Romney, although a tape reviewed by The Associated Press does not reveal why.

In a later interview with the AP, Sharpton denied questioning Romney's belief in God and suggested the Romney camp was trying to stir up a controversy because of their political differences.

"What I said was that we would defeat him, meaning as a Republican," Sharpton said. "A Mormon, by definition, believes in God. They don't believe in God the way I do, but by definition, they believe in God."

He said he was contrasting himself and other believers with Hitchens, who is the author of a new book, "God Is Not Great." BACK PEDAL, BACK PEDAL,BACK PEDAL!!!

Last month, Sharpton led the calls for Imus' ouster last month after the talk show host referred to members of the Rutgers University women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos."
